The selection and prices are very, very nice. The sales are constant on the snack aisle and when you sign up for their loyalty program you earn actual cash back to apply to future purchases. If you are occasionally drawn to cute little gift items Walgreens always has a nice aisle filled with them. So many pluses to shopping here.

However, I recently utilized their photo department to order photo enlargements and was disappointed with my experience. I ordered a handful of 4x6 and 8x10 photos to this specific Walgreens via online. When I arrived to pick them up, I was greeted by two employees before heading to the photo desk. Upon looking over my prints, 2 of my 4 8x10 prints were missing and many of my 4x6 prints had streaking in the middle of the images, which I know was not on the original photos themselves (see photos). When I asked about my missing prints, the associate found they had printed, just not been placed with my order. As for the 4x6 prints, she took my prints and appeared to reprint them but the streaks were still noticeable. She did not offer to clean the machine then reprint my images or offer a discount/refund for my streaky images. It appeared she was not familiar with the photo department's equipment. I will not be sending my photos enlargements to this Walgreens in the future.

I mean, sure, all this craziness makes for great theater, but I'm usually in a hurry when I visit one. This location has non of that drama, and it's probably one of HQ's ideal stores. Why? It's I-can-see-my-face-in-the-floor clean, immaculately well stocked, and the people there wear a genuine smile. During my first visit, people welcomed me like I was their very first customer ever. Thank goodness, y'all were located across from my hotel. Want to see me at this Walgreens in the future? Look for the Asian dude loading his basket full of an egregious quantities of Smart Water and Heath bars. Oh, and travel-sized toothpaste. Why do I always forget this? Also, I feel like I could take up three parking spaces, and they wouldn't care. This Walgreens has so much space.

Aisles are always clean and well-stocked, the staff are always helpful and unlike other locations in town, this one isn't home base for a posse of loiterers. On holidays and during weather emergencies, they're reliably open even when other stores close their doors, making them an essential resource to people living in this part of town. All told, there's very little to complain about here and whole lot worth praising. Ignore their review average, try it out and you'll quickly see why it's my favorite location in Springfield.

Have been told this is the running modus operandi but I can easily get whatever I need when I'm in town at Walgreens instead and without the attitude. Disgraceful CVS location and will not return.
