    Milk teas on deck!

Yep, 5 stars as I'm truly a fan of Kurabi Bubble Tea! There are so many great things on the menu, the restaurant is clean and giving a minimalistic take on take Japanese Kawaii AKA the 'cute' culture trend. -- I like it! There are games, wall art, and stuffed animals and pillows sprinkled throughout. Cuteness aside, the tea is REALLY good! I like the option of sweetness customizations and various add-ins. Also, as a milk tea snob, I can sniff out the use of cheap ingredients in a heartbeat. (You know when drinks have that weird aftertaste? --bleh!) I had one taste of their Jasmine tea (30% sweetness) and knew they were the real deal. Hubs loves their chocolate milk tea at 30% sweetness, add tapioca boba. I, personally, hold the boba as textures in my drinks weird me out for some reason. I'm either drinking OR I'm chewing, not both. Finally, I appreciate that they have a loyalty reward program in place. You can earn free drinks or half-off drinks for signing up! As a Floridian transplant, I'm SO happy that Mobile has Kurabi. I'm not even missing my favorite spot in Jax. Cheers!

I had very high hopes for this place after reading so many amazing reviews, but unfortunately it just didn't live up to the hype for me. All my drinks today, both milk-based and tea-based, were made by combining water and powders. I didn't see any real ingredients, not even actual tea, go into any of the drinks I ordered; I ordered four. The boba was extremely overcooked and mushy. Thank goodness I only ordered one of my drinks with boba. 3 stars for cuteness level and the option to customize the sugar content. Aside from that, the customer service and product quality were lacking.

Yes, we're back again! I absolutely love this place and their reward system. Occasionally, I'll get emails for percentage off coupons and even $5 off of purchase for my birthday. So today's visit, I was able to redeem my birthday $5 off and my free drink with up to 2 toppings. My to go drink everytime: large Kurabi Milk Tea (House MT) with topical and egg pudding The free drink was achieved from earning 10 points on their reward system. You earn 1 point per $3.40 purchase. So it took me from October 2018 to December 2019 to earn my free drink. Since I don't live in Mobile. But literally everytime I visit Mobile, I would stop by Kurabi. Stop by to try this place out if you haven't already.

Kurabi Bubble Tea is a new bubble tea joint in mobile, I've visited all the bubble tea / smoothie shops around the area and this particularly caught my eye to visit because of the inviting decor, which is different compared to others. I liked that you are able to tweak the sugar level of the drinks since I prefer a less sweet taste, so that's a plus. They also offer free tasting in some of their flavors so that can help you decide which one your heart pleases! Overall, experience was good, I'll definitely be back, the owner was really friendly as well and customer service oriented. He asked us if the drinks were well suit to our liking and to let him know of any additional suggestions we have. Check this new place out if you're around town, another alternative to a Starbucks hangout since they have free wi-fi and a super cute atmosphere!

Seeing this is Mobile Alabama and this is the only place that out right advertises themselves as a boba place, I did not have high expectations. I am very happy I was wrong. The two people working were very friendly. Their menu is very basic but I have a feeling they do it well. I got a dragonfruit green tea half sweet. It is just right. I will be back often.

One of my go to spots for some boba fix since it's closer to home and one of the best in the area , in my opinion . Pretty consistent which is always good . My personal fave is avocado smoothie .

Game shelves -- numerous choices of boardgames

I used to like hanging out at Kurabi when they first opened. It's very nice and chill. Good spot if you want to hangout with friends because they have board games and card games you can use for free! They also have free wifi if you need to study but some nights there are game tournaments happening and it gets so loud. They have lots of drink flavors to choose from and you can also customize the sugar level of your drink! If you're unsure which one to get, they have free taste of certain flavors :) They have numerous add-ins too but I just always get the tapioca pearls. They also have some goodies you can munch on. Taking one star off because the store had been crazy (see picture attached). It's full of different stuff which makes the store look so messy. I wish they can clear things out or at least hide it behind the game shelf. Nonetheless, it's still a great spot for boba. The crews are friendly and patient with my indecisiveness (I know, it's embarrassing haha) Try it when you get a chance!

As I walked in to Kurabi Bubble Tea, I noticed just how unique the store is and so different from most stores in the area. I love that they have tons of games to play and it's a really inviting atmosphere that you can just sit and chill with friends and family. I asked the associate for a low sugar option and ended up getting the Taro Almond drink. It was SO GOOD that I think I sucked it down in less than 3 minutes. That's embarrassing but true. Their menu is extensive so I am eager to go try other options - but I will definitely be back soon!

I cannot believe they had so many different flavors! I have never in my life seen so many different flavors of bubble tea in one place. It's like heaven. I wish they could move the entire store right beside my house so that I could go there anytime I wanted. Great customer service as well.

