While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

Just as last…read moretime (two years ago), the pharmacy was grossly under-staffed and the line of patrons waiting were getting vocally and physically frustrated. It made for a very tense visit. Checking in for the shot took far longer than I should expect since I did all of it online prior (?). The person administering the shot was great though--very knowledgeable, personable, and fast. Walgreens, please hire some more capable associates to take care of your customers. The staff members you have seem overworked and frazzled.

This isn't the first time CVS hasn't refilled my prescriptions on time. They always blame the Doctor, the Insurance Co, or the patient-never themselves. I'm switching to Walgreens! I was standing in line, like a normal person, and when it was my turn to get to the pick-up window, the clerk, named Kelsy, asked with a rude tone if I had budged in front of all the people behind me, as though she didn't see me standing there for the last 10 min, she accused me of "budging" which made me go "really?" petty shit. Then Kelsy was generally rude while helping me, but made a point of being overly nice to everyone else. while I was waiting in line for those ten min, a clerk who had just finished a transaction, looked me in the eye and walked away, not saying, we'll help you soon, or acknowledging me in any way. I also had to wrestle with them to fill the prescription my doctor had already called in, I had a confirmation text, from CVS, about my medicine being ready and I had called the automated service and the electronic call line also stated my meds would be ready. finally, after a lot of conversations and issues, they told me to wait 10 min and they would fill it. while waiting for the pharmacy to fill the meds I sat in a red char next to the pharmacy. Suddenly a custodial with the personality of a bowling ball came stomping up and told me to get off the chair, she stated it wasn't for me to use??? wha? she stated it was only for people who want a corvid shot, there was no sign on the chair stating it was "reserved" so when I stood up and told her she should put a note on the chair to let everyone know it's just for covid vaccine customers ONLY the custodian angerly drug the chair away and placed it in the back. lol! The staff seemed to work harder not to fill my prescription compared to the effort they put into doing their job to fill medication. I have switched to Walgreens, and I will be advising all of my other friends who use 900 Nicollet Target CVS to do the same.

    I received a text and a voicemail from Walgreens stating that my prescription was ready for pickup…read more I drove 40 minutes across town--during another obligation--because this was the only location that had my medication in stock. When I arrived, there was one person in front of me at the pharmacy register. I waited patiently. As soon as that customer was finished, the pharmacy technician told me they were closing for lunch. I explained that I had just received a notification from Walgreens to pick up my prescription, and there was no mention in either message that the pharmacy would be closed between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. Her response? "It's Saturday," said with a dismissive tone, as if I was supposed to know their lunch schedule. Then, right in front of me, she shut the pharmacy gate in my face while two other staff stood aside doing nothing. Not a single person made an effort to help--despite Walgreens being the one to ask me to come pick up my prescription. This was my first time at this location--and will definitely be my last. If this is how Walgreens treats its customers, I'll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. It would've taken less than a minute to hand me my medication before closing. Instead, they chose to be rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.

And you're told they're ready and show up and have to wait 45 min because they are not ready. I have never successfully gotten any meds easily renewed here in a timely fashion and it's the only pharmacy near me somehow in this busy city. They make consistent refills impossible for medications I have been on for years it's crazy making.

    Absolute worst pharmacy ever and I haven't even got one med from them yet... first message said can…read morebe filled this day after they had received and tried to process them weeks ago and should have had correct date that insurance would fill and the day comes and they are like per our policy can be filled but insurance won't cover until 2 days later... then when I tried to get other meds that are available it will not let me get them same day and days Monday and it's Friday... then I ask to pick them up and they instruct how to do so... I select the time and put their address in and submit and it says there is an issue with the time... I message them asking to fill all meds that are available so I can pick them up and they fill 3 out of 7 for pickup... then I need a prior auth and my Dr is on it and this was Monday and she submitted the form and usually it's a day or 2 for it to be complete and it's Friday and still no update on if it has been complete and it's a med I cant go without and now I have been out and getting sick and they just say we will update you later... the other pharmacy I was at would have this done by now... I Left there due to how downhill the staff was and them being so rude but at least when a med was able to be filled I could submit it and they would have it ready early morning, also when rx were submitted even weeks prior it would have date available to be filled if it was too soon and would have it ready that day and not pull the oh it can be filled this day and when they say comes say oh no sorry you have to wait 2 more days... I was hoping this would be alot easier and delivery as my pharmacy was a drive but I am so frustrated I decided to pick mine up from capsules store front... I am so disappointed in this place and like I said I have yet to actually get anything from them and all I have had is issues... unfortunately I have refills on meda that can't be transferred and have to reach out to Dr for new rx, which is another inconvenience i shouldn't have to do since this place is incompetent and cant get their stuff together ... one other thing when they asked to give them an hour I gave them a time and they message back saying to give them even more time... I will be going back to the rude pharmacy I was going to forever when they were super great and nice for a long time and they aren't anymore but at least I knew when I could actually get my meds and not be given a date and then have it switched... this is super inconvenient and their location is horrible as it is downtown MPLS where parking is scarce... I wonder how bad the pickup will be... I would rather deal with Walgreens robot pharmacy staff then Capsule and will be transferring everything elsewhere and contacting Dr to have them and I go out of our way to send the rx that cant be transferred to yet another pharmacy... Also when I contacted them about the issues and my frustration they didnt even apologize and just ignored it... Casule is a Trash Pharmacy Don't even bother... Same day delivery is a lie also as I cant even get my meds which include my inhaler I absolutely need for 3 days... Well, it's back to getting treated like dirt at the previous pharmacy but at least I got my meds and knew when they would actually be ready and they would have them filled and ready for pickup when they were do if sent by Dr or even refill request was too early on the day they can be filled... BTW they say to contact them as they are always there which is another lie as they are not 24 hours and I know they open at 8 am but not sure when they close nor do I even care anymore... what a waste of time, effort, waiting for a response which takes about an hour and their lack of caring and lack of listening skills when they should've filled all my rx when I requested and not just a few of them... I know the person who referred me even had issues in the beginning but I am so fed up and wrote this review as it takes alot for me to write a negative review as I am usually pretty forgiving and understanding but this is mayhem and costing me money, time, effort and making me sick as they cant seem to figure out a prior auth... so thanks Capsule for screwing me and others over and lying about how you guys work... UPDATE: I PICKED UP WHICH WAS EASY AND THE ONLY GOOD THING AS THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND FAST... HOWEVER, they never bothered to tell me my prior auth was completed days before and claimed the dr office and insurance would contact me when no pharmacy has ever done that and notified me themselves that it was ready... I had expressed my complaints and concerns and I didnt even get an apology... on top of it I was shorted 3 pills and counted 10 times so someone dipped in... ill update again... iam so disgusted
