Good alternative to the chaos that is using Walgreens. Good customer service and friendly delivery folks. The app really needs improvements so that households can share it more easily. More frequent and more specific delivery windows, along with real-time delivery tracking like other apps, would also make Capsule better. read more

Absolute worst pharmacy ever and I haven't even got one med from them yet... first message said can be filled this day after they had received and tried to process them weeks ago and should have had correct date that insurance would fill and the day comes and they are like per our policy can be filled but insurance won't cover until 2 days later... then when I tried to get other meds that are available it will not let me get them same day and days Monday and it's Friday... then I ask to pick them up and they instruct how to do so... I select the time and put their address in and submit and it says there is an issue with the time... I message them asking to fill all meds that are available so I can pick them up and they fill 3 out of 7 for pickup... then I need a prior auth and my Dr is on it and this was Monday and she submitted the form and usually it's a day or 2 for it to be complete and it's Friday and still no update on if it has been complete and it's a med I cant go without and now I have been out and getting sick and they just say we will update you later... the other pharmacy I was at would have this done by now... I Left there due to how downhill the staff was and them being so rude but at least when a med was able to be filled I could submit it and they would have it ready early morning, also when rx were submitted even weeks prior it would have date available to be filled if it was too soon and would have it ready that day and not pull the oh it can be filled this day and when they say comes say oh no sorry you have to wait 2 more days... I was hoping this would be alot easier and delivery as my pharmacy was a drive but I am so frustrated I decided to pick mine up from capsules store front... I am so disappointed in this place and like I said I have yet to actually get anything from them and all I have had is issues... unfortunately I have refills on meda that can't be transferred and have to reach out to Dr for new rx, which is another inconvenience i shouldn't have to do since this place is incompetent and cant get their stuff together ... one other thing when they asked to give them an hour I gave them a time and they message back saying to give them even more time... I will be going back to the rude pharmacy I was going to forever when they were super great and nice for a long time and they aren't anymore but at least I knew when I could actually get my meds and not be given a date and then have it switched... this is super inconvenient and their location is horrible as it is downtown MPLS where parking is scarce... I wonder how bad the pickup will be... I would rather deal with Walgreens robot pharmacy staff then Capsule and will be transferring everything elsewhere and contacting Dr to have them and I go out of our way to send the rx that cant be transferred to yet another pharmacy... Also when I contacted them about the issues and my frustration they didnt even apologize and just ignored it... Casule is a Trash Pharmacy Don't even bother... Same day delivery is a lie also as I cant even get my meds which include my inhaler I absolutely need for 3 days... Well, it's back to getting treated like dirt at the previous pharmacy but at least I got my meds and knew when they would actually be ready and they would have them filled and ready for pickup when they were do if sent by Dr or even refill request was too early on the day they can be filled... BTW they say to contact them as they are always there which is another lie as they are not 24 hours and I know they open at 8 am but not sure when they close nor do I even care anymore... what a waste of time, effort, waiting for a response which takes about an hour and their lack of caring and lack of listening skills when they should've filled all my rx when I requested and not just a few of them... I know the person who referred me even had issues in the beginning but I am so fed up and wrote this review as it takes alot for me to write a negative review as I am usually pretty forgiving and understanding but this is mayhem and costing me money, time, effort and making me sick as they cant seem to figure out a prior auth... so thanks Capsule for screwing me and others over and lying about how you guys work... UPDATE: I PICKED UP WHICH WAS EASY AND THE ONLY GOOD THING AS THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND FAST... HOWEVER, they never bothered to tell me my prior auth was completed days before and claimed the dr office and insurance would contact me when no pharmacy has ever done that and notified me themselves that it was ready... I had expressed my complaints and concerns and I didnt even get an apology... on top of it I was shorted 3 pills and counted 10 times so someone dipped in... ill update again... iam so disgusted read more

After having several bad experiences with the pharmacies at some of the big chains near my house, we decided to give Capsule a try. Their customer service is excellent, they are helpful and get your questions answered and your prescriptions filled quickly. Before you know it the Capsule delivery person is at your door with your prescription. It is fantastic. One minor complaint is the ink on the labels on the bottles rubs off very quickly and I almost took my wife's medication once. Aside from that, I don't see myself going back to the big chains any time soon. read more

I used Capsule for the first time because my knee surgeon's practice partnered with it to provide medications to outpatient surgical patients before they leave the facility. It was nice, it was convenient. My big issue is that the medication labels do not say what the medication is for. "Take every four hours as needed" is not helpful when several medications have similar generic names. Is this one for pain or itching or constipation or anti-inflammatory? It's confusing and frustrating and I think does a disservice to patients. All other pharmacies add "for pain" etc to the label. This incomplete labeling is both a risk issue and a liability issue and really needs to be addressed. read more

The millennial in me found it life-altering to get prescriptions delivered for free from an app. It's wildly easy to use. When insurance issues arise, they pick up the phone to call my doctor and get it resolved right away. You can text or chat to get questions answered, though you are unlikely to talk to someone locally via phone. Drivers know the downtown area well, so they are among the few delivery people who don't get lost. The prescriptions come in cutely sealed environmentally-friendly packaging. I've only had one delivery that they couldn't fill as promised right away. I wasn't mad, though, because there was no hassle of going to the pharmacy and leaving empty-handed. I just got a notification apologizing for missing the delivery window and asking me to pick a delivery window for the following day. read more

The convenience of having your meds delivered is really awesome, however it is offset by how inconsistent the customer service is. Response time to questions ranges from a couple minutes to whole days - and that was after I asked for an update. They don't have some meds, which is inconvenient and frankly, sometimes I don't believe them when they say they tried ordering it from their wholesaler and it didn't come in. I think they just plain forgot or didn't get to it. read more

Had some issues with service but they worked hard to resolve them quickly.

I used to love Capsule, but for the last year their delivery has gotten more and more unreliable. On numerous occasions now, my delivery has not shown up. Sometimes for multiple days in a row, causing me to miss important doses. The worst part is they offer no workarounds - ie. ability to quickly transfer to a brick and mortar alternate pharmacy for a same-day fill, or proactive communication about their inability to fill and deliver on time. I have always had to be the one to reach out and figure out what's happening. If capsule worked the way they promised, and filled some of these major service gaps, they'd have 5 stars. Unfortunately they don't, and their inability to do what they say has a real (potentially dangerous) impact on people's health. If only they took that responsibility more seriously. read more

This pharmacy was so amazing and we recommended them to anyone who would listen. But unfortunately, we're telling people the opposite. The last order we made we had to wait for 2 days. My husband was without important meds until then because we couldn't get the pharmacy changed any sooner than the supposed delivery time slot. It was supposed to be delivered no later than 3pm on Sunday. When 4:00pm rolled around and not even a message was sent, I had to call. The person told me that my order was forgotten at the pharmacy and the location is now closed so we won't be able to do anything. They did nothing to try and make the delivery urgent or any easier for us. They said to either reschedule or come pick it up. We asked that if the issue wasn't because we weren't home, why can't we be made a priority delivery for next day? They didn't respond. They said someone would call me and help me out because none of the available delivery windows worked. It's now Wednesday afternoon and I again had to be the one to reach out. They are having the same attitude and now that I'm asking that the prescription be transferred, they're again not making it any easier on me. They want me to call the new pharmacy to have them call capsule to get it going. That's about an hour+ of wait time! I've already sent them the phone number and address. We will never be using this service again and will tell everyone that will listen to never use them either. read more

Capsule made it seamless to switch my prescriptions to them. They kept me informed about what was going on every step of the way, and got me my prescription within a few hours. read more
