I love this place!! I go there often and the staff is amazing. They're all so knowledgeable, super friendly, not just with me because they know me, but with everyone I've seen come in the shop while I'm there. I have Multiple Sclerosis for 37 years now and terrible pain and peripheral neuropathy. The first time I went to the shop I was looking for something to help with the neuropathic pain that is always in my hands and feet. The staff is so knowledgeable, they know exactly what to recommend and they were willing to explain everything to me. Walked into this location with my son, girl behind the counter was to busy cleaning, resetting shelves...she was very preoccupied with other things. We both kept trying to ask question but she really seemed to want to work at other things then her customer service skills and sales ..so we just left and very disappointed with Kulture we have been coming to the downtown location for 10 years and your other locations, so when my son moved to the south side we were happy to have this one close to him! No stars. Seriously. I've never walked into an establishment as an adult and have been immediately squawked at by an employee from behind the counter. Also, as a responsible parent who is quitting the burning tobacco habit but still not hip to the idea of needing a sitter just so I can ask a few questions about tobacco free or vaping options available, I think I'll travel the extra miles into Cary Town for AVAIL instead. Otherwise, you'll find yourself getting yelled at by a twenty something with the professionalism of a brick and surrounded by gaggles of underaged people lounging around the entry on "tasteful" plastic lawn chairs. Go elsewhere, this place is trashy. Even the local tobacco shop (which surprisingly didn't include a squawking twenty something telling me to leave because I have teenaged children) warned us against it. Should've listened. read more

I was rather impressed with their pandemic response- they are limiting customers to one at a time, they have the floor marked off so that you cannot touch counters, they are not letting people handle merchandise, they recommended to me that I wash my purchase because of fumigation residue, and they gave me a squirt of hand sanitizer on the way out the door. I cannot speak for any location other than Hull St, but the entire experience made me feel safe. Nice folks that are taking public health very seriously, highly recommend. read more

Great little store! I've probably drove by here a couple hundred times and never noticed it. The store is well stocked and had exactly what I was looking for. The sales girls were awesome. There was a product I was interested in and didn't know much about, they were awesome at explaining it and in the end I ended up walking out with more then I came in for. 10/10 I will visit again. read more

Everything is expensive and basic. Nothing cool, nothing special, and god forbid you ask a question. They either aren't knowledgeable with the products or they have a nasty attitude. I only use it as a convenient store if I don't have time to drive to Richmond. read more
