It's a fairly large restaurant with an inviting atrium foyer and a beautiful old live Ficus tree to greet you. The decor is a bit dated but it's pristine, no torn upholstery or ripped carpet. It looks brand new and it's sparkling clean. I love it already. The ambiance is casual and calm. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We had the gyro plate and calamari appetizer. Best gyro ever! It was huge. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The calamari was also excellent, tender and crispy at the same time. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. We'll be back!

It's clearly a family-run spot, and you can feel the care in every detail. The atrium dining area is lovely--so full of natural light, it makes the whole experience feel warm and inviting. Yes, the decor is a bit dated, but that only adds to the charm. What really stood out to me was how spotlessly clean everything was. The food was fresh and delicious--classic Greek flavors, well-prepared, and served with that kind of quiet confidence that only comes from decades of experience. Prices were right in line with other Bellingham lunch spots. Can't wait to come back with my husband!

First, the couscous is not the usual couscous we've all had. This is Lebanese couscous, which is so different as to be unrecognizable as "couscous". It is so very good, I could have a whole meal of that and be happy. I generally prefer baked falafels, but this fried one was great; crispy on the outside, and soft and green on the inside. I've avoided dolma in the past, as I had it once years ago and it was terrible. But this dolma was good enough for me to stop avoiding it in the future. People were very nice, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It's a grocery store with a deep selection of many items, such as spices, pastas, canned fish, .... (see photos). I enjoyed this enough, I came back again about a week later for another Sampler Plate meal. My only slight peeves are, I wish there were a bit more to the salad (which isn't even listed as one of the sampler items, so a bit hard to complain!), and that the pita had some whole grains in it (I find white wheat boring).

On the Saturday night that my boyfriend and I stopped in, it was empty with exception to one gentleman picking up an order. Upon being seated and given a menu, I could already determine that we'd be disappointed in our meals. The menu selection is rather large and the prices seem high. If a restaurant has a lot of options, it's safe to assume that they don't specialize in anything and everything is likely mediocre. As a vegetarian, the options are not exciting. The fettuccine Alfredo was not very good. I don't consider myself an accomplished cook, but my homemade Alfredo sauce definitely has more flavor. I'd rather make my own again rather than pay ~$19 for this massive plate of disappointment. On the positive, service was really good. We were seated immediately upon entering and received attentive service throughout dinner. I believe that the server was called Barb. At one point, she cautiously asked us if everything was okay, made it seem as though she might be used to disappointed diners. The dining room appears clean and mostly maintained. Napkin jammed under a nearby table, but no noted mystery stains. Menus could use a cleaning. Bathroom is kind of clean, but the floors felt sticky all over. Very peculiar. In conclusion, Dimitri's has been marked off my list of restaurants to visit and moved to the list of no return.

Hands down worst Greek food I've ever purchased and thrown away after one bite. Lamb was likely cooked six months prior and frozen until they used it on my order. It's was horrific at best. The inside of the establishment looks like it hasn't been touched in 35 years. It wasn't clean or in great condition. Not a great dining atmosphere. Will not try this one again.

On this particular occasion, I ordered my meal online and just dropped in to pick it up. It was ready when I arrived. The meal was exactly the same as if I had picked it up in Bellevue, WA, or Davenport, IA. Prices feel a little high but I think that's just the state of dining "out" these days. Overall, a positive experience.

I wanted to add more protein so I paid $1.19 extra for egg whites thinking that would be in addition to the "folded scrambled egg" that was already included in the sandwich. I also wanted to add some arugula and tomatoes to bulk up my sandwich, but they were out of stock at this location. My order status in the app said ready for about 5 minutes, but I didn't find it on the shelf. I did eventually spot my order sitting in the service window, but I didn't want to be rude or enter a restricted area to grab it so I sat there awkwardly until the cashier was free. I had ordered a drink as well and had to request my cup because apparently they don't include that in your pick up order. My sandwich came with two tiny slices of ham and the thinnest layer of egg white I've ever seen. No scrambled egg. There was an adequate amount of cheese but the sandwich was mostly bread which I probably should've expected so nice it's Panera bread. Id rather have saved some money on a premade packaged microwaved breakfast sandwich from Starbucks that comes with twice the ingredients. I waited in the line again to request the folded egg and the cashier was very professional and accommodating but breakfast had ended while I was waiting in line, and they had already gotten rid of all the eggs. They did offer me a pastry or some extra meat which I appreciated. There was only one person working the counter so maybe there was a staffing issue today. The experience would've been improved with better staffing especially while they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch. lesson learned: breakfast at Panera is a miss. Also, if you place an order for pickup that includes a self service drink, be aware that you will still need to wait in line to request a cup. So placing a pick up order online isn't a more efficient way of ordering and your food is probably getting cold while you're waiting in line for your cup. The locations ambience was very clean, cool, and bright inside. The back room that used to be a safe was probably 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the restaurant and felt great!
