I don't expect much out of gas stations (I don't think many people do), so we were both kinda floored by how NICE the interior of this gas station was. Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. Next time I need a quick something, I may in fact prioritize Kwik Trip over say Holiday or Speedway. Also the employees working here were friendly and efficient. So even the help really seemed a step above the rest when it comes to gas stations. My kudos to them!

I really wanted to try it! Plus they have a promo where all sizes of icees are only 79 cents (before tax). The largest size here is 24 ounces. This location offered 5 different flavors of Icee (blue raspberry, cherry, Mountain Dew, tropical fusion & pineapple mango). I ended up mixing Blue Raspberry & pineapple mango! Very good. The tropical fusion wasn't working when I stopped in but sounds like a good flavor as well. Store for the most part looked clean, neat & fully stocked. Not much interaction with the staff. Gas prices were the same as anywhere else in the neighborhood (expect Sam Club, which is where I go for gas, usually about 10 cents cheaper). They do have a rewards program where you save a few cents per gallon which is nice.

You can get an entire meal ready to go. I've tried these and they are quite nice. And they're not horribly priced. They have a large assortment of specialty items from pastries to candy to Kowalski branded just about anything. The service is spotty. Sometimes it's good and sometimes not so good. Sometimes you can stand at The deli counter for what seems forever while people go back-and-forth ignoring you. Other times they're very helpful. The parking lot is not very big compared to other stores so parking can be a problem. It just depends what time of day you go. They have an attached but separate liquor store for wines and spirits. It is a very nice shopping experience and they do have a lot of wonderful specialty items you won't find anywhere else. However, be prepared to pay the price. They've been around for something like 50 years so they must be doing something right.
