The store personally and product selection were excellent. My installation was awful. The…read moredelivery/install individual was a taciturn man, who appeared anxious to do as little as possible. This individual hooked up both machines and opened the door to leave, I pushed on the washer and observed that it was rocking on the mounting pads. I advised the installer that the machine was not level. His answer, "THAT is a heavy machine!". I agreed, but stated that he maybe should have brought a helper. Not willing to have him leave the machine for me to level; I helped him lift and adjust the leveling feet. After he left, I discovered that he had totally botched the dryer vent installation. There was an extending periscope type duct, that mounted to the machine vent, then went behind the machine and extended the vent to the top of the machine. This allowed for the machine to be placed closer to the wall. This cretin, loosely zip tied the flexible duct tubing to the machine, then zip tied the extendable vent tube to this tubing, then zip tied ceiling vent to top of periscope vent, and dropped the periscope vent in it's entirety, behind the machine. He then left, leaving the dryer about 8 inches from the wall, and without making the water connection for the steam dryer. At 76years old, I wrestled the machine away from the wall to correctly install the vent apparatus; the machine was then placed back into position. It now sits 3" from wall. It is almost level, but i cannot raise it to correctly level it. There is still NO water connection to the dryer. If i had known the installation would be so terrible, i would NOT have purchased the washer and dryer units.

We work, our children go to school we need to wash our clothes. This is bull crap. do not buy from this company if you want appliances that work, or the ones you actually buy. PROS: (1) Some of…read morethe deals are great. (2) 3 month warranty (3) Warranty actually works, at least for me. I've called, they came quickly. (4) They also repair for hire even if you didn't buy from them. CONS: (1) Prices not marked anywhere. You have to ask about the price for each and every unit on the floor. (2) Some units are overpriced. It's up to you to figure out whether the price is right. Help figuring: Figure a new appliance will last about 12 years. If it costs $500 new, that's $42 per year of life. So an appliance that's 7 years old should be worth 5 x $42 = $210. But the 7-year-old fridges I saw at 3PA that would be $500 new are priced around $300, and are all banged up, and come with only a 3mo. warranty vs. 1Y new. So, those fridges weren't a good deal, at least when I went, but the price on the range I bought was fantastic. YMMV.

Repair man said it was because it was tucked too close to the wall and melted t something/caused a short 2 weeks ago the dryer went out again, repair man said it was due to not cleaning lint trap (we clean lint trap all the time) he repaired,I PAID additional repair fee, it worked for 2 cycles, same problem. (Cost of repairs alone is already more than I paid for the dryer) I called and asked that they replace the dryer because clearly there was something else going on and I have already paid the cost of a replacement dryer. Manager said he would talk to the boss and they agreed to replace. After the delivery and replacement the delivery guy returns and says we owe $75 for the replacement. This wasn't told to us in advance and I had already paid more than enough to have a working dryer. Will not be using again. They had a repeat customer that would have continued using them. Job: Full System Replacement TL;DR: Prompt thorough service,…read morehigh-quality hardware, and competitive pricing. Review: Pre-Installation: As a former commercial electrician turned software engineer, I had been maintaining my aging HVAC system for years until it finally gave out. When I called and spoke with a technician, we quickly confirmed that I had done everything possible to extend the system's life. The condenser fan motor was experiencing hard starts and drawing over 100 amps on startup. I had already installed a hard start kit and replaced the capacitors, so there wasn't much left to do. We scheduled a full system replacement. Installation: I chose the American Standard 4-Ton SEER 15 unit--same manufacturer as my previous 33-year-old Trane. The crew arrived promptly at 9:05 AM and began with the outdoor condenser, which I appreciated since my wife and kids were still getting ready to leave. I work from home and checked in occasionally as the work progressed. During installation, the team discovered mold growth above the evaporator coils and offered to clean and seal the area with bleach and rubber sealant, which I really appreciated. They also added a disconnect at the outdoor condenser--something not included in the original quote. Throughout the process, they provided helpful insights into the latest improvements American Standard made to their units this year, optimal filter sizes to increase airflow and tips for maintaining the unit. By the afternoon, the installation was complete, and my home was livable again. They're not some big-box company that just does the bare minimum, they adapted to what issues arose from removing a unit decades old and made choices that would result in the best outcome for the customer. Summary: These guys go above and beyond and I couldn't recommend them enough.

I have used Frankie's Appliance Repair twice and have been more than pleased both times. The…read moreservice was quick and the repairmen very knowledgeable. Both times the repairman thoroughly checked out the appliance, not just where the problem area was. The first time my washing machine wouldn't stop beeping. Frankie told me it was a control panel (there are more than one!), which is what the web also told me. What the web didn't know was that if you do a reset, the beep often goes away. And it did! Sure, the control panel may eventually go out, but I'm not going to be out that expense until it does. Frankie could have just said I needed a new control panel and charged me much more to order and install it. That day's charge was just the normal service fee. The next time my dishwasher stopped working, the lights would not come on. This time it was Jerry who took the bottom panel off, found a loose wire and reconnected it, all in about 10 minutes. I asked him to leave the panel off while I vacuumed under the dishwasher and Jerry proceeded to vacuum it himself, using his screwdriver to access places I would not have been able to reach. Best part? I was charged a minimal discounted service fee. Fast service, expert repairmen, fair pricing - what more could you ask for?
