My hubby saw this restaurant on Instagram so we decided to go give it a try. I have to say that it was a nice clean atmosphere and the staff were all so friendly. We started out by ordering drinks. I ordered the La Raina which is my favorite drink! It's oh so yummy! My hubby ordered the El Jefe And the daughter ordered a Smokey passionfruit. All of them were very good. For the food, we started off with the taquitos, which were very good. My daughter ordered the chicken molè which she said was one of the best she's had. My hubby ordered the Chile Verde enchiladas. They were also very good. I ordered a fish taco and a Pozole taco. The posole taco was one of the most amazing tacos I've had and I will definitely be back for more! You should give it a try you're looking for a top-notch Mexican place then definitely give this place a try. It doesn't disappoint.

Food: 3.5 Service: 5 Ambiance: 4 Kulturas is in the same location that Kalaveras used to occupy, and, in my opinion, it's a huge improvement. We visited during the soft opening, and the place was absolutely packed, which is always a good sign. The vibes and ambiance were wonderful. I loved all of the colors, artwork, and murals on the walls. The entire space felt warm, lively, and inviting. Jersey and the rest of the waitstaff were absolutely fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The service was definitely five stars. We ordered the ceviche, chicken Caesar salad, chips and guacamole, and the carne asada fries. I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The ceviche was incredibly fresh, the Caesar salad was packed with flavor, and the guacamole was delicious as well. The only item that didn't really stand out to me was the carne asada fries, but since this was a soft opening, I'm more than willing to give them some grace. The drinks were excellent as well. We ordered a mocktail, and it was both beautiful and delicious. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kulturas if you're looking for great Latin food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. The vibes were wonderful, the service was top-notch, and I'll definitely be back.

New spot. Taco Tuesday 2.49 with self serve salsa bar. Clean spot, friendly staff. We sat at the bar and service hasn't been this good in a long time anywhere. Eric was great all around. Drinks were strong and kept checking in on us. Location is upstairs. Looking forwarding to trying regular menu. Happy margaritas has a decent $10 deal.

Came to check out the new revamp on I think one of the first days opening. It was actually a staff training day so there were discounted drinks and a free app. It was super busy when my group arrived but we were seated right away. The ambience was nice and the place is huge inside. Our server was on break when we arrived so the manager Ulysses started us off with some drinks and apps. He told us we could get a free app for being there for the training but had to chose immediately so we panic ordered some taquitos. I didn't even realize until after he left that the taquitos we ordered had the option of either chicken or potato and he never asked our preference. Chicken is what we ended up with which was fine but it would've been nice to know there was an option. The taquitos didn't have a ton of flavor but they did come with some guacamole. We also ordered the guacamole appetizer that came with chips and salsa as well. The guacamole for me was the highlight. It was super creamy and had really great flavor. The salsa was good but almost reminded me of spaghetti sauce in a way. Our server Jersey came back from break and she was super friendly and checked in often although like I said, it was pretty busy. She did however forget to ring in our chicken quesadilla. We had told her if it wasn't already rang in just to please cancel because we were ready to head out. Several minutes later she brought out a quesadilla and told us she had forgotten to ring it in but it was on the house. It didn't have chicken in it but my friends at least enjoyed it anyway. This was a staff training night so I am not in the least bit upset over these minor mistakes. Our drinks were tasty, our service was friendly and they have some decent happy hour deals so I'm sure I'll be back in the future.

I heard there was a NEW restaurant in town called Kulturas on IG but, sadly I missed their STAFF TRAINING DAY last Wednesday. So I decided to call in to see if they are open today and they said they are open on Friday to Sunday from 10am-12am... Weekdays they are open at 11:00am and I wasn't sure what time they close from Monday to Thursday. Please KINDLY update the BUSINESS HOURS on YELP... On a Sunday afternoon around 2pm it was pretty Chill... FREE APPETIZER: 7/10 We got the Chips and guacamole. Guacamole was good but, the chips were cold and stale... CHICKEN PASTA: 10/10 Star of the show. We're allergic to shrimp so we asked for chicken instead and they accommodated us. So glad they did because this pasta dish was so RICH and CREAMY. So DELICIOUS that I did not want to share... CHICKEN TAQUITOS: 9/10 loved the presentation and red color of the tortillas. The chipotle sauce was a great dip for it. POZOLE TACOS: 9/10 Love the texture of the tortillas and the flavors of the meat and hominy coming together to form a lovely harmony... BIRRIA TACOS: 9/10 It can get messy but, worth the mess. Just ask for extra napkins! The flavors and the meat were really good... AMBIANCE: 9/10 Great ambiance. You can get nice views from the 2nd floor. Half the restaurant was dark near the bar area and the other half was brighter... SERVICE: Great service by Jersey. My horchata was watered down and she kindly made me another one that was much thicker and rich in flavors but, just a little too sweet. I really appreciated that. We asked for a different table and she said ok because I wanted to order a lot of food and take photos or videos so we needed a bigger and brighter table. I would recommend the long booth for any other INFLUENCERS coming to visit too... ROCK ON KULTURAS!!!!!

