I pulled up to the drive up pharmacy window to pick up a prescription, and the pharmacist never even acknowledged that I was there. He just went about what he was doing ignoring me for 10 minutes. I ended up just leaving and transferring my prescriptions to Amazon pharmacy where they are delivered and less than half the cost of Walgreens.

I was soon called up and spoke with Maria and RPH Paul to discuss my identity etc. Several minutes later and to my right the loud person explained to Shelly you should have received a FAX from California for prescriptions, well at the time the store had not received the the FAX. The customer was louder and more disgruntled. Like I said the customer was loud so I practically everyone in the store could hear. RPH Paul was to my left and said unknowingly to the customer to my right sir please lower your voice or I will call the police. I'M A GIRL replied the customer! Paul's view point was obstructed by employees and computer screens. The unsatisfied customer was still irate and wanting prescriptions and again slammed the palm of the hand on the counter top saying loudly, I'M A GIRL! I guess from Paul's point of view, the customer was wearing a mask and had an obstructed point of view. The person soon left after Paul said I will call the police. Paul, Shelly, Maria, LeAnn work diligently and hard but are always polite, professional, and experts in their fields.

However, I truly hate the customer service experience from their pharmacy. I get so frustrated trying to pick up medications for my parents. It's been so consistently bad, that I had them move all of their prescriptions to Hy-Vee which is farther from our house. I would not recommend buying fresh florals, make up or vitamins here unless they're on sale, they're usually overpriced. We also get our vaccination shots here sometimes, I find it very convenient and you can easily schedule online.

I backed into a spot and walked into the store. Each Walgreens tends to be set up slightly differently. I had Crest Densify toothpaste greet me. A few steps more, I got a huge Squishmallows plushie screaming at me to take him home. Sadly, I had to pass because he was huge. I was here to get some hair accessories. My hair elastic holder died on me and I needed a replacement. I found the perfect set. Since I do have shorter hair these days, I found some stylish bobby pins that looked like barrettes. I picked those up, too. The sugar-free candies section is incredible. It was my first time seeing sugar-free Red Vines. Who knew? I visited this store on New Year's Eve Eve. There were hats and other celebratory accessories. I have a weakness for Campbell's Chunky Soup. It was a luxury to me as a kid. A soup that eats like a meal? Yes, please! Chunky soup was on sale. I got a can each of the sirloin burger with country vegetables, and creamy chicken and dumplings. I went to pay for my items. I had a nice, polite man help me out. I entered my phone number on the payment screen to get some items discounted. I paid with my credit card and all was great. I thanked the man and headed to my car. Back to Chunky soup, it's perfect when you are travelling because you can lift the lid open without finding a can opener. It's up to you whether you want to heat it up in a small pot or microwave, depending on what you have in your hotel room. My favourite is the sirloin burger with country veggies. It's so hearty and delicious. Towards the end of my stay, I cracked open the creamy chicken and dumplings. It was my first time having it. It may be my second favourite soup now. They did not fill the prescription wrong, but rather gave her someone else's medication! I still can't comprehend how this happened with all of the questions they ask regarding address and phone number. The most concerning thing was when I reached back out, the store manager stated that this has happened before and will likely happen again, due to mistakes. I understand that, but the nonchalant attitude of the staff, with the store manager leading the way, is dangerous. We will never use Walgreen's Apple Valley, and will question using Walgreens again. It's also a nice reminder to check ALL medication before using and don't simply rely on professionals to provide it.

It was quicker to drive there, wait in line, get help, and drive home than it is to wait on the phone. Every phone call is a minimum hour long. And this is just my most recent experience. I liked seeing nail care. I ended up getting a two-pack of nail clippers by Olive & June. I like the nail accessories that this company makes. I got a couple of 2 L bottles of pop. I also got two packages of Pepperidge Farm cookies. M&M's has a bakery collection out. This store didn't have it. However, it had caramel M&M's pop'd. It has a cookie component that's freeze-dried. I lined up at the checkout. I got a woman at the checkout who noticed that one of my Pepperidge Farms cookies had expired. It was a bummer, as it was the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. I went to swap it out for dark chocolate Milano cookies. I then let the woman know that there was another package of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies that had expired. I realize that there are a ton of products in this drugstore. I felt that the tone of her voice made me feel like it was my fault for picking up an expired box. She didn't say anything when I let her know about the second box. I then said that both need to be removed from the shelf. She finally acknowledged that they would be. It was weird. I appreciated that she noticed the expiration date, but it was the delivery that wasn't the best. I entered my phone number associated with my rewards at Walgreens. I got some savings applied. My receipt was sent to my inbox. She bagged my items. I thanked her and carried my goods to my rental vehicle. The toenail clippers work nicely. I like the silicone grips. The clippers are effective and safe. The caramel M&M's pop'd snacks are so good. They are a bit expensive getting a bag for $9. They are worth treating yourself to a bag. It's a decent drugstore.
