I thought I wrote a review last year when I got my car ceramic coated but I guess I forgot--bear…read morewith me. A couple of years ago, I had a mishap in my previous car where some tubeless tire sealant from a bicycle exploded onto my headliner: white latex-y substance dried on the black headliner. After searching the reviews, I set up an appointment with Joey. He took one look at my car and was like I won't be able to get that out. He could have left it at that but he offered me a detailer protip which worked out very well. Didn't charge me a thing. I knew he was an honest guy from that exchange. I bought a new car a few months later in 2024 so I knew that I wanted Joey to ceramic coat it. I chose the mid-tier Ceramic Pro package. The price was fine and totally in line with other detailers on Oahu. Set up the appointment by sending a message on his website. Joey responded promptly. Super easy. On the day of the appointment, I dropped off my car. Since he needed it for the day, I told him I'd just drop it off while I take the rail back to my side of town. He gave me a ride to the station. It was awesome. Later that day, he says the car is ready but I couldn't make it back that day so I picked it up the next morning. It looked mint. Very sleek, slippery to touch so I knew hydrophobic properties of the ceramic were good. In order to maintain the warranty for Ceramic Pro, you have to do annual follow up sort of maintenance details/washes. That's what I did today in Aug 2025. I contacted Joey and set up an appointment. I dropped off the car and he said he'd be done in 1.5-2hrs. He finished in an hour. The car looks great. Zero complaints. Joey is a solid detailer. The maintenance detail was priced decently for Oahu. No issues there either. I asked if he could do a quick vacuum on the interior which he obliged w/ the cleaning of my weathertech floor mats! He said he topped off the ceramic coating but, to be honest, I can't tell. The car feels slippery to the touch but it always does when clean. The ceramic pro brand ceramic coating held up really well after a year. PROTIP FOR THOSE WHO WILL DROP OFF THEIR CAR AND UBER BACK: Joey *had* a location in Ewa Gentry that still pops up as the *first* search result in the Uber app, so make sure you select the Kapolei location. May seem like a no brainer but I made that mistake TWO TIMES.

It was a two day job to have my car paint corrected, detailed and ceramic coated. After dropping off the car, I knew it was in good hands. A deposit is needed to schedule an appointment. I was absolutely blown away by the results when I came to pick up the car. I didn't think a freshly detailed white car could be so bright. Although my car was brand new off the lot, there were a few surface rust and blemishes from the factory and after a full detailing, it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. No more scratches or swirl marks, and the rust that I thought were permanent. The attention to detail on the exterior was superb. On top of the fantastic results, Dj was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything they were going to do. The pricing was fair for the quality of work, and I really felt like I got great value for my money. Dj also went over the after care to ensure the ceramic coatings longevity and the products he recommends. If you're looking for a detailing service that will make your car look better than new, I highly recommend Legacy Auto Aesthetics. I'll definitely be coming back for all my future vehicles.

After looking on Yelp and seeing the positive review, I called Lux's and Washington was able to fit me in the same week. Weekends are busy for him but he had a helper show up just after lunchtime on a Friday and that person worked till nearly 800 pm that night! Washington oversaw the work and probably spent over 3 hours himself. At first I thought it was a bit pricey for an interior clean and detailing, and an exterior wash, including cleaning off the engine a bit, but after considering the total number of hours they put in, I think they certainly earned their money and did a great job. Very satisfied with the cleaning, and attention to details. Even my domestic inspector (wife ;) was impressed. So overall, a friendly , professional service and people who cares that they do a good job for the customer. Keep up the great work Lux's !