So far I'm loving this place. The initial service was a little slow but afterwards, Jerry was amazing! I wanted to have everything ready to go (bill, takeout box, etc) and he lined it all up. I ordered the Corazon De Fresa and it was delicious! Just my style of drink. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe. Music isn't blasting and has great views as it is in the second floor. Came here for happy hour and it wasn't so crowded. If my kids love the food and eat out if their comfort zone, I give it a five stars.

The enchiladas verdes was very good and flavorful and it's nice it comes with rice and beans. The rice and beans were not very good though, not too flavorful. Also had a jalapeño cucumber margarita which was really good even with the well tequila it came with. Went a little later so there was not too many people but the service was not the best. The server came over a couple of times and was not the nicest or most genuine person. Miss when it was kalaveras because it had more of a fun, entertaining atmosphere. Now it seems a little dull and boring with way less decorations. It was overall okay but not a place I would tell all my friends about either.

I love the revamp. This place use to be Kalveras, now it's Kultura. Service is friendly. The restaurant is nice, good place to have a nice meal and enjoy watching a game. It's spacious and there is nice bar seating. The ambiance was pretty lively on a Sunday. The food is delicious. I loved the avocado and chicharron taco. The guac and chips were a nice starter. We will be back!

I decided to go with my husband to Kultara's soft opening. This establishment was formally Calaveras, but they reopened Kultara's by sprucing up the place and updating by updating the decor and making some changes to the menu. I will be upfront to say that I did not like it when it was Calaveras. I only went there once and never returned. So, we were seated, and and our waitress was named Jersey. We ordered happy hour drinks right off the bat, I had the adios, which is a very generously portioned drink. However, it is served in a carafe, which is very difficult to drink out of my husband ordered a draft beer. At the same time, we asked for water and we never received it. The nice thing about the soft opening is that every table received a free appetizer from the happy hour menu. We chose the quesobirra tacos. The portion was generous. It came with four tacos and a consommé sauce. The only problem was that they were pretty greasy, but that tasted fine. We next decided to order the posole taco, which was recommended by the hostess and she was not wrong. It was delicious. The crunchy hominy was amazing. We also ordered the Chichironi taco, that was terrible, there was no crunch to the pork belly or crispness. The flavor was underwhelming. I asked our waitress if I can have some salsa or hot sauce so I can add it to the taco. She never came back with that. The one good thing I can say about the tacos is that the portion is large. I will also add that I had ordered a second drink, and then the waitress finally came back about 10 minutes later and asked me if I wanted to order a drink, I told her I had already ordered one, but she had forgotten, but she did eventually bring my second drink. I don't think I will be coming back again, they were very well staffed. I know that they are new, but the staff was kind of just standing around and chitchatting with each other. I felt that we should've gotten better service. Also, the food was just OK and one final comment is that this is the same problem I had before the rebranding of the restaurant is that the acoustics in the place are horrible and you really have to talk very loud to speak to the person next to you. I would suggest that the restaurant put in some sound paneling to help the acoustics.

10/10 Experience! I don't usually leave reviews, but Jersey absolutely deserves one! From the moment we sat down, she was incredible. She was attentive without ever being overbearing, made sure our drinks were always full, checked on us at the perfect times, and gave the BEST recommendations they were all spot on! What really stood out was how much Jersey genuinely cared about giving us an amazing experience. Her customer service was beyond exceptional 100/100! She was friendly, professional, kind, and made us feel like valued guests instead of just another table. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it truly shows. Restaurants can teach people how to serve food, but they can't teach someone to care the way Jersey does. She turned a great meal into an unforgettable dining experience. If every server was like Jersey, every restaurant would be five stars. She is an absolute gem, and I truly hope she gets the recognition she deserves because employees like her are rare. Thank you, Jersey, for making our visit so special. We will definitely be back because of YOU!

I thought this place would be just like Kalaveras, but I was WRONG! The food is way better, authentic flavors, great service, and such a good experience. Ulises was also great

It is a little pricier than your typical Mexican spot, but honestly, the food is worth it. Quality, flavor, and portions made it feel like money well spent. And let's talk about the pink lemonade! The server was attentive and kept checking in on us. Now the food. When we were sat down, we were given complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were perfect and not overly salty or greasy. The salsa was very mild and had a great flavor. I ordered a 2 taco combo plate ($14.95) with carne asada and carnitas. The carne asada was just okay, it was cut into thicker piece, which is not my preference. It was also topped with guacamole, which was not the best I've had. The carnitas however were magnificent topped with pickled onions, cilantro, and salsa. The rice was not traditional Mexican rice and did have a bit of a crunch to it rather than a toast before cooking. The beans were just plain pinto beans, not refried beans, but they were good. While this place, is not extremely traditional, it is a great spot in Old Town Temecula with fairly good food. I'm looking forward to coming back again.
