Finally, a Kung Fu Tea in my area. I fell in love with this place in San Antonio and yearned for a new place close to home. -Atmosphere- 3/5 The place is really small. Almost TOO small. The building that they got used to be a Cricket Wireless shop. There's really only enough space for two or three groups of friends to gather there. The shop itself always smells clean when I go there. The aesthetic of Kung Fu Tea is great. I like the minimalist design and wall decals. -Service- 5/5 The staff is really cool! I've befriended a few of them and they only have positive things to say about their job. A few of them used to work at The Teahouse, but after the temporary closure, they migrated to KFT. They like it a LOT better. They're all pretty friendly and give actual recommendations based on their own likes! -Drinks- 5/5 So far, I haven't really been let down by any of the drinks I've had. Then again, I've made sure to stay away from certain flavors such as passion fruit and strawberry. The quality of the drinks has been pretty consistent overall. Drinks I've gotten up til the time of this review: Kung Fu Milk Tea Mango Green Tea Orange Green Tea Lychee Punch/Black Tea Sunshine Pineapple Tea Out of the drinks I've gotten, my favorites are the KF Milk Tea and Mango Green Tea. This place is consistently the best Kung Fu Tea besides the original location in Chinatown. They always cook the tapioca perfectly! The staff is super friendly, parking is easy and you can grab Thai Spice right in the same spot! Boba & Thai food, perfect combo for a weeknight dinner! I definitely come back. read more

I was a huge fan - until several times I would get there and they would be out of flavors like mango, strawberry, or pineapple. Then one time they were out of tapioca. Youre a tea house. 3 times is a charm...4 is my bad I don't understand why I keep coming to this place but it was my last time. I think I wanted to give them a chance but this was it and I had enough. EVERY time I ask for the vegan option they offer me their protein powder that has powder milk ... that's not Vegan!!! They seem no not understand what vegan is and knowledge is a must. Not only that...it's been many times I have asked and suggested to have coconut or almond milk option and they give me a "smirky" look. Take your money to the one by HEB which is 2-3 min away and you'll see the difference, font just accept what they have...get what you really want. Added to this, I've heard they run out of ingredients whilst waiting for my daughter to complete her order. I'm in love with the winter melon milk tea!!! The Thai milk tea is good as well. I like the atmosphere and it is nice and clean.

To start off with, I am not lactose intolerant. Having said that, after drinking tea from here I can say that it has made me extremely bloated, and I definitely think its the actual ingredients they use for the milk which throws the drink off. I do not recommend this place. Overpriced for low quality I usually do not have much to say about a food/drink place because I remain neutral. Out of all the tea places near clear lake, this is my favorite. I've come here multiple times & every time my drink was good & quality control was the same, compared to competitors in the area. The bubble selection is good & I love the herbal & fig jelly. My favorite drink is the wintermelon tea with herbal jelly. The only thing I don't like about this place is that it echoes loudly inside & the rewards system requires you to add money to your account. Wish they had a punch card system instead. read more

They do not have almond milk or coconut milk as a milk replacement. Came here a few years ago asking for the same thing & its disappointing to see they still haven't got something as simple as that. I was surprised to hear that a Kung Fu Tea opened up near the bay area and I just had to check it out. The interior is very nice and simple with workers giving 100% in customer satisfaction. The downside of the place is that the drinks are really sweet compared to the one down in Bellaire. That will be one of the things to look out for when ordering, but other than that I believe this will be my go to boba place whenever I'm in the area. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff and management are extremely kind and their drinks are always on point! I will say though that they use lactaid milk and dairy free powered milk so if you stomach can't handle that I suggest getting something that isn't milk based. I have been to most of the KFT spots around Houston and they are all relatively the same as far as quality. This location is no different and you can expect good service and quality. I got the oolong milk tea and like most people have mentioned it is a little more on the sweet side, but still good. I tend to like my drinks a little more sweet so it works out for me. The boba is surprisingly good for only been open a couple of months. Sometimes it takes the employees some time to figure out how to make them but here they were very good and had the right amount of softness and chewiness to them. This young Asian lady with blonde hair was giving us attitudes the moment we walked up the counter to order. It is a really nice place to meet up with friends, have a quality tea, and catch up on whats been going on. Favorite go to milk tea location. The staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions on mixing different teas together or giving their honest opinion.
