Such a great place for gas and snacks and donuts and best of all smoothies without an attendant. I thought it was fascinating there's a smoothie machine that you make a smoothie from without anybody there and it mixes it right in front of you and there you are. And the prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms are clean and this chain is popular all over Wisconsin. They also sell some Fruits and veggies like garlic and tomatoes and bananas. The reason they don't get five stars is because for the food section there are not really any vegetarian options. This is very typical of the Midwest. Staff are friendly. read more

I have never really bought into the whole "buy local" fad but with Kwik Trip I will make an exception. They are based here in Wisconsin and have stores in 4 different states in the Midwest. Kwik Trip is owned by the Zietlow family from La Crosse WI they have been in the Convenience Store business since 1965. What I apreciate so much about Kwik Trip is the fact that many of the products they sell in the their stores come from their own facilities and even their own cows if you buy milk at their stores. They also produce ice cream, butter, cheese, and all their own bakery products such as donuts, and bread. They almost always have the best price on gas and other food. Their selection of hot dogs, pizza, and other sandwiches cannot be beat by anyone. The staff at KT is really a cut above the rest. They are always genuinely friendly and want to make your visit quick and efficient. Only downside to KT is their new policy of pushing their daily specials on people. It always seem like they have something new to push on customers. This is actually pretty common now days even our local grocery store will try to upsell me to what ever is the key product of the day. The Hudson location is actually my least favorite store. About 20 years ago it opened up as an AutoStop. About 4 years ago Kwik Trip bought it and started to change the store around. They really need to knock down a wall and make it a nice large store like so many of their other locations. Not worth knock more then one star off since I like the company so much. read more

Driving from Wisconsin to Minnesota, this is our last stop before we leave the state. Warning that it is always semi-crowded at the pumps but inside is always well stocked in drinks, warm food, sweets, and the ladies' bathroom usually have an open stall. I love their cheap snacks and eats. Usually a sale item of dollar goods like a corn dog or a rib sandwich. You may pile on the condiments. It is like any other Kwik Trips but I gave it a 4-star because as busy as it gets, the service is friendly and well maintained. While some believe this is located in Minnesota, it has Wisconsin-nice all over it. read more

Good old kwik trip! I gotta say, for a gas station, these guys are a pretty good place to buy some staples like milk, eggs and butter for cheaper than the grocery store (check out their crazy sales!). They always have a good selection of pizzas (ready to bake), yummy (and incredibly fattening) bakery items, hot and ready snacks, fresh fruit and plenty of drink options in the fountain and frig case. I rarely ever have to wait to check out. The staff are always very friendly (and usually quite cheerful). The bathrooms are usually pretty clean too which is a big deal for gas stations. If you are looking to get some gas, a snack, a drink and even a couple essentials, they are the best place to go. Some locations are better than others. This one is REALLY popular so getting gas can sometimes be hairy (and getting a car wash too). For an even better selection of food, no lines at the pump and a really nice new clean location, head on over to the Lake Elmo station north of 94 off Woodbury Drive. This is my favorite station. Lots of parking. Super clean and super nice. read more

Ditto below, this Kwik Trip IS a great gas station - the women's bathroom was clean and there were multiple stalls! You almost can't ask for more. ;) But there is more... Huge variety of fresh fruits and deli choices as well as soft drinks and slushies. They now serve hot pizzas for $4.99 - they were handing out samples and indeed, the thin crusts were quite tasty. And I *almost* bypassed this rest stop for the McDonald's next door (their restrooms are always reliable) while Chad got gas; I would have totally missed out. haha. read more

This Kwik Trip has the biggest food selection I've seen - aside from their normal hot sandwich/pizza/breadstick offerings they've also got soup and a condiment bar. The drink counter has a ton of options and there are baked good stacked up in huge piles. This location is crazy busy, likely due to being on the WI/MN border, but things moved along fairly quickly considering the line stretched literally halfway through the store. The bathroom was clean and stocked and everyone was friendly. It's a little ways off the highway, but not by much. I normally don't stop in Hudson since it's so close to the cities, but I'll keep it in mind if the time is right! read more

We stopped in our way home from visiting family in Minnesota. Filled the car with gas and went to start the trek home when our car wouldn't start! Dead battery...it's snowy and cold and having our car not start is not a great scenario. We went inside to ask for help when the store manager came forward with a smile and told us he would be happy to help. He went above and beyond and really was our hero! He couldn't of been nicer and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. He jumped our car and told us that was what Kwik Trip was all about...it's rare to find businesses with values like that...so refreshing. THANK YOU Kwik Trip!!!!!! read more

I have never been so impressed with a gas station before! I was on my way from Minnesota to Chicago and needed a bathroom break and some snacks for the road. They has fresh fruit- apples, bananas, oranges, peaches, etc, fat free vanilla cappachino among many other drink selections, and a great snack aisle with nuts, candies, trail mixes, etc. Also sandwiches, salads and so much more. I couldn't believe I could actually find healthy snacks at a gas station. And very inexpensive too! If I am ever roadtripping up there again I will definitely stop here again! read more

I do love a kwik trip and unfortunately for this location everyone else does too. Great deals on milk eggs fruit and more. They have great donuts and a different special everyday. The downside is this location is always packed and if you need a quick fill up it probably wont happen and you will wait in line read more

Fast employees, even when very busy the wait isn't very long. Quick pumps will maintained bathrooms and building. Friendly staff that recognizes customers and you always have my chocolate milk waiting for me to buy :-) read more

I'd recommend going down a few blocks and use a different station. The store is nice, but the pumps are busy and regularly broken.

I love this place, because it's the only place I can count on to always carry Faygo! Love coming here just for the Faygo.
