The food was good the waitress could've been more attentive instead of us having to flag her down for what we need like napkins and a refill. The price with the amount of food you get. Don't think I will be coming back to pay $30 for that little bit of steak.

I ordered via DoorDash for pick up, everything was nicely presented. The salad was a little sad and there were a few pieces of lettuce that were less than appealing looking sitting right on top but I just picked those out. The soup was 11/10, very flavorful and delicious and stayed super hot even though it wasn't consumed right away. The sushi tasted fresh and delicious. There was one roll that was covered in crunchies and sauce that I couldn't identify and just looked a little messy but tasted good. Taking off a star for the service itself. I think it was the owner but he greeted me right when I arrived, told him I was there for a pick up, he hurriedly said it was getting ready (even though the email I got said it was ready?) then rushed over to the bar to talk to the bartender who I'm assuming is new and proceeded to talk down to her. The other person who helped me after him really didn't seem like she knew what was going on and I don't think she normally worked in that particular role or something. Someone from the kitchen came up with the soups and salads which would have entirely been missed, even though I had no idea my order came with that. I'm glad it did, that soup was really good. The person from the kitchen packed everything for me, I asked them if they had a tip jar and the cash tip I left was put in a secured drawer. Hopefully the staff gets those. I'm not from the area so I can't really say I'd be back. But from the sounds of the people in the hibachi area, it appeared to be a good time.

The servers at this restaurant are the most attentive and friendly in the entire town. If I was only rating the servers, they'd have five stars. Our experience with the hibachi grill was that we really enjoyed the food. I recommend not getting the tempura, sadly. It was flavorless in the batter, and the vegetables were not cooked well. I think taro and pumpkin were some of the offerings, and they weren't my favorite. The teriyaki was alright. Fried rice was ok. We love the onion soup. The salad had far too much dressing on it. It was swimming. I have no idea how the quality of the sushi was, as I'm truly unqualified to judge sushi.

The food was magnificent and so good the service was amazing I would go here so many times a little pricey but not that bad at all for a hibachi place you should go here for birthdays or just to eat they have a restaurant or hibachi or sushi place go here

I really like this restaurant. It's not fair for me to give stars as it's NOT 5-stars by any means but 2-3 stars isn't fair either. The staff (servers, manager, Itamae) are so nice. Food is good too. I always get the same thing the salmon or scallop lunch that is served on a hot skillet. The dressing for the salad is good as is the soup. If you want a decent meal and maybe some of your party wants sushi as well I really recommend this place.

Ramen and the best sushi in Yakima! Fish is always fresh and sourced sustainably.

Food is always great and consistent. Service is amazing and servers are always nice and welcoming. Atmosphere is dim and calming, very family friendly and overall awesome place for family dinners, parties and more!

We sat at the sushi bar for our date tonight, & we were the only ones for a while. ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. It was awesome. The rolls were delicious & the chef Rudy even made us a roll from the secret menu. No complaints, everything/one was on point. We will definitely be returning.

The servers were really nice. The highlight was the fish appetizer that was like a poke. I can't remember the name, but it had chips standing in it. With those two ideas in mind, I've rated them higher than the meal would merit. The meat and seafood didn't seem fresh and were coated with a sugary glaze. I had scallops and my husband had the sukiyaki steak and vegetables. For a small town it's commendable to have some variety, but this isn't near the quality I've had before.

Very overpriced for what you get. The quality was below average and the portions were embarrassing. Stopped in Yakima just for the night and made the wrong decision stopping here. Hope it improves drastically.

Just okay, it is fun to watch them cook on the flat top and put on a show, but not as experienced as others

Love their fried rice, very tasty. Prefer going when I have time for the hibachi, not enough time to go during lunch in the work week.

On a Wednesday evening, we stopped in for Happy Hour at WaterFire near the airport. Their Happy…read moreHour runs from 3-6pm (and all day on Wednesdays), with food menu only available in the restaurant. My spouse and I each ordered a Martini (with house New Amsterdam gin), which we enjoyed. We also each ordered the Thai Chicken Nachos from the Happy Hour menu -- a generous, flavorful dish with plenty left to take home for the next day. (My repeat order, it's that good!) What really stood out was how warm, friendly, and attentive the wait staff was to everyone. A very enjoyable visit and a spot we're happy to return to.

Let's talk about this…read more. WaterFire has been our staple for date night times away from the kids. Although the previous experience has been great this time was lackluster. What was once our flavorful regular was now a dull and bland. Au jus was water with a hint of flavor, horseradish sauce was a warm water based cream with the deprived pungent horseradish taste we've all grown to love. The French dip sadly tasted better without all of its companions. Next up was the Wagyu cheeseburger, seemed to have a grainy texture to its bites, with a disappointing finish. The WF calamari was tweaked adding green olives and whole tentacles, which was weird considering it's never been that way. Honestly the best item we got was the Gorgonzola wagyu beef kabobs. These were cooked to perfection and gave us that reversion we craved. Although this was our first bad experience here, it will not deter us from returning. When I get the chance to revisit I will update this review in hopes for the better.
