Higher Education are criminals who are damaging the name of an American Company, Cali Crusher, as well as trust in local businesses. I brought the clean and unused grinder back into Higher Education, along with the receipt, and proof that it was a knockoff. The Owner's reply after acknowledging that it was fake grinder was: "No returns. No returns, no exceptions. Do you want me to keep repeating myself?" This is the most unprofessional and disgusting way of doing business I've seen from a RVA proprietor outside of Seibert's Towing. Selling cheaply made knockoff goods for premium price of $70 and refusing to accept returns is simply criminal. The Owner has made this practice his policy, and for that reason Higher Education does not deserve your business. PS: The Grinder is fake because: 1) It visibly doesn't have Cali Crusher's patented 4-Way Quick Lock System. it just has regular cheap metal threading 2) It doesn't have the crossbar supports beneath the screen. 3) It has a cheap plastic pollen scraper, instead of Cali Crusher's signature guitar pick shape.

The associate even admitted it was his fault for selling me the wrong size, but his manager wouldn't let him do the obvious decent thing--which was exchange it. I mean seriously, what the heck is that? When I called the manager myself, she wouldn't even hear me out, just saying "no refunds" and "you should have read the signs before buying something." Totally not how the law works, much less basic retail service. I seriously hope that $85 one-time sale was worth losing a repeat customer and pissing off a neighbor.

He had no F*&ks to give, and just lifted his head and wagged his tail. Charlie and I continued up the stairs to the store where the clerk was busy with one person and we browsed their selection. It wasn't huge but it was enough. I was looking for a scent free bag and a few small things. They had everything I needed right there. In total, I think I spent $50 for a new grinder, a couple of bags, some gummies and that's about it. We chatted with the guy and he threw in 2 $3 CDB honey sticks as a bonus (Way to go man, those sticks were awesome on my flight home.) Would I go back? Sure would.
