Came here on a busy weekday night and had to wait 30 mins to be seated. Since there was only one server, it took a bit longer for the tables to be cleared. Our server was great and she did her best to make sure that we were taken care of. The food itself was subpar and inconsistent. My friend ordered burnt ends and they were completely dry and hard to chew whereas the ones we ordered were fine! The brisket was also pretty dry and definitely needed extra bbq sauce. The potato salad was very creamy and the brussel sprouts were great! However the price and quality of the food is what brings my rating down. Parking: Free, limited spaces (small lot out front)

2 meat plate with brisket and brisket burnt ends. Sides are the elote corn, fries. Cornbread is part of the meal.

We came to Mt Baker for the weekend and there aren't that many options around. But we found gunners and it was ok?? I got the two meat plate with brisket, brisket burnt ends with fries and elote corn as my sides. The plate also comes with a cornbread. The brisket burnt ends is just brisket in thick cubes. The brisket is kind of dry and not as tender as other brisket I've had. But the cornbread was not that sweet and crumbly. I liked it. The elote corn was also delicious. So overall, not bad considering where it is!!

Charro beans (excellent), Brussels (excellent), chipotle chicken (meh), burnt ends (very dry)

We are from the south so we are BBQ snobs but this was super dry (all the bbq). Sides were good though. We had charro beans, very good, Mac n cheese good, Brussels good.

Really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich--tender, flavorful, and piled high on a soft bun. The mac and cheese could've used a bit more seasoning. Overall, a tasty meal I'd come back for!

We stopped here after hiking. My partner and I ordered a meat plate with two sides and a two-meat plate with two sides. I got to try their brisket, pulled pork, pork spare ribs, charro beans, baked potato salad, elote, and onion rings. The meat had good flavors, but the brisket was a bit dry, so I highly recommend using their sauces. I especially liked the spare ribs; they were tender and flavorful. The onion rings were really good--crispy without the onions inside being over-fried, so the onions stayed succulent. I enjoyed the baked potato salad, though the elote could use more seasoning. Overall, it's a great stop after hiking for a refueling meal.

BBQ restaurant in the little town of Glacier, along the road into Artist Point/Mt. Baker. Has a regular seating in the main room, some high tops in the smaller room with the bar, and also some outdoors seating. Pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon as tired hikers, cyclists etc. were driving out of the mountains. Small menu of some drinks, starters, sides, and barbecued meat plates, sandwiches, and tacos. I got the one meat plate with the pork spare ribs. The plate comes with choice of two sides and cornbread. I got two meaty spareribs. Meat has a the decent smokey flavor. Firm texture but not chewy at all, and bone comes off easily. There's a choice of three BBQ sauces on the table to sauce up the ribs. The cornbread is muffin shaped, and tasted like normal cornbread. As for the sides, I got the mac'n cheese, which was cheesy enough. Also got the elote, which is a whole cob of corn with a lot of cheese, seasoning and cilantro on top. Super flavorful, and the ears of corn come off the cob pretty easily. The corn was my favorite thing from the plate. Price was $18 for the plate before tax and tips, which was reasonable for the portion. Good place to stop for food after a day out hiking near Mt. Baker.

BBQ after a hike in the Baker area is an amazing thing. This BBQ was the real deal for sure, truly smoked and the sides were good but I've had better brisket and ribs, they were a bit dry but not so much where I wouldn't come back. During our visit our server was good but I witnessed an incident with another table that made me question if one of the other staff should really be talking to customers at all... let's leave it at that and just hope that labour is tight in this area andor someone's relative was hired as a favour. We'd visit again. Get the elote!

Very good food near Mt Baker in the town of glacier, all meals are based around bbq meats which is done exceptionally well. We tried the chicken tacos, chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese. All dishes tasted great and quantity was filling. Even though the place was full with limited servers, the service was fast and the only server did amazing to keep the place running.

Took a trip to Mt. Baker for the weekend with some friends and decided to stop here. Pretty good food, we got tacos and the smash burger and it was delicious! The margaritas were good as well! Service was good, everything came out fairly quickly

The best BBQ in Eastern Whatcom, hands down. I recommend the elote as a sideand the taco varieties as the entrée

This rating is really more about the food than anything. I Wasn't aware that ownership/something…read morechanged here as I was last here in July. The menu has shrunk, which honestly, I'm not mad at, it helps lower costs and makes it more manageable for the restaurant. So I get it. The hard part is that the veggie focused meals were not good and lacked a lot. Ordered to the king salad which promised seasonal veggies added... but nope, it was just kale, cabbage, carrots, sunflower seeds and blue cheese. Sort of looked like a bag salad mix. Will say that the dressing was yummy but if I'm gonna go out and order a salad I want it to have it be something I can't easily do at home. Also ordered the loaded veggie bowl. This turned out to be a similar mix to the salad- think of like a bagged stir fry mix of kale, cabbage and carrots sliced topped on a heaping pile of white rice. This meal also promised fresh veggies but the only addition we found was a bit of zucchini sprinkled In. Idk about yall but when I order a "loaded veggie bowl" I expect more. They gave us tons of rice so seems like they knew they needed to compensate for the lack of veggies. I guess the restaurant is trying to go a healthy route, which is cool but it also needs to be tasty. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but these "veggie focused" meals, are not really that, so it just ends up being disappointing. If you shrink your menu, that usually means you're doing so to ensure that the quality increases with a more limited menu. Not the case here. If you do come here, order the smash burger. It was solid. Only complaint is that it came with a really small side of fries.
