Finally, boulder has some decent boba and milk tea. Although this place is just like any other milk tea place if you've been in LA, we have some BAD milk tea places here. Lolicup is near this place but it is what I was talking about earlier. If you are going to go here, I highly recommend the honey oolong tea. Personally I like to add grass jelly to it. The ambiance of this place is great. Seems like a chill place, a good place to just hang out with a couple of friends. The only problem is that the line can be long. Now i mean very long (we are very limited on good milk tea). This place doesn't really have free parking. It is the hill so what do you really expect. I would come here again. I've been coming to this location almost every day since they opened and I've never been disappointed. They give you options to adjust your sugar and ice levels, which is a plus that many other places don't have. Once in a while I would get my drink and it's too sweet even though I lowered the sugar level, but other times they were perfect! I would recommend you trying out their taro milk tea. I've tried other flavors but they were not for me. The staff are also very friendly and patient. Parking is a little hard to find if it's a really busy day on the hills but you just have to be willing to walk a bit for good boba tea! read more

The milk tea here tastes like actual milk tea and is great. Unlike Thai teas that you can get anywhere this place has real milk tea and the boba tastes fresh and has a better texture than any other boba place I have been to. The KFT empire continues to grow coming all the way to Boulder now. I didn't find this place any different from other KFT places I've been to. It's right off of campus so that's convenient. The service was slow but there were a lot of people and it was the first week of their opening. But I don't know where else you would find decent boba other than here in Boulder. read more

Amazing drinks and amazing service. Finally, a bubble tea shop in Boulder that uses REAL tea, and not that powder based fluff. This Kung Fu Tea always hits the spot. I went to another location for their milk cap and I couldn't even finish it so that says alot... especially when BOBA IS LIFE! I like that they have special drinks once in awhile. I recently tried their strawberry cream without boba but it is to die for! It was blended with fresh strawberries and topped with milk cap. Truth is, I am a milk cap addict! When I have my weekly cravings for boba, I typically stick with the milk teas because it compliments the soft chewy boba and I never leave disappointed. Personally, I am not a huge fan of slushes because the ice tends to harden the boba bubbles. This location always make the best oolong milk teas and taro milk teas. I find them very consistent. Side note--- If you assume taro milk tea is purple, you're wrong, it only has a hue to it--the dark black tea makes it darker. Beside the awesome boba drinks, I love the staff here! We used to have fun small talks but with this whole pandemic, it is hard to chat with them...The combination of masks, acrylic separator, phones ringing, shakers going and blenders running in the background makes it nearly impossible to even hear your own thoughts. I miss the sit-in vibe there but I still make the drive to Boulder just for boba! Love it there! read more

I am very impressed with Kung Fu Tea's boba drinks! This is the bet boba tea I have had in Boulder and Fort Collins combined (way better than Ku Cha). Every drink is customizable and the menu is easy to read and navigate. They even let me bring my pup in. Great service, great drinks, just great all around! read more

The cashier was horrible, had a bad attitude, and was not a good representation for this establishment as I never had an issue with any other locations. Seats, tables, and floors were filthy. The milk tea was overly sweet and boba was stale and old. Probably explains why this shop was empty. You probably have better luck going to Lollicup around the corner! read more

These guys are fast and efficient! And they are always joking around with customers making us smile. There was a line out the door due to covid distancing with roughly 15 orders ahead of me. I was weary of waiting but I'm glad I did. They zoomed through the line in under 10 minutes. Milk teas are my go to and I always let the barista choose a different flavor and they have never let me down! Boba was soft as always. Read the reviews saying they will adjust sugar levels but then the girl we ordered from said it's all in the powder.....I was like????? Which means it's not fresh brewed tea with milk and sweetener added separately like places in California. Also the boba was a little hard. I think the secret is too keep the boba warm so when it's served with the cold tea it's still soft and chewy not hardened from the cold. Kung Fu tea is a very authentic and original taste and is great for a walking distance boba place from campus. There is no need to drive from campus to get a good milk tea and the workers and very polite and friendly. Kung Fu tea is one of my favorite boba places in Boulder so far especially on college avenue where I walk everyday. read more

You can get more than just thai tea here like the Milk Green Tea of Oolong Milk tea and the best part is for someone such as myself who does not like very sugary things is that I can adjust the sugar level. College Avenue has many great places a walking distance away and I would not recommend driving because there is no parking anywhere on the hill but if you find yourself walking along the Hill then you should stop by Kung Fu Tea. They have a wide selection of drinks which is what brought me to the place and makes me want to keep going back to try every one of their drinks. read more

Ok so I LOVE the Denver location because the boba is always cooked perfectly and soft the way all branches of Kung fu tea makes them but for some mysterious reason the boulder location is a hit or miss (more often a miss though) when it comes to the boba. I would say 90% of the time they are too hard so I'm guessing it's either the balls themselves are different than those from other KFT branches or the cooking times aren't done the same. Regardless their drink flavors are the same both in Denver and boulder but the boba balls are disappointing at this location. I hope they can start making them the way they're made in the Denver location because the boba balls there are always so tasty and soft! Especially with the drinks being more expensive in boulder (tax) I would hope that they cook them softer! Other than that I love this place and the staff is nice which is great :) read more

Not the best boba tea I've had in a while. When I was drinking it, I noticed a powdery built up on the side of my cup. I got the Thai tea and I'm guessing that's a sign that it wasn't authentic but made with a Thai Tea flavored powder. To each their own, but I prefer authentic thai tea. read more

I understand that they are new, but I never experience the problems that i've had here compare to the one in the Denver. The first time I went my tea was made perfectly expect they forgot ice in my drink so it was kind of warm. The second time I went I got the same drink oolong milk tea and the color literally looked white because the drink just tasted like milk but there was actually some ice in there this time. I asked the guy to add more tea and he failed to do so. The flavor of the tea was slightly there after the fix. Very disappointed. read more
