Out of all the places I stopped at, this place in Missouri offered the cheapest gas at $3.23 a gallon. The price of gas in the SoCal area fluctuates from $3.64 to $4.15. The second place winner does go to Texas with gas prices of around $3.29. Other than the gas prices, I will say that the nicest strangers I've met on my road trip are the denizens of Missouri.
