Got what I needed which was a notebook. There was a bit of a line for checkout which seems typical for Walgreens. Whenever I shop at Walgreens at 7200 Cedar Lake Rd I have always have had wonderful shopping experience

I went to the Walgreens in SLP today to fill to pickup my prescriptions. I waited in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes. I rang the bell and no one came to the window, even though I could see them inside walking right past the window. Then I noticed the small sign on the window stating their lunch hour started at 1:30, which is what time it was. REALLY? After I waited in line for 20 minutes you just go to lunch and ignore me??? They could have at least come to the window and explained. Now I have to go back tonight to pick up my prescriptions. You can bet I'm going to be just as rude to them as they were to me. They obviously need a better system of cutting off the line at lunch time. Ignoring your customers is not the correct answer. I will be moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy, that knows a bit more about customer service. read more

Nothing against the actual pharmacists who work here, who do genuinely seem to be doing the best they can given shortages out of their control. Five stars for them. But ever since I've been coming here, the public facing areas have been visibly very overdue for a deep clean. Like I really don't get a good feeling about this being where sick people come for medicine. If it's this grimy where we can all see it, what's it look like in the back, where the food and beverage stock sits? read more

Update... 30 minutes in drive through line just to get meds. Employee went on break for 15 minutes as we sat at the window waiting to get my prescription. This place needs to shut down drive thru; and only service customers in the store, or shut down! read more

These people engage in false advertising. A sale was advertised on their marquee outside the store and they refused to honor it. The manager told me the sign was wrong and that I (the customer) needed to call Walgreens Corporate to get the sign fixed. read more

Yes, they're sometimes out of stock. BUT the pharmacy staff is outstanding. This is a heavily-used pharmacy, but they do their best to respond quickly and accurately. Always friendly; always anxious to do the best for customers. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is fabulous and if there is a wait, it's super short! Especially during these times of staffing shortages, I'm very grateful. As a caregiver to my invalid mom, they have been very prompt and thorough with med transfers from hospitals and Dr. communication regarding refills. I hear friends recount stories if two hour wait times at other pharmacies and just so grateful for this location! Thanks Walgreens in the park :) read more

For a pharmacy, I don't think you can ask for much more than this Walgreens. I've rarely waited in line for more than a minute or two. When you request for a refill online, they are usually very quick to be ready. Most of the people who work here are polite. read more

The lack of customer service, demeaning attitude and insult I experienced at this location today was surprising. I pride myself at being a professional and expect the same from any business where I spend my money. An employee by the name of Ariana refused to help me stating that she can't call one of their vendors even though the customer service agent from the vendor was on the phone asking to her to call them to make a change. The interesting part was when she asked me to go behind their counter and call myself and hung on them after they requested their agent location number stating they never did and I can do this by myself. The other assistant manager by the name of Dan told me they do not have a phone number for the vendor even though they do. I'll take my money somewhere else in the future. read more

What a disgrace... you walk in the front doors and the entryway carpet is worn out and stained. I went in to get a birthday card and gift card. I walked up to the check out where there were two young men. One on his phone while the other called me forward. I placed my two items on the counter and said, " I'd like 20.00 on the gift card". He started to try to ring it up and asked the other one, on the phone for help. The second one could not help either. He whispered for a manager over the radio but no one came. I said to forget that and just ring up the birthday card. I handed the young man a 20.00 bill and he stared at the cash drawer. He then ask the guy in the phone for change. I decided to just leave with nothing. What a waste of a trip. One guy on the phone and the other guy, with underwater hanging out could ring out either one of my purchases. The pharmacy was fine--good job guys! The store itself? 1) No workers or management wear masks. 2) The maskless boy at the register was watching tv on his phone while checking people out...possibly stoned out of his mind. He slipped his large bag of Oreos (that were on the counter with the drink he was working on) into my pile of stuff (100% on purpose). When I said: 'whoa up there'... oops sorry bout that. Oh my god. 3) When I tried to cancel the whole shebang, a maskless manager angrily approached and cleared it--didn't bother to ask what the problem was or if I found what I needed. This is a completely ridiculous storefront. When you walk in, one sales associate is in the front but sleeping on the counter; a frustrated customer asks for help with the photo machine (which doesn't work) and the sales associate states and says just click on the button. I went in because this store is supposed to be a participating store for FedEx drop off, and after 10 mins' wait, when another sales associate finally showed up from the back, I was told that they can't print out the label (while FedEx instruction said they can). What a waste of everyone's time and store front. In short, if you are looking to do label free FedEx dropoff or use the photo machine don't come here! read more

