Price was (in my opinion) extremely steep for a 600 square foot apartment. $375 flat rate + additional $50 to clean the jealousie windows. If I wasn't on a time crunch, I probably wouldn't have spent the money. Overall, the cleaners were very friendly and professional. It took approximately 2.5 hours for three cleaners to make my apartment SPOTLESS. The Filipino aunties are so cute and have great attention to detail. I wish I could have tipped them for their services (bc they deserve it) but after spending so much on the service itself, couldn't bring myself to justifying the cost. Overall, good service though!!

We changed around our schedules to accommodate them and planned in advance but they simply "forgot" about us, because they got "busy." They also charged $160 for a small (less than 1,000 square feet) two-bedroom apartment downtown. This price is ridiculous but the first time they came, the work was quality so we were happy to pay. Then, they started to nickel-and-dime us. And charging $30 for extra appliances they cleaned the first time. The owner said that the $160 was now just for "maid service" and not a "cleaning service." Very hurt and disappointed by this experience.

The place looked clean but upon further inspection, they didn't wipe down the counters, clean under the bed, couch or coffee table, or clean the shower fixtures. I spent about 2 hours making sure the place was perfect. The company asks for feedback within 24 hours, but I was out of town and sent photos and expressed my disappointment a few days after the cleaning. After some back and forth, they offered me a $70 refund which is why I'm giving 2 stars. I still paid $380 for subpar cleaning and spent 2 hours on it, which is unacceptable. If this was my business, I would have done everything I could to make it completely right and win back the customer. But that is not their business model.

I was told only one person would be available, but that should not have affected the standard of cleaning. They charged $400 for a subpar job. They did not take out the trash or clean the floors. I came home with my kids after a long day of work and still had to throw out the garbage and deal with dirty floors. When I contacted the company and sent photos, they blamed the issues on the fact that I hadn't done a walkthrough, and they did not offer to correct the problems. I do not recommend this cleaning service.

Awesome customer service Okihime Cleaning Services. I did read several of the (1) star reviews prior to arranging the appointment which more or less stated that the customers either could not get a response from the company or that there was some sort of scheduling issue. I should have listened to my gut and stayed away. This is definitely not a company that I would put my trust in.

I remembered what the unit looked and smelled like when I moved in one year ago and Okihime matched it and the realtor knew that. The value was above reproach. Some cleaning companies want to see your mess, square footage, pictures, and don't want to waste their time meeting you. Okihime was the exact opposite. They beat out all competitors and I interviewed a lot of cleaners. They were eager for my business, they worked around my schedule. They didn't pussyfoot around square footage or request to see pictures. They didn't need a credit card to hold a date. They were straight-forward and honest. I pray that I do not need to move ever again as it is the most stressful thing in the world, but if I ever need to move or refer someone to get their places cleaned for a moving, I will always remember and refer them to Okihime Cleaning Services. Oh yes, one more thing, they were early for their appointment and I was on time. Which never happens with cleaners. If you want a company with integrity, honesty, a commitment for excellence, trust me and go with Okihime. If you choose to go with another company and it doesn't go as well as you expected, remember this review. The pictures speak for themselves. As far as the other reviews go that give less than 5-stars? The owners go out of their way to make things right. These customers hold resentment and are probably going through a rough patch in their lives. As I said before, moving is super stressful. Show some grace. I am so thankful for the work Okihime did on my place to have my unit. From start to finish. I put my project up. They contacted me within a few minutes. We talked. Set a date within 48 hours. And I passed final inspection. They worked hard and for their hard worked, I also provided optional gratuity. When you realize just how much hidden spots a professional cleaner can help you clean up to make your place pass an inspection, you'll be so grateful. Okihime is absolutely a life save. I was also looking for another house cleaner after my previous one retired. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a good-dependable-responsible cleaner that I felt comfortable with! I had several referrals from friends and also used the Yelp project function that shoots out a bunch of quote requests to potential companies based on your 'project needs'. I had several replies but none of them worked out. Two made appointments to stop by to do a walk through/quote. Both were no shows. Yes, no shows! No call, no text, just made the appointment to do a walk through/quote and simply not show up! A few others threw out quotes without even stopping by to do a walk through or to simply ask me what it was that I wanted done. One cleaner in particular rubbed me the wrong way with her responses and especially when she said ... "Oh ... a renovation? I start at $500. It only goes up from there." I was just about to give up when Carolina messaged me. She seemed polite and was easy to communicate with. When she stopped by, she was very nice and seemed super chill. She asked me a few questions about exactly what it was that I wanted done. She provided me with a very reasonable quote for my 'post-renovation' cleaning. Carolina arrived right on time on the scheduled day. I'm not going to go into details however all I can say is that she did an excellent job and made my home feel like my home again. I'm not gonna lie ... living out of boxes and moving things around during the renovation was very stressful. I'm a pretty clean/neat person so you can only imagine how I felt with workers constantly coming into my house and all the drywall dust and 'dirtiness' around me. Carolina did such a good job, I am now hiring her to do a maintenance cleaning every three weeks. I figure it's a win-win ... she gets a new regular client and hopefully I get to not have to hunt for a good house cleaner for the foreseeable future. : )

The price Carolina charged for the service was fair, and I plan on using her services again on a set schedule. Mahalo, Carolina for all your help and flexibility.
