Showed up today and was told my appointment was at 2:30, despite having two emails to the contrary. Bottom line, you have been warned. After my vehicle was inspected and work completed I am adding additional information to my post. I feel that their service/evaluation was thorough, and their communication throughout the process was exemplary. They are going to do follow up work on my brakes and I will see how that goes. I understand that anyone can have a bad day, and I think they deserve a second chance at a first impression based on how they handled the scheduling error, and their word-of-mouth reputation.

I took it in to get looked at and they called me and said they were finished and the car could be picked up. When I arrived on the bill it said electrical problem 150.00 It was all under labor. I asked if they put any parts in and they said no. I went home and the next morning it wouldn't start. I called and the front desk didn't seem to know what they had done to the car, but said they would take another look at it if I got it towed in. I decided to take it to somewhere else. I want to know what code came up if they did a diagnostic or any info they had on "what" they did to the car. The guy on the phone cound'nt help me or figure out what they had done and they said the mechanic wasn't in and was not picking up the phone when they called him. He also told me the owner told him to charge me 150.00 for bringing it in. I still don't have any answers as to what they did and why I was charged 150.00!! Other places I have been have the ability to look up what was serviced, and it felt very unprofessional that no one at the shop could tell me what service was done to my car. As of now they are going to "call me back". when ever they get ahold of the mechanic or he calls back. So in any attempt I have not gotten any answers from this place and 150.00 in the hole.

Called Lemon Squad and paid the $330. 2 hours later the inspection began. Results were in my email 36 hours later. Inspector did a thorough job and included 72 pictures including one if the code scanner results. They also measured the tread depth of each tire and included all findings in an easy to ready report. Lemon Squad saved me the disappointment of flying to Illinois in winter to pick up a sports car only to learn the tires were barely legal after the dealer ad and salesperson repeatedly assured me that everything on the car was mint. The dealership has since refused to replace the tires (3/32nds) or discount their price as they are selling the 2001 Corvette Z06 with 22,000 miles as-is. Thank you, Lemon Squad, for helping a guy out.

I found major brake vibration on my first drive, a significant oil leak, and power running board issues almost immediately after taking possession. Instead of explaining how these were missed, Lemon Squad just kept sending the same canned response about their inspection being "visual and non-invasive." I wasn't asking for a warranty--I was asking why obvious issues weren't caught. The customer service was just as disappointing as the inspection. I won't use them again. They could improve by not having canned responses such as it's visual and non invasive. In one of the photos you could zoom in and see cut wires. I diddnt catch it because I didn't think I needed to indirect the inspector's work. All in all it was a mistake ever trusting them! So yourself a favor and just look up local mechanics and ask them to go do it.

We stopped in to switch the 6 month old tires from the front to the rear and to get 2 new tires for the front. Service staff "refused to use the front tires at all because they were too badly worn" so we were faced with buying 4 tires. Because the front tires were only 6 months old we held off on the appointment and drove back to Firestone figuring they must have a warranty for those "bad" 6 month old tires. Firestone examined them and said there was NOTHING wrong with the front tires! We only needed the 2 back tires replaced that were few years older. How many other unnecessary "repairs" do they scam people with?! We have lost all trust in dealing with Tire Pros service personnel.
