The staff (1 guy, 1 woman) hardly said anything to the customers coming in, including myself. No acknowledgement of any kind. I had to almost beg the guy to get a bag for my purchases. I have purchased many soft plushies for my daughters during my road trips. While heading to Springfield, MO, we had to get gas for the rental car. Made a quick stop here. Nice and clean gas station. Got gas at great low price. Paid at the pump. We also took advantage of their very long stick squeegee. My eldest daughter insisted we clean the car windows because there were a lot of dust and bird poop. She took on the fun task and did an amazing job. Thank you my dear! We didn't go inside the food mart since we didn't have to use the restrooms nor did I need to pick up any magnets. I probably should have went inside anyway just to check it out. Always nice to stroll through a Love's. Love's is definitely the place to stop for rest, for gas, for food, and more! Thanks Love's for being present when I need you the most. You're like, "why is he reviewing a Walgreens?" And I'm like, "because it's really nice."…read more I've been to Walgreens locations where I've seen pharmacists have emotional breakdowns, hyper children stealing food, and drunk people passed out on the floor. I mean, sure, all this craziness makes for great theater, but I'm usually in a hurry when I visit one. This location has non of that drama, and it's probably one of HQ's ideal stores. Why? It's I-can-see-my-face-in-the-floor clean, immaculately well stocked, and the people there wear a genuine smile. During my first visit, people welcomed me like I was their very first customer ever. Thank goodness, y'all were located across from my hotel. Want to see me at this Walgreens in the future? Look for the Asian dude loading his basket full of an egregious quantities of Smart Water and Heath bars. Oh, and travel-sized toothpaste. Why do I always forget this? Also, I feel like I could take up three parking spaces, and they wouldn't care. This Walgreens has so much space.

That said, this particular store is incredibly well-managed, and certainly worthy of a better average rating than the one it has at the time of this review. Aisles are always clean and well-stocked, the staff are always helpful and unlike other locations in town, this one isn't home base for a posse of loiterers. On holidays and during weather emergencies, they're reliably open even when other stores close their doors, making them an essential resource to people living in this part of town. All told, there's very little to complain about here and whole lot worth praising. Ignore their review average, try it out and you'll quickly see why it's my favorite location in Springfield.
