The tonkotsu ramen, rice bowl, and gyoza were the best items. The shoyu ramen was just ok in my opinion. Note that the rice bowl is pretty small. It is more like a side item to accompany your ramen or for someone who isn't very hungry. Another plus- this place is small, but has AC! This seems so rare from the restaurants we ate at in Playa.

The restaurant looks really cool when you enter and it's exciting, but behind the kitchen counter are local cooks/chefs and I do not see any authentically trained sushi chefs to help guide the staff, so the cuts of fish are absolutely awful and it's clear that the staff does not know how to properly cut fish. It's unfortunate. We plan on coming back to stay at the resort next March and we do not plan on coming here, with the exception of desserts.
