I thought this place would be just like Kalaveras, but I was WRONG! The food is way better, authentic flavors, great service, and such a good experience. Ulises was also great read more

Went there for some drinks and wings. I got there at 12pm and have not stopped being on the toilet. The bartender was nice but I'm pretty sure the wings were bad and left out all day or something. Pretty disgusting and will not be going there again. read more

Gone to this place for taco Tuesday tacos were good. I got Carnitas Carne Asada and Chicharron. They were pretty good. You have to put everything on your own tacos in their taco bar area, which is pretty cool and they have a little bit of everything. I just wish it was more authentic where they had more chilies for spice wise the service was great very accommodating. Our server was always there for anything that we needed. Definitely recommend a place. I liked it and I will definitely be returning with friends and family. read more

What a Great place.the atmosphere is inviting and full of spirit.I have been there in the afternoon posted at the bar and the bartenders are Awesome the bartender Jersey was very attentive to what we needed with excellent great customer service!!!.Also the view from the balcony area and even the bar overlooking Main Street Temecula and really really unique and I enjoyed it.I work nearby and go there for lunch on occasion and the Food is epic, the Fajita lunch plate with corn tortillas is my favorite in its Authenticity 100 percent Mexican energy.Def recommend this place!!!! read more

I was looking forward to supporting and trying out this new place in Old Town Temecula yesterday (08/15/26), but I was extremely disappointed by the staff. We came in around 1:30 PM. There were only about eight people in the restaurant, and service was very slow, no one was waiting at all. You would think they could accommodate a booth request without it turning into an argument on the staff's side. The gentleman who was "in charge" at the time, I believe his name was Jerry, made us feel very unwelcome. He refused to accommodate our seating preference and became argumentative when I asked. He kept talking over me and clearly didn't want to listen to what I had to say. Keep in mind, this is a new establishment and they were not busy at all. We ended up taking our money and business elsewhere to 1909 down the street, which was amazing. I did have a chance to speak with Jose, the regional manager, who was there at the time but unaware of what had been going on until he approached the hostess desk. He apologized, said he would accommodate our request, and was very kind. Unfortunately, by that point my husband no longer wanted to stay, so we left and went to 1909 instead. The staff needs better training on how to treat paying customers. It wasn't about the booth, it was about how the request was handled and how a lead or supervisor chose to argue with a customer. Very unprofessional. read more

We went to dinner at Kulturas. We started with margaritas. Then we ordered chicken taquitos, they brought us half potato and half chicken. They were not good at all. They came with a creamy sauce (not good) so I asked for regular salsa. They brought watered down salsa. We decided to eat somewhere else. The ambiance was nice just not going back for food! read more

Went in with the girlies, and sat at the bar, the food was so good, and the sex on the beach my bartender made was ABSOLUTELY delicious, but I wanted to say the bartender behind the bar tall guy I think he said his name was Cody or Kobe, was INCREDIBLE. So funny so professional and watching him run the bar top and make drinks for the servers he did a wonderful job thanks for the great experience I'll be coming back all the time! read more

We had such a wonderful experience at Kulturas in Temecula! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. A huge thank you to Jerry and Jersey for making our visit so memorable. 10/10 we came for the grand opening and it was BUSY bc of the World Cup games! The staff handled everything so well, the food was top tier! Music was in point. We will definitely be back! Jerry and Jersey gave us excellent customer service!! read more

Service was good and the team definitely brought good energy. I ordered the birria tacos which I enjoyed. The asada fries app was also really good. My only complaint is the price of the drink I got. I ordered a cucumber marg but with Tito's instead of tequila and it was $19. For that drink price I probably won't return but other then that it was really an amazing experience. read more

