I've had the pleasure of enjoying Street Dogz at several local festivals, including recently at the Haggen Family 4th and also last fall at Chuckanut Brewery's Oktoberfest celebration. These guys make a quality, classic hot dog - big or small, with or without fixin's, they use quality franks, fresh buns, and have a nice variety of condiments and acoutrements to jazz up my weiner. And the icing on the hot dog is their friendly, fast service and super reasonable prices! Watch for these guys at the next festival and save room for lunch!

Although I didn't claim the $5,000 grand prize we stayed a few hours to enjoy the festivities. Tons of activities for kids, they have their very own "Kid street' complete with music, fitness demos, games. For adults, it was the car show (disorganized) the beer garden and a decent rock cover band as well as all the greasy food you'd expect at a street fair. Vendor booths were "meh." I did get some car insurance info and a free coffee card to Woods.The best was the Lipsence booth and color sampling. Who doesn't want a lipgloss that lasts 18 hours!

I ordered their basic smash, which was just $10 (a screaming deal in today's economy). I did pay for quite the generous $4 side of fries, too. It was allll so good. The smash burger was dripping with cheesy goodness, and the shoestring-style fries were perfectly crispy, salty, and a lovely accompaniment to the burger (and my Oktoberfest beer). I will most definitely be returning soon and trying one of their other burger options. They also have chicken burgers!

They are new, and they are likely still ironing out kinks...take this with a grain of salt. The food truck takes a little while, and we didn't get any food till around 4:30. They're new, ok, sure. I haven't had Spam Musubi since I was in Hilo in 2017. The rice was hard and tasted like it was undercooked, and it was cold. The spam was THIN and there wasn't a lot of flavor. However, the sauce they served it with was tasty. Could use more spice, but pretty good. We got the LocoMoco and the Chicken Katsu. It is NOT your typical Japanese or Filipino style katsu, it's a little overfried, but at least the rice was better. The LocoMoco is something you'd find for Hawaiian breakfast - egg, marinated beef patty, rice, gravy. It was a fairly chilly evening so I would assume that's why it was a bit cold, but otherwise it's ok. Whatever you order from them, be patient. Ask for the hot water sauce, and give them a berak since they're new. I look forward to trying them again this summer, so that I can write a proper review once they have it all figured out!
