They updated their menus, added several rolls drinks and sesame cheesecake dessert; their serving became fancier like bigger plates, decorated dessert and better menu book by adding photos which made it easier to decide. I think the price is still the same or maybe had a change but just minimal. So far the goma-ae, chicken nanban and grouse mountain sushi were delicious, it was an nice experience and kinda excited to see try the other rolls.

We had a large group of 13 and received a partitioned section just for us. As mentioned by others,…read moreit's not much from the outside but once inside, the decor is very standard Japanese restaurant like with shoji walls and ample seating for a strip mall establishment. Our waitress was courteous and knows her menu. We ordered quite a mix of sushi and kitchen items. The sushi combos, especially the one for two people, have generous portions. In fact, most items did. The chirashi don was very nicely presented in an unusual elongated white bowl with fresh sashimi nicely arranged. My seafood tempura was so large with prawns, salmon, squids, and artificial crab. I added a bowl of rice and I was stuffed. The batter was nicely crispy and it tasted like they fried it to order instead of precooked. Yakisoba with beef was tasty with, again, a generous serving of beef. It's slightly different from the traditional Japanese taste but still good. The only hint that this was Korean owned and operated was the small offering of Korean dishes on the menu. Otherwise, given the vicinity, this is an excellent restaurant providing great value.

This time, I stopped in for lunch and had the vegetarian bento, it was amazing. My fiancé had a pork ramen, which is also incredible here. The restaurant is small and cozy, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming for dinner, as it does book up. They're always super attentive about my peanut allergy, I've never had any issues, and they don't seem to use peanuts in the kitchen! I've celebrated birthdays here and recommended it to so many friends and family over the years. It's an absolute favorite, and I'll always keep coming back!

One thing that I noticed was that one piece of oshi was missing a big chunk of tuna. Service was friendly and efficient. I thought their sushi making machine was pretty neat. 3.5 stars

Made the meal even more appealing (we eat with our eyes first as they say). We ordered the following: Spouses order: The Tuna & Salmon sashimi was fresh and looked amazing (as weird as that may sound). Grilled salmon cheek was perfection. Sunomono salad was delicious & refreshing. Cream cheese/mango/avocado roll also amazing. My order: Agadashi Tofu (spicy) was delicious, coating was light & crisp. Was happy to see that they didn't slather it with the sauce but served on the side. Gyoza (pork) were delicious and I quite enjoyed the filling. Kimchi Tofu was out of this world and I would definitely order it again. Look forward to going back and exploring the menu, a lot of good things to choose from.

The quality and presentation was great for the price. The Tsawwassen Set was a good lunch combo and offered a bit of everything. There was a choice of chicken or beef teriyaki plus miso soup, sashimi, California roll, tempura, and ebi sunomono. The salmon oshi was made well too and was super tasty. The aburi was also fresh and nicely prepared. Plain udon was alright. I ordered it for my child because he loves noodles. Service was great.
