I have to reduce my rating from 5 star to 2 stars after multiple incorrect orders over 2 years. Staff is very kind and accommodating but the slushes are either missing ingredients or are not made with ice as they separate quickly and are warm after a few mins. Also, my drink was incorrectly made on Sunday. Wrong flavor slush and missing boba, I called the store Sunday to state that I would like a replacement on Monday. I had pictures of the incorrect drink. They would not remake the drink in the original large size I paid for. Instead, they gave me a medium sized replacement slush which tasted funny, separated and did not have any ice after a few mins. Staff was kind but they were super slow. Two drinks took 10 minutes to make, but having worked in a boba shop before...the two drinks should only take 2-3 minutes. The place is also just run down, seems overall clean but disorganized and selling random things (selling used books for $10+). The boba is undercooked and something was off about the taro tea.... This is the worst KFT I've been to. It's small and dreary, and the drinks are mediocre. It's so unfortunate because I've been to really good KFT shops. The KFTs in Rochester Hills and Southfield have a TKK Fried Chicken shop where you can find some of the best fried chicken in the area. I hope new ownership takes over because Canton deserves to have better KFT representation with a TKK Fried Chicken shop. read more

Ordered a kung fu tea with Oreos on top and a mango slush with boba bubbles in it. It's a clean spot for the most part. There was a woman speaking rather loudly about a mix up in drinks and a drink that was mistakenly taken by someone else. The woman brought it back but the customer when requested asked a new drink be made since the other customer had taken it it her car and brought it back into the shop. The kung fu tea was out first. The mango slush was out a bit later. The mango slush is good, there's mango jelly and bobas in it, it's all quite refreshing. The kung fu milk tea isn't bad, tastes strange and a bit off to my husband. It tastes odd to me. read more

I will say I was gonna give it 3 stars but the customer service was excellent. The gentleman was very patient in explaining the different options to us. I ordered the Taro with pudding. I think the pudding made it taste odd. We also ordered their speciality drink which was a Minion 2 tone drink. That drink was very good until the flavors mixed in together. I have tried another location before and didn't like it. I decided to try it again and I must say they need to work on their flavors. The drinks seem like they came out of pre made bubble tea packets. It doesn't give me the bang for my buck. I think there are ither tea places way better. read more

Unreliable individual store of what is otherwise a franchise that I like. They don't seem to be all that familiar with what goes in the drinks and left a main ingredient out of our two drinks. After driving away we called and talked with a worker who said she knew nothing about it (knows nothing about the drinks, really?) and then the manager. He said it didn't come with that ingredient until we asked him to read the description on the menu. Maybe they will "do something for us" the next time we come in, which is fine and the typical solution for errors like this, but there are lots of other drink places around that we would prefer to go to and probably won't go back. read more

Just recently got milk tea with grass jelly here and strawberry yogurt drink. It was disgusting. The grass jelly was soft and had a weird taste, probably went bad or something. *COVID19 Edition* I was a little concerned when I saw the low reviews, but otherwise, my visit here went as well as I could have expected. I ordered through the app and my two drinks were ready when I arrived. It seemed like there were quite a few people training, and my only qualm was that the employee awkwardly didn't realize I'd need a bag until I pointed it out. Our bubble teas tasted as expected. Otherwise, it looked like everyone was taking appropriate COVID19 precautions and were wearing their masks correctly. So far, it seems like the place is going through the standard growing pains. I'll visit again some time soon, and we'll see if they can keep up their good days. read more

Poorly managed, they blamed a missed order on the customer saying that the app didn't send it, even though we saw it on their screen because they showed us...and didn't even apologize for the delay. Zero hospitality, tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they failed each time. Plus, the tapioca pearls are ALWAYS hard, and their grass jelly is CHEWY - grass jelly is most definitely not supposed to be chewy. Owners are impersonating customers and creating fake profiles and writing fake reviews under the same name on their Google reviews page. Just look through some of them, they'll have two of the same name and then one is a positive review that is poorly written, and then the actual review that is realistic. read more

I generally love the Kung Fu Chain. I frequent the Novi, MI location and the Albuquerque, NM and both are excellent. So I was excited to see this location so close to home instead of doing the drive to Novi. Very unimpressed. Boba was awful. In this day and age where there are so many boba places (Ding is my favorite so far in Canton), I'll have a hard time convincing myself to come back. I've only gone once but I think once is enough. I asked for a brown sugar boba milk tea, which I feel is pretty standard at most places, tasted burnt and the boba was definitely undercooked. No wonder the place was empty. This is one of my favorite places to get boba! I've tried many other places but none of them compare to the experience and boba I have had here. Back when they had the Fruits Basket special drinks, I had a great experience talking to the lady taking my order and she explained the drinks very thoroughly, especially when I personally did not know much about them. I enjoyed the anime itself and decided to give this place a try because they had drinks about it. After my first experience, I've come back multiple times and never had a bad experience. I've tried many different drinks, one of my favorites being the Taro Slush with Oreos blended in. If you don't like sugary drinks, you can adjust how much sugar you want in your drink. If you would like less sugar you can tell them a percentage such as 50% sugar and it will still be pretty good. Staff has always been nice and patient! read more

They are still quite new so I don't know if they're still learning the ropes but I was left underwhelmed on my last few visits. Each time, I have ordered ahead using the app but two or three times I was left waiting so long after the estimated time that it would've been faster if I just came in and ordered. On two occasions, the boba was undercooked. Instead of being soft and chewy, the insides of the bubbles were hard to chew and chalky? almost. With so many other bubble tea options nearby, I hope they're able to work out their kinks. read more

I just went today and had an awful experience. They won't take orders over the phone, only through the app. I don't want to have to install another app on my phone just to get some bubble tea, which means it forces me to go into the store to order and wait. There were about 5 employees standing behind the counter, not sure doing what. The person who took my order didn't know the menu, didn't ask me if I wanted boba or sugar levels adjusted, etc. I had to repeat my order multiple times I was told after I paid that they were out of the black tea I wanted. This newest KFT location and opening is decent amid the ongoing pandemic. It appears as though they are currently understaffed and the proprietor kept saying that they will be closing soon despite arriving well before closing time. The drinks were good with no problems getting the order correctly. The location is in a high traffic area, and considering all the other businesses next to it, I am sure they will be able to drive more business. read more

The owner lied about not having the jelly even though I literally saw it on the table. They were too lazy to put the jelly inside so I made them work for it by putting a substitute. For several months they have been trying to get me to order Large for my slush, saying something about ice chunks. I always decline and always order the Medium frankly only because the large is too much. Today, same thing when I tried to order Med slush. Lady tries to get me to upgrade, I decline, and as she was proceeding to ring me up the owner comes up and says slush can only be Large. Whaaat? I've been ordering Med for months and the Novi location has no problem making my slush in Med. I complained it's on their menu and why do I have to pay for the Large? One star is too generous. My friend and I visited this location only to have one of the most horrible customer service experiences. The owner (an Indian man) berated an employee in front of other customers, stopped her from re-making the drink (when it was his negligence that prevented her from making it correctly the first time), and made extremely disrespectful comments like "can you read?" And "this is what you get". He was extremely temperamental and quite frankly showed us what a toxic work environment his employees are subject to every single day. He refused to remake the drink and instead said only a refund was possible to which he also refused to print the receipt and said to take a picture for our records.
