After grabbing a bite to eat at Taco Bell, I spotted this Walgreens across the street. I decided to drive over to this store and check it out. There was plenty of parking. I backed into a spot and walked into the store. Each Walgreens tends to be set up slightly differently. I had Crest Densify toothpaste greet me. A few steps more, I got a huge Squishmallows plushie screaming at me to take him home. Sadly, I had to pass because he was huge. I was here to get some hair accessories. My hair elastic holder died on me and I needed a replacement. I found the perfect set. Since I do have shorter hair these days, I found some stylish bobby pins that looked like barrettes. I picked those up, too. The sugar-free candies section is incredible. It was my first time seeing sugar-free Red Vines. Who knew? I visited this store on New Year's Eve Eve. There were hats and other celebratory accessories. I have a weakness for Campbell's Chunky Soup. It was a luxury to me as a kid. A soup that eats like a meal? Yes, please! Chunky soup was on sale. I got a can each of the sirloin burger with country vegetables, and creamy chicken and dumplings. I went to pay for my items. I had a nice, polite man help me out. I entered my phone number on the payment screen to get some items discounted. I paid with my credit card and all was great. I thanked the man and headed to my car. Back to Chunky soup, it's perfect when you are travelling because you can lift the lid open without finding a can opener. It's up to you whether you want to heat it up in a small pot or microwave, depending on what you have in your hotel room. My favourite is the sirloin burger with country veggies. It's so hearty and delicious. Towards the end of my stay, I cracked open the creamy chicken and dumplings. It was my first time having it. It may be my second favourite soup now. It was indeed chunky and hearty. The dumplings were pillowy, and are a cross between slippery dumplings and spaetzle. So good! I had a great experience here. My hair accessories are great, too. Went to pick up my prescription in the drive through. After having my debit card and driver's license for less than 5 minutes and not giving them back to me they claim they couldn't find them. I looked outside on the ground and moved my car up to look under to make such I wasn't missing them because they claim they were on top of my bag when they sent it out. Not only did I look on the ground but a pharmacy tech also came out to help me look. Not found. I called the police because something wasn't right about all this and not being able to find it. I went into the pharmacy to see if they had talked yet to the cop because he was going to call them. I was told by Megan that she looked at the video and saw that the card was sent out! Hard to believe that after 2 people looked thoroughly on the ground outside for it that we couldn't find it anywhere! The cop called me after he talked to Megan (he though he was talking to pharmacist). I thought since she told me she viewed the video and it was sent out to me, I called her to ask if I could view that video and if she would let me I'd get the cop to come in so we could view it together! Low and behold it shows up. She claims someone from the drive thru found it on the ground and brought it in. Seriously where was it when two people were out there looking for it and it was no where? After all this I came home and thought since my prescription was a narcotic I'm going to count them to see that I got the correct amount and I was shorted one pill. I called and Megan answered. I told her that I was shorted. She rudely said that I was not. Not only did I count it 4 times but had my husband count it also just to make sure. I'm writing this review to let people know to be careful when dealing with this location! Next time due to being shorted I will ask for them to count them in front of me before I leave the store. The general manager is going to be looking into this and watching video to find out what she can. Even the cop after telling him I got my cards back had a hard time believing that something fishy seems to be going on!! read more

I waited 58 minutes to get passport pictures, with nobody else in line by me. The manager was a very nice man. The two older ladies were terrible at costumer service and AO rude to everyone. read more

This has to be the most incompetent and most poorly run pharmacy on the face of the planet. First off, I call in my refills and EVERY single time, it says I have to speak to someone. Of course you have to give them ALL of your information AGAIN. Then once they fill the prescription, maybe 1-3 hours later, they call and say that I have a prescription ready. Well, Dah. To make it even worse, if I fill 3 prescriptions, they call 3 times!!! Now this is the final straw. One of my prescriptions is unavailable, supposedly a nationwide back order (their words, not sure that is even true), and do you think they would call me or my doctor BEFORE I ran out? Of course not. I found this out on Sunday, and they said they would call the doctor first thing Monday morning. Well, today is Wednesday, I just talked to my doctor and they have no indication that the pharmacy ever contacted them. If I was dying and needed a prescription filled and this was the only one within 1000 miles, I would drive somewhere else!!! read more

the pharmacy is very difficult to work with. they do not have insulin and told us to check with another pharmacy and they MIGHT have it. i would think that the pharmacist working here would call another place for us since we are the customers and literally need insulin to survive. do not go here at all. this has happened multiple times. read more

Rudest, most incompetent pharmacy I've ever experienced. I have suffered with them for 10 years but TODAY was the final straw; I'm switching pharmacies as soon as I can. I am greeted with rudeness and/or cluelessness every single time. Today on the phone I was interrupted over and over until I had to raise my voice to ask the woman to let me finish a sentence. She kept answering questions that I wasn't asking. Why? Because she kept cutting me off and talking over me. This was not a one-time issue. It pretty much summarizes my entire experience at this Cliff Rd. pharmacy. I recommend you try another place, ANY other place where they treat you like a human being. read more

Walgreens has most things that you need - food, make-up, drugs (the legal kind), cleaning products, etc. However, I usually don't come here for these items because I've found that they tend to be marked up in price. I DO come here to get my prescription filled at their pharmacy. Their pharmacy technicians are very friendly and helpful! I really appreciate their quick and efficient service. The fill/refill process is ridiculously easy. I usually fill a new prescription in-store and then refill online. All you have to do is sign up for an account online, add your e-mail, and they'll send you an e-mail to remind you to refill - all you have to do is reply to it with no subject or text needed. They also have a nifty app that you can download on your phone to refill prescriptions as well! read more

I enjoy going to Walgreens on Cliff--I live nearby,they have what I need,and the workers are very friendly. I also get many prescriptions here due have cancer. Very rude pharmacist (Mohammad) at this location, tried to transfer my mom's prescription out due to finding an easier delivery system. My parents sought his help, they complained to me that he was very difficult to work with, couldn't understand him. ( to me) So we had the new pharmacy contact him, and the same issue. In addition, he couldn't follow through with sending the new pharmacy a current list. The only reason I place a 3 on this, is that the manager of the store thanked me for the call. I however, I'm still yelping this pharmacy, as it has taken needless hours on my side to try to figure what medications she is on. Mater of fact, I'm still not sure. I live across country, and find it ridiculous in that we couldn't get the information any easier. Yes, I checked their website, but it is also somewhat confusing when you have a lot of drugs. My mom had been really sick, and her drugs have changed. We needed accurate records( at one time she was on 18,now 8....I don't want to risk a med error. In addition, the other complaint they could barely understand him, not clear English, great, and your dealing with older folks with hearing loss, even more chance of an error. Perhaps he should be a bit more understanding, patient, and clear. read more