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing service. I couldn't be any happier. I loved celebrating my birthday here. My favorite dish that I tried was the shrimp enchiladas. This was our second time eating at this location. The first visit was on a Friday evening, and while the food was good, it was not great. Our second visit was on a Thursday afternoon, and unfortunately, the food was just okay. I ordered the enchiladas verdes both times, and they were good on each visit. My wife ordered the carne asada. The quality of the meat was good, but it had absolutely no salt and was extremely greasy for carne asada. The onions served with it were literally swimming in grease. We also ordered the same dessert both times: the churro sandwich with ice cream. The first time, the churro was soft and the ice cream held up well without melting too quickly. The second time, the churro was very hard and difficult to cut with a spoon--we had to use a knife. The ice cream was completely melted within about two minutes of arriving at our table. We always try to visit a restaurant twice to get a fair sense of the experience. Sadly, based on the inconsistency and our overall experience, we will not be returning. read more

Kulturas - Candy Shot! - Mexican Near Me - Temecula, California

food wasn't bad, but sad to say, this won't be your TJ Taco, El Gordo's kind of quality. This is more a, Restaurant, with great Sports Bar Ambiance, lots of monitors to watch games. On arrival, the Bartender, greeted my Wife an I, about opening time 11am. Very great engagement, eye contact, great unspoken body english. When our Waitress arrived, kind of a cold fish. For some reason, her personality type, reminded me of a She/Him. Not trying to sound sexist, but it kind of changed everything. She didn't tell us about the Taco special, which we researched before coming for their Taco Tuesday special. The online menu's showed the meats, not the menus' you get in the restaurant. Not a big deal, but we ordered the Lengua, she came back and told us no lengua, so I got more Carne asada tacos, 4 total. My wife was at the salsa bar, so her lengua was changed with mine :). She got one Carnitas and one Birria. if you know tenderness of lengua :), my wife LOL. The kicker was the payment. Server, Esp... brought our bill, walked away, with one other couple around us. After a few min, she wasn't around so I can have her run it, so we walked up to the front and asked the other attendant. On a side note, I did see her eating by the entrance to the restrooms earlier, kind of odd. Getting back to the payment situation, hovered over me, as I gave her 18%. Just her vibe, just wasn't vibing, my wife review of her is worse than mine, and I'll keep out, you know Women LOL, kidding. Married 35 years, two Daughters, two Sisters so go ahead and beat me up :) I'll chalk it up to the time, if you know what I'm thinking :0 Thankfully had Dinner in Palm Springs/Desert, Awesome Ideal service, engaging, with many Servers/Attendants. Korean BBQ/AYCE, the bomb, check that review, enjoy :) read more

Went there for dinner Friday night around 8. Sat at the bar , the restaurant was not too busy. I was really looking forward to their mole enchiladas since I had eaten at their other location in Ontario and had a great dinner. My husband ordered a beer I had just water and ordered food. We chatted while we waited and noticed people that arrived after us were getting their food and we were still waiting. After speaking to another bartender our order had never been put in. We totally understand it recently opened but the bartender that helped us never apologized or said anything to us. We ended up just paying our bill (1 beer) and left. I hope to try and go back because their food in Ontario was excellent. They definitely need to work on their customer service. read more

All I can say is I miss what Kalaveras used to be :( while the food was just as good, the quality of service experienced as my first time at Kulturas was truly disappointing. First off, I was lied to on the phone when I called and asked if this was Kalaveras confirming they were open. They literally could've just said they were under new management or rebranded under new name or whatever as not to sound deceiving but whatever. Nonetheless I look forward to trying the place in celebration of my amiga's birthday, and the lack of attentiveness was disappointing. Our server just didn't seem to be attentively listening to us as we were putting in our orders being that the wrong item came out for me and she had to come back a few minutes later to reconfirm our drinks. I think we saw her maybe twice in our whole visit but it just felt like she was hard to get ahold of. She was at the bar the whole time and with the way she was so forgetful and clumsy dropping drinks right next to us I would've thought she was under the influence. As someone who knows how to be an excellent server being that I've also worked in the industry and I know the bare minimum and this girl was just not it. I don't even remember her name because we hardly saw her. Food was delicious tho that's the one star I just miss the good service we used to have at Kalaveras read more
