Their attention to detail is exceptional, even when it comes to the smallest aspects of the job. The finished result looks fantastic. Beyond painting, Vinh is also highly knowledgeable in other areas. He helped me identify and fix an incorrect hot wire connection in a subpanel that had been causing electrical issues in the house. It was a relatively difficult problem that other electricians had been unable to resolve, but Vinh's experience and expertise allowed him to diagnose and fix it quickly. Quality workmanship usually doesn't come cheap. However, Vinh offered me a very reasonable price, and considering the results, I believe it was an outstanding value. Affordable painting did a horrible job. Mike the owner made 100 promises and completed about 10. He…read moredidn't take any notes while on the job walk estimate. He checked a few boxes on a page of paper he had. He had hand surgery, a week before. He conveniently forgot about all the issues we talked about. I had 3 other professional painter submit quotes. When I asked him back he reassured me all would be taken care of. He diluted the expensive paint I ask for. He sprayed didn't back roll over. He didn't scrap or sand any pealing areas we discussed about, (see photos) he did a horrible job of fixing cracks that have now come back, he dumped paint other materials down my sewage drains, until I caught him at it. He did a half ass on the whole project His job on the front of my house replacement of siding which needs to be replaced now. Its paint is pealing and siding is bowing out word. ( see photos )He didn't use the proper T&G siding. He found and used inferior materials. He taped off all the windows on our home and held us hostage in our home for 3 weeks, he dumped hazardous chemicals in my back yard in back of my storage shed, trying to hide that. He broke our backyard garden water back flow prevention devise. (See photos) He sprayed our brand new heating and cooling system air conditioner coils with paint, instead of taping them off as I asked. He didn't repair some places that the roofers left after they had to make holes in siding and facia boards. He didn't replace structural 2X 4 boards but posted pictures of my home on line as completed. He got over spray on the body of the house with black paint. He painted our entry door and side doors with one coat of paint only. He would not give a materials used and quantities when asked. We observed him diluting the paint when manufacture says do not dilute it. I'd wouldn't recommend you do not business with Affordable painting for any services.

They were recommended by our very good friends that just had them paint their whole house and they were very happy. I called them Monday morning and Pete came out the same day and gave me a quote on the spot, and I said "yes let's do it, when can you start?" He says how about this Wednesday. Woah that was easy! I had already received 2 other estimates from other painters on Yelp, so I was ready to get started. So the guys show up at 8am on Wednesday and start priming the wood. They worked from 8am til 5pm on Wednesday and Thursday, then finished the job at noon on Friday. Nice! The color was perfect and they give a one year guarantee so if it needs some touch up, Pete says they will come back and do the touch up. Good price and excellent workmanship. The crew left their tools at our place overnight (totally acceptable) and there was wet paint and open paint cans on the plastic throughout the condo. Our pup was getting it on her paws. We were told we could live like normal after 5p but it wasn't possible for us. -there is paint on some surfaces that I will have to remove. In their defense I did not point the places out to them because I did not notice most of them until after the crew left. Paint got eeeeeeeeverywhere. Even inside desk drawers and the dishwasher. It kind of blew my mind because they did an excellent Dexter-level plastic wrap job of the place from what I could tell! -the sheen was wrong in a couple areas. They were fixed free of charge very quickly.

They were punctual each day, coming in at 8:00am and doing a full days work. They were meticulous with the details. When I was thinking of doing the same project I had gotten few recommendations from work too. I had gotten a number of quotes, but Samuel who came to give me a quote had walked me through how they would address some of the stucco issues from the get go. He patiently explained the steps and what to expect. I selected him despite some competitive quotes and I am glad I made that choice. As the project progressed, I noticed minor blemishes on a door that was being finished and asked the painter to ensure he addresses this. For sure he did, he stripped the paint that he had put on few hours earlier do to the bare wood and undercoat then repainted it to ensure it was blemish free. Throughout the project they had carefully prepared the ground with covering to avoid any paint spills on the floor. They worked an unexpected level of detail, including picking up a new side door and installing it too. Yes, they cleaned up each day and all in all did a fantastic job. You will not be disappointed with Samuel and his team. He is polite and always smiling and open for possibilities rather than closed of mind.
