And the Tule burrito? Seriously, it's like an explosion of flavors in your mouth. It's packed, satisfying, and definitely worth it for the portion size alone. One thing you absolutely have to try is their chicken tortilla soup. It's loaded with rice, chicken, cheese, and more so comforting and honestly one of the best I've ever had. On top of the amazing food, the customer service has always been great. Friendly, consistent, and welcoming every single visit. If you're in downtown Bellingham, you need to check this place out!

Let me start with.. I love taco and burrito trucks! I go out of my way for it!…read more Tacos el Tule was at Beach Cat - south paw on a Monday. I got 2 Tule Burritos with Asada, a soft taco, and a hard taco. Flavor was decent, but there was hardly any meat. Lots of filler in the burrito, but honestly.. if I wanted a veggie burrito I would have ordered it. Customer service was meh, and they charge a dollar more for using a card vs cash. Plus side.. I was able to get enough salsa for my burrito I will definitely give it another try, and hope for the best the next time around .

Learned they make their own corn tortilla chips in house, they are my favourite as it has more of a bite and a solid crunch compare to the more popular flakey tortillas. The lady in the front was super nice and very informative this last visit. Barbacoa and Pasteur was on the menu this time, both overflowing with meat and fillings. Always bring your containers as I had to pack them to go. Those little things of having salsa in a squeeze bottle rather than rationed out in tiny sauce cups makes dining at La Gloria's enjoyable.

For whatever reason 80% of the team gravitated towards BBQ and I followed suit. And to say I wasn't disappointed would be an understatement. My athletes wiped out the Brisket and while the wait was only going to be 10 minutes, I went with a combo of Brisket and Country Fried Chicken. While I picked up some sauces to try, and they were awesome, I quickly realized they weren't needed as the brisket was basically melting as I picked it up with my fork, and while country fried chicken isent what i planned on getting at BBQ food truck, it was amazingly seasoned and tender. Also, I feel absolutely horrible for not catching his name but the guy who was taking orders, cooking, running food out to people, while also having some great banter with my athletes made it a great experience on top of great food.

The highlight is that it has a drive thru. Voice box was broken, but ordering at the window is a non-issue. Also, I haven't interacted with people in Bellingham that made me feel more comfortable. There was none of that PNW famous passive aloofness to them. Direct, honest, and letting the food be smug on its own. It's always great to see such great food from humble and down to earth people. They were thankful for the business and accommodating to ensure I was okay with everything along the way. I felt like I had pulled up to a backyard party and was being directed straight to the food to serve myself. Now for the star of the show... the Birria. Holy cow. Perfectly made with all expected flavors present. Tacos had the right color, and their consome was hot and delicious. It was a perfect dish to enjoy with another person. I split 2 horchatas, a carne asada burrito, and the birria tacos with a friend at the Barkley Village tables and found that to be more than enough food. Perfect for a lunch in the shade. Rest assured, I will be back. Frequently. Much to the chagrin of my waistline...
