Always greeted with a hello and a thank you. I left my card in the card reader the other day and the lady came running out to look for me which was really nice. They carry all your typical sundries and have some hot food, pizza and the bet garlic meat sticks in the little refrigerated area. Nice store with nice staff.

Firstly, the prices for items inside are astronomical. Laughable, actually. $4.19 for a small red bull is a crime. As is over $3.00 for a gas station burger. The lines inside are always long, too, and there are usually other staff members running around panicking about the line but TOTALLY NOT HOPPING ON A TILL. They also need to update to a digital EMV chip terminal. You have to sign a paper receipt here, which takes a long time especially considering the large concentration of confused elderly folks in line who want to buy lottery tickets on separate transactions. As for good: if I'm just getting gas and paying at the pump - awesome. The pizza inside is delicious and cheap. There are a couple friendly cashiers. Otherwise I'm merely a patron of convenience.

This is the style that you put your car in neutral, they spray your car ahead of time, you go through the wash, and they dry your car at the end. All while you sit in your car. Avoiding bad rust on our car has always been a top top priority in winter, and finding a thorough well priced car wash with a great staff was number one. I always start with Yelp reading many many many reviews 1-2 hours, going way back reading reviews for companies I like is essential. Yes a LOT of work but well worth it. I decided upon North Star Car Wash (about 25 minutes from home) because of the 12 reviews/ all 5 stars/ emphasis upon " great thorough hand wash" and "great value ( Deluxe wash $20)". 1.Right off 694 and not far from 35W. VERY easy commute. 2. Appears like a small family Hispanic operation of EXTREMELY hard hard fast thorough workers 3. Starts with a high pressure soap blaster handled by the female owner along with a fellow furiously scrubbing the car with a long handled soap dispensing 12 inch wide brush. 4. You remain in the car Neutral, and the top massive huge moving brush/ mop ( with wide thick fabric pieces) most thoroughly scrubs the car top and top sides ( rare in car washes) while side brushes simultaneously hit the car sides. Very GOOD scrub. 5. Next I liked the thorough rinse then the MANY powerful air blasters ( more than normal) drying the car 6. Two fellows at the end RAPIDLY and so thoroughly hand wiped the car dry. 7. I was MOST thrilled by the TOP quality rare beautiful wax shine on my car. With a black car, I have always always sought out top quality wax for my car. Very excellent!! The entire staff kept up a consistent very high level of intense energy/ super hard efforts working on my car. They definitely go home each night wiped out! GREAT GREAT job, truly excellent rare wash. I shall be a new intensely loyal customer for years to come!!

Upon a fine morn, I did venture forth with but a single purpose: to procure one grape--nay, not just any grape, but one most crisp and crunchy, like unto the first frost-kissed fruit of autumn's glory. Lost amidst the aisles of abundance, my spirit did begin to waver. Yet lo! There appeared a gallant youth, clad in the humble vestments of service--his name, as sung by the angels (or perhaps his nametag), was Zachary. With a smile bright as the morning sun and cheer as boundless as a spring meadow, this noble fellow did not mock my quest, strange though it was. Nay, he embraced it with mirth and honor, guiding me with great care through vineyard and produce till the chosen orb was found. Truly, Zachary is a steward of joy, a knight of customer service, and the grape--verily!--was as crunchy as mine heart did hope. Five stars, and may his smile never fade.

I really wanted to try it! Plus they have a promo where all sizes of icees are only 79 cents (before tax). The largest size here is 24 ounces. This location offered 5 different flavors of Icee (blue raspberry, cherry, Mountain Dew, tropical fusion & pineapple mango). I ended up mixing Blue Raspberry & pineapple mango! Very good. The tropical fusion wasn't working when I stopped in but sounds like a good flavor as well. Store for the most part looked clean, neat & fully stocked. Not much interaction with the staff. Gas prices were the same as anywhere else in the neighborhood (expect Sam Club, which is where I go for gas, usually about 10 cents cheaper). They do have a rewards program where you save a few cents per gallon which is nice.
