My review is for getting a PCR NAAT test done at this CVS Pharmacy. I never went inside the store, as all PCR tests are conducted at the drive-thru. If you have been reading along, I like drive-thrus, particularly during this pandemic. I must admit that this experience was my first time hitting a drive-thru at a pharmacy. I'm the type that likes to browse and shop at an actual drugstore. I signed up for a PCR test online. I found this CVS, which is less than a ten-minute drive from the hotel. It was easy signing up. I also got a text reminder the day before and an hour before my appointment. To re-enter the Canadian border from the States, I needed proof of a negative COVID-19 test. It must be a PCR test conducted within 72 hours of my departure date and time. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get my results from here, but I took a chance and went for it. There were two cars ahead of me at the drive-thru. My appointment was at 11:40 am. I got there early. When it was my turn, it was more like 11:50 am. Pretty good! I had a friendly woman from the pharmacy who found my information and appointment. Even though I am a non-resident, the state picks up the tab for my test. It has a mandate to make sure that everyone can get a COVID-19 test, which I appreciated. Before coming here, I had to watch a video on how to self-conduct this PCR test. She asked if I had watched it. I did. What happens is that you get a package with everything you need to perform this test in your car. It came to me through the slot between the pharmacy and me. I opened it, found the swab, and swabbed both nostrils. You then break off part of the swab and place the cotton part of it with a shorter stick in a sterile test tube. You seal the test tube, and then you place it in a sterile bag that has your information on it. Finally, you drop it off in a box attached to the building. Once you're done, you can leave! The process was straightforward. I was happy. CVS says that it takes between one to two days to get your results through e-mail. I got a text message after the Wild-Leafs game the following night at around 9 pm. So, I got my results in 1.5 days. Pretty good. I was happy with my negative result that allowed me to go home. I then retrieved my report online and took a screenshot. The report looked professional and was fine when I presented it at the airport to the Air Canada check-in agent. I will be getting my test done at this CVS again towards the end of my current trip. I am thankful for this service. My backup plan was to get this test done at the airport. The difference is that you must pay $200 there. Luckily, I didn't have to carry out my backup plan! (475) read more

The woman manager with gray hair was very rude to me and my friend . We were there to simply get some squishys. We saw an open box and figured they were up for grabs. She came over and yelled at us immediately and told us to put the stuff away because they were not on the shelf. We kindly said we were sorry and put them away. She angrily watched us put them away then stared at us the rest of the time we spent shopping. She later lied to an employee and claimed we flipped her off. Would not recommend coming if you are looking for a relaxed time shopping. Would not come back to this CVS location. read more

Terribly run pharmacy and the store itself is even worse. Finally had enough and transferred my rx out of there. Not sure the next pharmacy will be better but you literally couldn't pay me to walk into this store again or use their "drive thru" again. Please save yourself the headache if you're shopping for a new pharmacy and avoid this one. read more

After 4 years I am moving my prescriptions away from this location. Poorly run pharmacy. I was having surgery and my doctor sent in some prescriptions topick up the day before surgery. I got a VM saying my RX was ready for pick up. When I got there and stood in line for 10 minutes,I was told one of the 2 was out of stock and I had to call my doctor back because they couldn't transfer to another CVS as a narcotic! This was at 4:30 pm even though it was phoned in at 10 am and no one bothered to let me know this was OOS. There were 6 people working in the pharmacy but NO ONE was working the drive thru. The store itself is usually out of Over the ounter items, poorly stocked. The manager just stands there and watches everyone have to use self check out. I am done with them. This is the worst CVS I have ever gone to. I've had my prescriptions filled here for 2 years now and have finally admitted defeat. They NEVER answer the phone so when they call your doctor to ask for updates to a prescription, they claim the doctor respond; the fact is they never answer. The drive through is rarely open. When you go inside, they treat customers with disrespect and appear to be busy so you wait. While you wait, you witness them refusing to answer the calls coming in. Prescription pill counts are generally off. If you request a refill one day early, they put the prescription on hold in the app leaving you with only one option (because they won't answer the phone), you have to go the store and wait in line with everyone else who can't reach them by phone or the app. Find another CVS, this one is pure hell to deal with. just like most CVS locations these days, it is absolutely ridiculous. i went to the drive thru at 5:15pm, and the line seemingly was going pretty fast. i was the last one in the line and when i got to the window no one was there. i could see people doing whatever they were doing, while i sat there for over 10 minutes. the lady who pulled up behind me ended up leaving, and i followed her. it's crazy not a single person in the pharmacy has the decency to help customers or say "hey it will just be a minute, sorry for that". i have worked at a CVS in the front store before so this is not much of a surprise to me but come on!!! they need to be shut down or reported to corporate! read more

