I can't thank Kobe enough for the work he did trying to help us find an RV that would meet our needs and price.

A support brace wasn't welded from the factory and instead of taking it somewhere to have it welded, like we were told they were going to do they riveted it. The freezer would go up to 50° after being plugged in for over a month and they stated that was normal. The refrigerator would freeze in the back and be 43° in the front. They stated that that was normal. There was a water on the floor after the slides were put out and they stated that was normal screws were hanging halfway down from the ceiling and they stated that that was normal. They charged $100 to take out two bolts to adjust the weight distribution hitch. I had a $300 credit from Quietwoods and they will not honor it. Even though they had the camper from mid September to the end of April they had to fix things while we were there picking it up even though they said it was ready weeks ago. While we were there, we talked to another customer that stated he was given excuse after excuse why his camper wasn't fixed yet. If I could give them a negative number I would.

On 31Dec2025 I visited Kunes Sheboygan North to find about the "RV Life". The salesman (Austin)…read moreled me outside to view some available units. While stepping between units , there was a big patch of ice covered with snow, and I fell HARD on my left side, bruising my left leg from waist to knee, and jamming my left shoulder trying to break the fall. Austin attempted to help me up using one hand, was unsuccessful and I fell again. I think that there should have been ice melt or sand on the patch of ice. An accident report was requested, and as of today 04Jan2026 I have not received a copy of the report, however I did receive an email from Austin wanting to show me more available units. No "sorry about the fall" just sales talk.. It concerns me that such a heartless communication would foster me wanting to utilize Kunes for a purchase. I am disturbed that they contacted myself about sales, yet never mentioned my injuries I'm still waiting for a copy of my accident report. It would be my recommendation that if a person is looking for an RV, to avoid at all cost Kunes RV Sheboygan North1`

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Buyer Beware…read more We've been avid campers for over 30 years, and this was not our first camper purchase--so we came into this process well-informed and excited to upgrade. Unfortunately, our experience with Kunes was nothing short of disappointing. We initially spent two hours on a Monday evening browsing their inventory and scheduled to return Tuesday night to view more options. On Tuesday, we sat down with a salesman, negotiated what we thought was a final number (with our trade-in valued at $24,000--which aligns with JD Power's $20,000-$25,000 estimate), and left believing we'd return Thursday to finalize everything. Thursday arrived and we were genuinely excited. The staff welcomed us warmly, we completed a full walk-through of our new camper, and learned how to operate everything. However, just before signing the final paperwork, the manager approached us with "an issue" regarding our trade-in: a 4"x4" soft spot on the floor on both slide outs--assumed same damage under the fridge, Teagan did NOT remove the fridge to look, just used a flashlight. We were told this would require a full floor replacement at a whopping $12,000--due to possible water intrusion from screws or caulking. My husband immediately said the deal was off. Then, in the very next breath, the manager asked, "Well, would $8,000 work for you?" Just like that, $4,000 came off the "repair estimate". That raised serious red flags--how inflated was that repair cost to begin with? Meanwhile, we returned to the showroom only to be congratulated by the staff on our "purchase" while we informed them there was no sale happening. In the end, we hooked up our 2017 Bighorn and took off on our trip--grateful we didn't fall for a questionable deal. Thanks for the no-sale, Kunes. You saved us money and reminded us why we loved our current camper in the first place.
