My car was towed in to get looked at after it stopped starting on day's below freezing. A new…read morebattery was recently put in from Bobbie and Steves and since has had a hard time starting. I took it in to get looked at and they called me and said they were finished and the car could be picked up. When I arrived on the bill it said electrical problem 150.00 It was all under labor. I asked if they put any parts in and they said no. I went home and the next morning it wouldn't start. I called and the front desk didn't seem to know what they had done to the car, but said they would take another look at it if I got it towed in. I decided to take it to somewhere else. I want to know what code came up if they did a diagnostic or any info they had on "what" they did to the car. The guy on the phone cound'nt help me or figure out what they had done and they said the mechanic wasn't in and was not picking up the phone when they called him. He also told me the owner told him to charge me 150.00 for bringing it in. I still don't have any answers as to what they did and why I was charged 150.00!! Other places I have been have the ability to look up what was serviced, and it felt very unprofessional that no one at the shop could tell me what service was done to my car. As of now they are going to "call me back". when ever they get ahold of the mechanic or he calls back. So in any attempt I have not gotten any answers from this place and 150.00 in the hole.

Let me start here so you know I'm not a an unreasonable person or some "Karen". Myself and the…read morecompany I've been with (down the street) had used RMF for 9-10 years for services. Now, with their new management (Mr. K.) and the front desk Service Manager (Mrs. L.) they have lost our business and I would recommend anyone wanting a quote from them to run. They are what you fear most, being upsold every chance they can. You will work with 3-4 different people/mechanics all telling you something different. Here are the facts: I came in for my thermostat fan not turning off + noise in the front left of my truck. After "diagnosis" they "found" I needed a new oil pump, then it turned into they "found" I needed a new fuel pump. Once the work was completed, I realized my warranty was still active. Upon review of their diagnosis and old parts, the warranty company denied my claim. I then was told "Don't share pricing with them as I charged them more, to save money if covered" (Picture attached). This is fraud and is illegal. Their GM (Mr. K.) openly told me "we only added about $800 to the invoice we submitted to the warranty company". When meeting with (Mr. K.) I asked him what my invoice was at. He said "Well you don't need that differential tear down anymore, the mechanic was wrong, I drove it and it should just need front breaks and a wheel bearing." That would've been another $2300-$3k in work THAT I DID NOT NEED. All in all, new management does not put their customers first. They sell you on everything they can. As long as the front desk gal (L.) is there and the new GM is there (K.) good luck. They told me "we will be doing training so things like this don't happen again."