Just a horrible pharmacy. Couldn't even get a COVID/FLU shot due to staff shortages even though I had an appointment and showed up on time! I got tired of waiting and left. Walgreens took care of me. read more

10:00am appt at minute clinic scheduled in advance...they were behind schedule by half hour with lame excuse indicating they operate like an urgent care so some appointments run longer...then call yourselves urgent care vs "minute" clinic so people can plan accordingly. Absolutely worthless pharmacy. About 2 years ago, they changed my prescription to another manufacturer. I had a reaction to the new one, so we switched back to the old one. Now my file has a note in it to make sure they use the old manufacturer. 7 times in a row they screwed that up and gave me the wrong one. Today, they got that part right but they put 30 only 30 pills in the bottle instead of the 90 like it says on both the receipt and the bottle. Now I have been on hold for over 90 minutes waiting for someone to help me get this fixed. I'm done here. read more

I come here a lot to pick up prescriptions without a problem; the drive up window is super convenient. I developed cold-like symptoms one day, and decided to go to the minutes clinic as it was a weekend. I arrived at 12:00pm, and signed in as the appointment immediately after the practitioners lunch time, which was from 1-1:30. I waited until 1:30, when the practitioner had taken another patient instead of going on her lunch, which she announced she was doing at 1:30. I was annoyed, but thought "alright, I'll run over to kowalskis and grab something to eat." That was apparently the wrong decision, as I arrived back AT THE CLINIC AT EXACTLY 2...and she had already taken someone else in. I shot her a look of what must have been utter disdain, because she told me I could be next in line. I was not the only one having issues that day; a lady and her daughter did the same thing during the lunch break and came back only to find their appointments canceled. I was on hold for over 45 minutes trying to ask a question about availability for a medication just to be continuously hung up on without a word and on a couple other occasions told to to stay on hold without ever letting me get word in to let them know I had already been waiting. read more

Wow. I just had my first terrible interaction at any kind of store, here. I had used the photo app to print out some photos, and then received an email that my photos were ready. I go to the front and say that I'm here to pick up photos. Then the man at the register (store manager) lies to me that it doesn't work like that, through email. So, I pull out my email and accidentally clicked on the wrong email that stated "you'll receive an email when your order is ready". I was a little upset and said that I put my order in a few hours ago, and asked, "Is there anyway you can tell me when they will be ready?" And the guy goes, "I can probably push the order through." I then double check my email, and realized that I did receive an email stating my photos were already printed. While I was looking down, the man went straight to a packet on the counter that looked like it was ready, and grabbed it. He brought the packet to the register. I was pretty upset at this point that this guy lied to me, and then proceeded to say, "I thought you were going to go at it because I said they weren't printed yet!" Terrible interaction. read more

Do not give your phone number to CVS Pharmacy. I made this mistake and now they call me at least 4 times a day to remind me to get the medication refilled. The automated phone does not give me option to say no. It is so annoying and frustrating. I will never fill any of my prescriptions at CVS ever. They are unethical and it feels worst than dealing with a used car dealership or calls for pest control. Shame on CVS. read more

This is a typical CVS Pharmacy. It has a well-kept lobby and a large variety of merchandise. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is in the back and so is the examination rooms. The pricing, selection and layout are pretty standard for this type of business model, nothing new or unique for a patron CVS patron. read more

So we are from out of town and have been trying to get a prescription filled that CVS has been filling for the past 3 years in our home state of Virginia, but, this CVS cannot get the medication so they had to transfer the prescription to another CVS In Burnsville, but, the law does not allow a prescription to be transferred 2 times without a new script being written by the Doctor. So now we are waiting on the Doctor who is out of the office to write the script and fax back to CVS. All this could have been avoided if CVS in Eagan would have been honest when asked if they had the medication. read more