I kind of like all of the high school kids working here...but I wouldnt go back here again for photos. I don't think any of them have been trained on how to use the machines and I'm not sure that they know how to use whatever computer program alerts them to incoming orders. I've used other locations that have my order ready before I can even drive a few miles to pick it up, yet at this Walgreens it takes forever. Oh well. read more

Pharmacy is terrible. Horrible customer service. My doctor sent prescription but it expired; rather than assist with calling office they left it up to me. I called doctor and nurse pushed prescription immediately. Pharmacy was not busy but insisted it would take several hours to fill. Then pharmacy text said delayed due to insurance and I typically use my HSA card anyway. It's five days later no prescription. Its nearly impossible to communicate via chat or phone with them. The prescription was previously at Costco; I moving it back tomorrow. read more

This is my Walgreens: we're here every couple of days for prescriptions and over-the-counter meds, beauty, snacks, etc. The kids stop in for candy on the way home from middle school. It has what we need, pharmacy is usually accurate, workers are fine to friendly. read more

I absolutely hate Walgreens! No matter where I go they always want to rip you off. Their merchandise never scans properly to reflect the sale price, so if you aren't paying attention you get screwed & end up paying full price. They are also way too aggressive about their "Rewards Card". Who cares? It makes no difference anyway, so why would I give them my personal information? I think ppl hand out their personal information way too freely, look what happened with the " Target Data Breech"? Walgreens prices are way too inflated. I advise all women to go buy makeup somewhere else- anywhere else, but CVS, which is also a price gouging institution, just like Walgreens. Convenient location, reasonable prices. It's a fairly clean store, sometimes it can feel a little stuffy or unorganized... most of the time it's good. This location could be open later, or possibly even be a 24 hr store, I feel there is plenty of traffic for it to be profitable to them. I know I've tried going there many times and it was closed. I've heard rumors that it's open until 11 now, which would be awesome. Overall, I'm happy that this walgreens is there... good location! read more

I am pretty disgusted with Walgreens, but most of my beefs are with Walgreens in general. The main one specific to this location is that they are always out of anything on sale. ALWAYS. They're even out of common meds at times and won't tell you until you come to pick up your Rx that it's only partially filled. After reading a Yelp review of another Walgreens that shorted him on the number of pills, I suppose I should start counting them, too, from now on. I've asked store mgrs here why they're always out of everything, and the response is always that they have no control over the stock they're given. A couple of years ago, a former store mgr told me they could special-order anything, but apparently that's no longer true. Corporate HQ strikes again. I agree with another commenter who said that Walgreens often rings up the wrison/higher price. They always say it's "the computer's fault," but it sure happens a lot. So CHECK PRICES AT THE REGISTER to make sure you're getting sale prices. Then there is Walgreens coupon policy, which is now ridiculous. I am not good about remembering to bring coupons and used to be able to bring my receipt with the coupon after-the-fact (like the same week). Now? Forget it. This store refuse to honor coupons at ALL if you bring them after-the-fact, even if it's the same day. The only good thing I can say about this Walgreen's is that most of the staff are great, BUT I've noticed a high turnover. What does that say? This location used to have a $40-over cash limit, but that changed almost immediately to $20. Other locations vary widely; I know of one Walgreens that has a $100 cash-over limit. Why are we limited to $20? Because we're not Edina? Give me a break. Walgreens' slogan "The Corner of Happy and Healthy" should be the Corner of Miserly and Malevolent. read more