The inside was nice. Very nice staff. Order the green apple smooth. It was pretty tart.

I stopped in this bubble milk tea shop after a long afternoon of shopping when in desperate need of a pick me up. The atmosphere was great! I particularly enjoyed the various bubble tea pillows and pieces of artwork strewn throughout the shop. The staff was very friendly and quick! I went with the standard Kurabi Bubble Tea, with which I was delighted! The most exciting part was that the sugar level is customizable. I frequently find myself asking for less sweet versions of bubble milk tea at other facilities simply because they are too sweet, but this place offers most of their drinks at reduced sugar rates. On the recommendation of the barista, I went with 30% sugar and it was perfect! Will definitely return when in the area!

Anyway for some reason they were on my mind and I decided to drop by. When I walked in there 2 customers who were waiting for their order. I looked at the menu and as always if there are various options I get overwhelmed. This is not a bad thing but I was hungry so I tried to make a quick decision. I went with the house combination sandwich. Why? I believe the main reason because it had pork in it. I really have no idea. I don't really see too many restaurants have pork sandwiches. I mean there are ham sandwiches but that seems different. Anywho, I also ordered fries and a coke. I wish there was a combo meal option but that's not the issue at hand. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This was a plus because I didn't have worry about being away from my work computer too long. When I got home the first thing I noticed were the fries were very hot. I mean so hot I didn't have touch them to find out. The box was on fire almost. They also provided ketchup packets. The fries were hot and delicious and not too salty. They had a real crunch that I like on my crinkle cut fries. Now the sandwich was a perfect complement to the fries. It was so delicious. I don't have the name of the greens we're on the salad but I'm pretty sure they're used in a lot of Asian dishes that I've had before. The carrots added a little crunch to the sandwich as well. Now the meat part of the sandwich was glorious. The pork and other meats were blended so well with the spices that it created a very glorious taste. It was so good. 5 stars.

However when we arrive we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant, and we were RUSHED! The worker kept coming to the table asking us "ready yet. Ready yet??" Every few minutes. She then stood there and said "okay tell me what you want" when we were clearly still looking through the menu. Then she asked us "how long do you plan to stay!?" Like, hunny we are the ONLY ones in here. And it seems our patronage isn't appreciated We stayed for maybe 40-50mins total. And the one worker NEVER refilled our water once. We were also not very impressed with the flavors of our food. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL inside, but honestly I probably won't return because it just wasn't an enjoyable experience. (Of note around 8:15 a couple came in and were turned away by her because "it's too late for the kitchen to make new meals". Then about 8:30 a single man came in, and waited in a chair as his meal was made! --maybe he called it in idk but it was very strange to observe)

If I had to complain about anything, I guess there could have been a few more shrimp. But still a really satisfying dinner

I saw Poke Bowl Sushi Burrito & Boba while driving home one day after a doctor's appointment. I…read morehadn't tried poke before but something about the signage made me want to stop. I guess it had to be the long title. So many food choices in one name. Whatever it was the next time I had a chance I would order takeout from there. So last night I did exactly that. Not having poke before I didn't know what to get. I quickly studied the online menu and decide to create my own poke bowl. I did the 2 protein option and went with fried chicken and shrimp. I added a variety of vegetables which included red cabbage, red onion, corn, edamame, cucumber, and sushi rice. To top it off I got an order of fried gyoza. They look exactly like potstickers. Spoiler alert. They are potstickers. I had to look it up. After I called my order in it didn't take long to get a notification that my food was ready. I went to pick up my food. There weren't many people in the restaurant when I got there around 7. I had no indication whether Poke Bowl was a popular spot or not but I hoped I was pleased with the meal. The car ride home usually gives me some sense of what I might experience when eating my food. Of course, I'm talking about the aroma of a freshly prepared meal. But as I learned a little before I wrote this, that wasn't going to happen here. Poke is a meal usually presented cold and uses raw meat for the majority of the dishes like sushi. Anyway, let's get to the meal. The gyoza and poke bowl delicious. As I looked at my bowl I could see the fried chicken but not the shrimp. I also didn't see the poke spices or eel sauce that ordered with my meal. Did they forget those details? No, they did not. The shrimp, spices, and eel sauce were under the top layer of the bowl mixed in with the sushi rice. I have to say the bowl was delicious but it was even more delicious when my food was mixed all together. When the rice, meat, sauce, and vegetables met the taste was at a peak. As for the the fried gyoza it was delicious as well. These potstickers are by the best I've tried. And the sauce was excellent as well. I give Poke Bowl Sushi Burrito & Boba 5 stars. I had no real expectation of what the food would taste like. It made me want to go back to try another meal. That's what a great restaurant is supposed to do.
