Kung, dumb, and full of boba

Most other places don't know how to DO TEA Tastes so bad it makes you say, SCREW TEA Some boba is awful, makes you wanna BOO TEA But that'll change when you try Kung FU TEA When you taste this one, you'll see you never KNEW TEA Finding the Lemon Black has really been a COUP TEA If you wanna be a Playmate, this can be your HUGH TEA That's why you have to come straight to Kung FU TEA WHAT Located near relatives houses in New Caney, which is a good 25 or so miles N-NE of Houston right along Hwy 59 aka I-69. We were delighted to see a Kung Fu Tea open up right in New Caney next to 2 major hwys (Grand Parkway also passes this point). It may be one of the locations which is owned by the same guy that owns the Chinatown one - I'm not sure. I'll let you know once I know. But there's literally no good boba this far out, so it's wonderful for the community all the way up here to now have an excellent, spacious, nicely designed and very friendly KFT here. I like it better than the Woodlands location. Kung Fu TEA It's great for ME I stop by here for a drink or THREE Keep coming BACK For Lemon BLACK Feel so addicted maybe they use CRACK I'm not SURE But it tastes so PURE Bobaddiction is my sickness and there is no CURE So I'll get the BOBA And then I'll go OVER To Barbie's hotel room so I can DISROBE HER Anyway, enough about the perfect Barbie You better get your ass to K - F - T This location is friendly, and didn't mind serving me 15 mins before closing which I really appreciated. The milk teas at KFT don't really do it for me, they're different, but not awful, however the fruit drinks are great, especially when you get them with black tea, which they might adjust for you if you bat your lashes. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! The Lemon Black Tea is the best Like Barbie's shoes or her fake breast It tastes like a dream And can make Barbie cream This boba is better than the rest So instead of showing your crack And being asked to please stop coming back Go to Kung Fu Tea And drink boba with me And I'll share my fave drink: Lemon Black.

If you're new to boba tea, most of you Will gravitate to kung fu tea. Kung fu tea is an entry level shop, the drinks are simple, the atmosphere is cartoonish and the employees are not your typical employees. It's a safe bet and not intimidating to order. Most seasoned tea drinking who are familiar with boba, know the legit shops are run by Asians. Fast paced, in your face and the best boba you can get. The boba is cooked perfect, the flavor is complex. For you Texans it's like if someone went to some basic bbq joint not knowing in a few years they would be ordering brisket moist or lean. To truly understand all that goes into making some delicious bbq. The same goes for boba. If you are basic and ok with subpar employees, not knowledgeable in all things boba then this is your place. There is a reason kung fu tea does not exist in Asian areas(Alhambra, little Saigon,etc..), and if they did they would surely close down within a year or two. Don't worry, there will come a time to put on your big boy pants and head over to a more authentic tea shop. Until then, stay basic.

    Cocoa Cream/Original Wow

Big boba fan but was sadly disappointed. We have been going to kung fu tea for about 2 years and have enjoyed our drinks every time except for this time. We went to the New Caney location and was disappointed on how our cocoa cream wow tasted. It simply tasted like plain milk. For the price we pay we get 2 medium size drinks for about $13 due to the high price the drinks should taste better for the amount we pay.

It's an okay place for tea/tapioca drinks. I personally never venture too far from the drink I always get (Mango Green Tea). There's occasionally younger people in here playing board games or hanging out/studying. The staff is normally very polite with little interaction outside of ordering. They have online ordering as well. I'd recommend it overall.

    Thai Milk Tea

I was recommended by a friend to try Kung Fu Tea but was very disappointed. I am a huge bubble tea fan and had high hopes for a new tea place. I purchased the Thai milk tea and matcha milk tea and was shocked by how bitter it was. Also, the tapioca pearls were extremely squishy (overcooked) with no flavor at all. The service was great and the place is very nice but it's not worth the price.

Went in today and got 2 macarons. They are lovely in appearance so I was excited. Birthday cake and peppermint. They were so HARD and dry. The birthday cake did have a good taste but the texture was awful and it took actual force to bite into. The peppermint one was not only hard and dry but nasty. At $2.50 a piece I was really disappointed.

Absolutely loved it ! I was clueless on what I wanted to order but the cashier in front was so kind and made great suggestions, took her Time explaining and everything! (: I got the Taro milk tea and I loved it ! I highly recommend to check this place out ! I'm already excited for my next visit !

One of my favorite tea places. I had the something call cream wow. It was delicious. The tea and the boba tasted so fresh. You can even smell the fresh tea in the air at the shop. They also have the Macaroons birthday cake flavor is also my fav. 5 stars for me!!!

Today was horrible. The Johnny's Halloween was a big disappointment. No Thai tea from what I…read morecould tell. Just Ube and all the Oreos that are supposed to be at the bottom were all stuck to the wall of the cup instead. The owner said the Ube dissolves the Thai tea after a while. I live half a mile away and it took only three minutes to arrive after placing my order. So no way I believe that story. Also my kid went in to retrieve the drink and she couldn't get it from the servers so I had to go in and get it. 3 of them there. Not a single one helping her in an empty store. Unfortunate seeing as there was no parking and that's why my kid went in to get it while I was waiting in the car. The owner says they asked her if she needed help but she was on her phone. Well my daughter was only on her phone because she was texting me because not a single person helped her. They said nothing to her like they claim. Total lies. If this is the kind of service we're now getting I won't be coming back and it's a shame that the owner doesn't take more pride in their shop.

My first visit here was okay... just okay. The young lady at…read morethe front didn't seem like she's ever worked at a tea/boba shop before and when I asked her what she recommended she didn't really give me a good idea. I also asked her what she thought of the mango sago drink and I doubt she's ever tried it by what she even said. Anywho. That's what I ordered. The mango sago drink and my husband ordered a basic taro slush. Both pretty basic drinks. There was no wow factor in either.
