Stopped for eyedrops. Store was nice and clean, transaction was quick. My husband opened the package to use them as he exited the store and instead of throwing the box in the trash, he threw away the eyedrops. He went back in a bought another box of eyedrops and perfected the trash the second time. read more

Nothing in particular stands out for this Walgreens. Most staff seemed pretty uninterested in greeting or talking or having any interaction with customers. The shelves seemed to be well organized but also kind of empty. The pharmacy here is much less busy than other Walgreens I've been to--the place was dead. The store is fine. The pharmacy is a pain. My wife was sick. Sick people don't look well. It was winter and she was bundled up. So, she went to pick up meds. She dropped off her prescription and waited forever. Finally, after an hour or more, she asked when her order would be filled. The pharmacist said that she thought my wife was homeless and just trying to stay warm so she wasn't going to say anything to her. (Apparently it would have been bad to ask if she could help, in case my wife was actually homeless?) Then, they couldn't find the prescription because there were so many other orders taken care of since my wife dropped it off. This is the most notable problem we have had here but we always encounter some problem. Maybe we are just unlucky but we have stopped trying to get meds here. read more

I went in to get a flu shot and was dismissed by a pharmacy worker with the statement "We only do them by appointment." She walked away and that was that. Wellll....the website says walk-ins are welcome. I surely wasn't welcomed. read more

We have always used the pharmacy in Cottage Grove because we lived there, so when we moved to Hastings it seemed the logical thing to move all of our prescriptions over to the closest store, expecting the same quality of service we've always enjoyed at our old store. Boy, were we disappointed. We knew it wasn't a 24 hour location but their operating hours are reasonable, so that never bothered us. However every single time we go to pick up medications at least half of our order isn't even ready, even if we show up several hours after our intended pickup time. We're very laid back people, so we didn't care too much about it and we were always cool coming by the next day to pick up our prescriptions. However, yesterday I went to pick up my athsma medication and they didn't have all of them ready, so I opted to leave them all for today even though the lady at the drive thru window assured me they could have them ready in 20 minutes. I figured I'd just leave them and pick them all up on the same day since I didn't desperately need any of them right away. Then today, I get into the drive thru and they STILL don't have the prescription that was missing yesterday and the lady again assures me that they could have it for me in 20 minutes, which begs the question "why didn't you get it figured out in 20 minutes yesterday so I'd have it today like you promised?" So I played for the two that were ready and told the girl to transfer the prescription to the CG store so I can pick it up tomorrow. But wait, that's not all! I have two inhalers and a bottle of pills for my asthma. The one rescue inhaler and the pills are both generic so they are easy to fill. The second inhaler is special for COPD and severe asthma symptoms and is sometimes tricky to come by. The whole time they were telling me that it was the special inhaler that they were waiting on and yet when I got home, one of the two bags has the special inhaler and the other has the rescue inhaler! So they couldn't figure out how to put 30 fucking generic common as dirt pills in a bottle over the course of two days! I'm moving all my family's scripts back to CG and never going back. read more

This is the ARMPIT of ALL Pharmacies! They always screw up your prescription refills. They never have enough on hand and always a bad attitude like it's your fault their incompetent! Stay away if you value your sanity! read more

Went to pick up my prescription today, and waited for almost 10 minutes without even seeing a single person. I am normally very patient, but with two little ones in the back seat (it's much easier for me to use the drive thru) I had decided I waited long enough, and pressed the call button. The woman (dark hair with shaved side and glasses) finally comes up and is automatically very impolite. After I shared my information she let me know that I could not pick up my prescription because of the timing with insurance. No big deal, I said that I'd pay out of pocket then. At this point she is just extremely rude and tells me I cannot pay out of pocket due to being on state insurance. Again, this is understandable and not her fault. But she continues to argue about why I would be picking up my prescription before scheduled, in a very unprofessional manner. She was very dismissive and snippy as though she was way too busy with their line of 0 customers inside.. I was appalled and by this point my kiddos were done with sitting in the car so I just left. I will be moving my future prescriptions to another pharmacy. I really hope that the management will begin investing in some employees with customer service because that woman's was ridiculous. read more
