Stopped in here on a very warm humid day for a refreshing cup of fruit…read more Ordered the XL fruit cup with starfruit, watermelon, papaya, mango, pineapple and banana and it was sooooooooo good!!! The woman working was so helpful with picking the fruit and making a few changes for the kids, which we really appreciated The starfruit was a bit flavorless, but maybe that is how it is?? Never had it before so not sure I split the XL with hubs and it was way more than enough and only $15! We will be stopping by again when we are in the area

It was the perfect refreshing snack after snorkeling, with incredibly sweet and juicy star fruit, mango, papaya, dragon fruit, and pineapple. They have a great variety of other fruits as well, but I especially loved the local island fruits. You can really tell they care about quality--they don't skimp on the good stuff! They'll even let you know if certain fruits aren't at their best that day and recommend which ones are the freshest and most delicious. We loved it so much that we went back the next day, and she even gave us a guava to try! Such a sweet gesture and a great experience overall. If you're looking for fresh, juicy, high-quality local fruit, definitely check this place out. Highly recommend!

Want the luau food experience without paying for the actual luau show? This is a great option!…read more It's an outdoor restaurant, so definitely dress accordingly. If it's drizzling outside, you can bet you'll probably be drizzled on while eating your meal too! But the setting is beautiful, especially if you get a table around sunset--you can watch the sunset right from your seat. There are plenty of food options to choose from, along with lots of drink options. The restaurant sits right next to Old Lahaina Luau, so if you make a dinner reservation around luau time, you can even hear the luau going on next door. They had traditional Hawaiian food such as poi, lau lau, kalua, etc. Service was good as well. Overall, a fun way to enjoy some of the food and atmosphere without paying for the full luau experience!

Disappointing Experience - Overpriced for the Quality…read more I haven't been to Aloha Mixed Plate in years, and I was really looking forward to coming back. My family and I visit their sister restaurant, Star Noodle, quite often, so I was expecting the same level of quality. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We visited today at 1:15 PM, and I have to say I left pretty disappointed. The shoyu chicken was dry, and the overall food quality just didn't match the price. For a family of five, our bill came out to $178, including soft drinks. That's a lot of money for a casual plate lunch experience. What was also disappointing was being told by our server that they do not offer a kamaʻāina discount. As a local, it's always nice when businesses recognize and support the community that supports them. I understand we live in a tourist destination, but the prices should still reflect the quality of the food and overall experience. Unfortunately, Aloha Mixed Plate felt more like an overpriced tourist spot than the local favorite I remembered. At these prices, I honestly wouldn't even recommend it to visitors. My recommendation? Save your money and head to Star Noodle instead. We go there often, and the quality and experience have been much more consistent. I really wanted to enjoy coming back, but sadly, this visit was a letdown. 3 stars.

Nick was friendly, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job teaching us about the tropical plants and fruits grown on the farm. We learned a lot and appreciated how informative and engaging the tour was. The tour ended with a tropical fruit tasting, and the fruit was incredibly fresh, juicy, and sweet. It was one of our favorite parts of the experience. Feeding the alpacas was also a lot of fun, and our kids absolutely loved it. The farm also has zip lines and giant inflatable bouncing balls, so there is plenty to keep families entertained. Definitely worth checking out.

He started with some farm history and then he took us to see the alpacas. They were so cute and friendly. We all got to feed them and pet them. Next was the tour of the farm. He walked us through the many plants and fruits that grow on the property. For some we got to feel or taste them as he told interesting and funny stories. After our tour, he took us to a beautiful lookout with tables where we experienced a huge plate of tropical fruits and a glass of dragon fruit lemonade. It was all refreshing and delicious. This is a great experience and I highly recommend it.

So nice we had to come twice! My wife and I visited Maui on our honeymoon and saw so many great…read morereviews about sale Pepe so we decided to try it out. We got a reservation on the 2nd night of our trip and loved it so much that we came back on the 3rd night lol. Here's what we ordered: Focaccia (2x): May be one of our most favorite appetizer breads we've ever had, so delicious and warm with just the right amount of salt on top. The view of the puffed up focaccia is a reason to order in itself. Pair with the Caprese stracciatella! Caprese stracciatella (2x): A different take on traditional Caprese but was delicious, the mozzarella curds worked so well with the tomatoes. Everything was fresh and we loved using as a dip with the foacaccia. Calabrese piccante (1x): I ordered this the first night and it was great! The dough that they use is a game changer and would recommend any of their pizzas simply to try their dough. It is very close to the focaccia and we highly recommend. The Calabrese is pretty spicy, just a heads up. Alfredo tagliatelle (1x): *not pictured* My wife ordered this the first night but was not a huge fan. The Alfredo was more buttery than creamy and just wasn't super memorable. Bufala margherita (1x): My wife ordered this the second night and loved it! The dough was amazing and the buffalo cheese made such a difference. She did not that it could have used a pinch of salt on top but otherwise was delicious Lasagna (1x): I almost didn't order this the second night because I was going to split a pizza but thought to myself, "When in Rome.." This truly was one of the best lasagnas I've ever had, I'm so glad I changed my mind and got it. The pasta was fresh with the cheese and beef. It was so good! Would recommend to anyone and everyone who comes, my favorite dish out of all of them. Overall, a great vibe and great food. Servers were all nice and even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne for our honeymoon. Will be back if we are ever on Maui again!

We were there for happy hour, and had the following: Sweet potato taco - I've never had one in my 69 years, and it won't be my last. The texture of the purple chunks of sweet potato was different, but wonderful. Fish taco - the fish and slaw filling was superb Birria taco - my favorite, with moist birria meat that filled the tortilla Southwest salad - made with romaine (and not organic greens) was excellent. Order a side of dressing, and chicken to make it a full meal. The tacos are street-size but filling, and the beer is cold! Out the door (with tip) for $50, which is a real bargain in Maui. The server (Dan) was friendly, and quick to point out the 3 levels of heat with the hot sauce...the mango habanero should only be used by the adventurous... You're across the street from the water, but ask to be sat outside on the patio - a cool vibe

I'm from South East Asian descent (and we eat a lot of coconut in our food) and I lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Possibly my standards were higher. Fish tacos were standard with delicious pineapple slaw! I love how the fish isn't battered. Fried Brussels Caesar barely had any Brussels sprouts. The amount of Brussels felt like another type of croutons were added to a salad. Coconut crusted mahi.... I really wanted to like it but couldn't understand why this would be so popular. It's definitely unique with coconut rice and shaved coconut. But I still don't really taste coconut. Got the toast for dessert, not bad! Coconut jam with is pretty good. Reminds me a little of an upscale Kaya toast. Overall, this place isn't phenomenal as some reviews mention. They must have really delicious drinks with their coconut foam, we just had water. Service felt cringey and felt like he wanted to upsell us. He was around to check if we needed anything. Asked a weird question if we were from the Hyatt or Marriott, could have asked us where we were from. This would have been 3 stars however our kids loved having the keiki room, had a blast looking for toys. They had crayons, coloring paper, and a keiki menu as well. The keiki had toys that toddlers to10 years old were into.
