Now the cooking begins, we ordered fresh thin sliced pork belly twice. It was soooo good. If you want that crisp, you need to let them leave it a little longer. Initially, the waitress who seated us attempted to explain that there were no seats available for parties of 6, claiming they were all taken. I pointed out how this would lead to inconvenience, especially since we were doing a self-serve hot pot and BBQ. Interestingly, they managed to seat us at one of the many tables designated for a party of 6. They mentioned that some customers prefer "not to be seated too far" from the self-serve bar, which is why they initially suggested the booth. In my opinion, it would have been more appropriate to offer us a choice rather than lying to us by saying there were no tables available. Just to keep in mind, the restaurant was only 35% full and not busy at all. This all took place at the start before we even ordered anything else. I never anticipated feeling as though I was pulling teeth to seek for accommodation while they had over four tables for parties of six available. I was simply here with my family to enjoy a weekend lunch and make it easy for family's needs.