Please please please DO NOT use CVS for COVID testing! The process takes way to long, you have to do it yourself (potential for error) and results take longer than the incubation period thus allowing for the potential to continue infection. I'm on day 7 of waiting. No response to questions I submitted 3 days ago via email. Do all of society a favor and go to a true healthcare provider and get your testing done. Results will come back faster and for positives that is an absolute must. Waiting beyond 3 days does little to no good. read more

This pharmacy is just like any other Walgreens, Snyders, CVS, or other pharmacy I have ever been to. They have a lot of drugs, the good ones require a prescription. There is a Minute Clinic also, but the one time I used it there was a much longer wait than a minute. Due to convenience of the location I stop through here occasionally for quick items and it is normally a pretty fast visit. read more

I think I will never shop at CVS again there's really no need after the way I was treated by this person. There was no one at the cash registers apparently it's understaffed or something I don't know. While I was waiting I open my drink that I was going to buy and I drank a sip of my coffee drink. I waited and waited until someone showed up at the cash register to check me out and when he showed up he started casual conversation did I get everything I need so on and so forth. When he touched my drink I told him it was open and he said okay. Then he proceeded to bag everything after he checked me out and he spilled my drink on his pants and in the in the back after I told him it was open. Then he started telling me that I was a thief because I opened the drink even though I paid for it. I can't believe CVS hires people like this and as long as they do I'll never shop there. He spilled the drink and he got angry at me and he took his frustration out on me anyone in customer service and takes their frustration out on customers doesn't belong and customer service. And then to top it off he just went on to trigger trigger trigger trying trying to start and escalate the situation I asked to see his manager and he refused. He said he was the manager. I've been in Minneapolis two years and I haven't encountered this kind of treatment in customer service. I have encountered it in other cities but this is a very big surprise to see this here in Minneapolis. It's a shocker for me to believe that someone actually made this person to manager in customer service wow. Seriously, this pharmacy is a complete train wreck. They never have common medicines in stock -- you have to wait days before they are delivered. If you give them your number to text when your medicine is ready to pick up, they will call you just about every hour. I wish I could attach a screenshot I took of how many voicemails they left in one day because I never answered the phone. 10. They called and left 10 messages. Another issue is there is never ever any consistency in staff. I had been using the cvs is burnsville since they opened up until I moved to Eagan about 3 years ago. The same people still work at the cvs in Burnsville. The one in Eagan however constantly have different techs working, which makes it extremely difficult to build rapport and get to know who is filling your meds. There's a young man who is sometimes working there and he needs some serious customer service training! Just rude and has 0 compassion and not a care in the world. The actual pharmacist messed up one of my meds that I have to take 3 times per day to LIVE. I checked in a week before it was supposed to be filled to make sure I didn't have to contact my doctor for refills and if everything would go through. We set up a time for me to come in to pick up. I came in at the agreed time and low and behold the pharmacist refilled the WRONG PRESCRIPTION! This was on a Saturday so I had to wait until Monday to have it filled. I'd expect that from a pharmacist technician, but the pharmacist????!! This is the last straw. This place is garbage and they are over worked. I recently moved to Eagan and got my meds transferred to this establishment. They turned out to not have any of the stuff I needed and they said they'd Order it so it'd be in the next day and they gave me a partial in the meantime. Next day comes along and they still don't have what I need. They said on Monday since it was a Friday. I had to call back to back to try and get another partial. The tech who answered was rude but said he'd give me the last of what he had. When I went to go pick it up the same guy was rude to the person in front of me in line. But when they still didn't have my meds on the following Monday. I had to just get my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy but I hope I don't have to go back here again anytime soon. read more

Super friendly staff and very helpful! Always clean and shelves are kept stocked. The sales and extra bucks opportunities are great. The minute clinic can be a longer wait but usually much quicker when you just need a quick check for war infections or strep. The pharmacists are always helpful to provide advice and direction on medications... Both prescribed and OTC. Would definitely recommend this location for all your quick errand needs. From dog food to toilet paper to that child's birthday party you forgot about. They have what you need! read more
