I am having trouble getting my prescriptions filled more often than not. This time I called to check status on my prescription and it said it was ready for pickup and indicated it was the full amount I needed. I am presently getting ready to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy that is NOT Walgreens. Word to the Wise: if you continue to use Walgreens and they call you to come pick up your prescription, drop everything you're doing and get over there ASAP and pick it up before it's gone. You're unable to reach a pharmacist when you call and are forced to go thru an agonizingly long series of voice prompts before you must leave a message. You then have to wait for them to call back, IF they call back. Might be 10 minutes, an hour, two hours, might be the next day -who knows!!? The point is they make what would be a 4 minute task turn into an hours long event. I've taken my entire family's prescriptions from their "service" and gone to another provider.

I came an hour after it was sent and they said come back in 20 mins, so I went and picked up my pizzas I ordered at Punch across the street. Then I come back 40 mins later and the guy is like, "oh yea it's still in process, come back in like 30." I said, "There's no way, I was just here and she said come back in 20. It's been 50 mins." He said, "oh ok you've been here already just stay here and I'll work on it." Mind you, it's for an inhaler. I also ate my whole pizza while waiting. I'm not impressed and will definitely be calling their corporate office because what do you mean I have to wait this long and keep coming back? Ain't nobody got time for this.
