I ordered the new Crabby Cakes Slider meal. The crab cakes were better than expected. I didn't know it would be so good from a fast food restaurant. It was hot, fresh and delicious! The dill tartar sauce is amazing and adds the perfect pop of flavor. If you haven't had them, try them before it's gone. The drive thru customer service was courteous with a smile, fast, thorough and read my order back to me to ensure accuracy. I also ordered cheese Krystals, regular Krystals and fries. I'm one of those people that doesn't ever leave reviews. But today I felt like I had to. Krystal is one of my favorite "bad for you" foods. This location has rude employees and you will absolutely wait in like for at least 20 minutes without having your order taken. When I said hello into the speaker, I was yelled at after being there for 25 minutes. Love Krystal but not this one. read more

Workers are rude, will completely walk away from the microphone during lunch and a majority of the day. Expect to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru before someone asks you what you want. Food has a 20% chance of being what you asked for. Last time I went there, I ordered a sack full of cheese burgers with nothing but meat and cheese. I of course waited 10 minutes to even get a response at the order station. When I gave her my card, she walked off with my card out of sight and came back to the window and told me it would be 15 minutes. She tried closing the window and I stopped her and asked where my card was. Eventually I got my food which was barely warm, and of course not correct. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. We just moved to the area and was very excited for a Krystal's next to our house. We were strongly disappointed when we got up to the drive thru and waited for 15 minutes after being told "hang on"despite there being NO LINE. After waiting, we pulled up to the window and waited for them to open it but they stood there at the window and stared at us. This was extremely unprofessional behavior and we won't be back. read more

This was a fantastic location for Crystal burgers! I love Crystal burgers no matter where I go but this location far exceeded my expectations due to the outstanding staff that work there. The ladies that work at this location more fun loving charismatic genuinely thought women who I was lucky enough to have spent a few moments with. My girlfriend and I were returning to Charleston from Atlanta and we stop by to grab some burgers. The burgers were fresh and extremely tasty the location was perfectly nestled on a busy intersection where the entrances were easily accessible. I was also given a discount for being in the military. I was blown away that a military discount was available. This to me sets this business apart from the rest. Thank you again for a wonderful experience and great food! read more

Too bad this is the only crystals in Covington. Every time that I have went there I've always left with no food. The first two times that I went there they came on the speaker in the Drive-Thru and stated that we had to come in to order. So what is the point of an actual drive-through then? Today I just went there and was told that they could not take my order because they were in the middle of a shift change. Maybe they need to hire new help or get new management. Seems to me that the workers are very lazy and just make excuses every time to not have to work. read more

I was informed the registers were down when I pulled into the drive in line and was told I could place an online order if I could get it to work just to sit in the parking lot and watch 3 other cars go through the line that were a different color than me if you get what I'm saying and they all placed an order and was served through the drive through and that's not the first time it's happened either they constantly say there having issue or there equipment is down. read more

Never had a more uncomfortable experience inside a fast food store. The employees behind the counter started threatening one of the other employees over money and I wanted to walk out before getting my food, but was too afraid to ask for a refund since everyone seemed so hostile. It started when my fiancée and I first parked and the car next to us reeked of weed. Turned out the people in there were employees since we later saw them come in and go behind the counter. A short white lady who seemed new, or didn't understand what she was doing, tried taking our order. When she went to make the milkshake she asked one of the other employees for help. The other employee was angry because she did it wrong and started threatening her because this lady apparently owes her $55. The lady kept saying "well I don't even have a car". Another female employee also threatened her, saying that she needed to find it before she ended up in the woods. At this rate I wanted to ask for a refund and leave but with how hostile they were, and the other lady not knowing how to use register, I was too afraid to. I didn't want to eat inside, let alone in the same parking lot. I will absolutely never go back to this location again. This occurred on March 15, 2022 around 3:45pm. read more

This was my first time visiting the krystals on 278 at night time it was around 9ish I came in the front I didn't get the cashiers name but she approached me with a pretty smile any-who i had a 24 krystals some chicks and some other things she made sure my order was fulfilled correctly wasn't to long of a wait she gave me my order and let me know what else I was waiting on. your staff are diligently caring about the customers I hope you all let them know to keep up the good work I'll definitely be back! read more

I ordered a sackful tonight, and wanted a 24 count, but the cashier didn't ask and assumed I wanted 12. once I got to window, I did make it clear I wanted 24. so the manager told her to ring up another 12. once I received my receipt I questioned the cashier. She finally got the manager involved and I questioned the additional cost. The manager began to argue with me and yelled at me telling me I was a liar. She told me it would cost me more to re-ring my order correctly. when I questioned how she backtracked and explained the signs are wrong. I asked if it was 19.06 as the sign stated and she then changed her story. all the while she is arguing and yelling with a male coworker. I have my receipt and my son recorded half of the conversation. I have worked in retail/customer service for 22 years and it is out of character for to complain because I get it. However, I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I simply wanted her to correct my total since they assumed what I wanted to order instead of asking. I was trying my best to be patient, but once I was called a liar, that kind of ruined any chance of me being civil. The male employee the manager was arguing with initially also chimed in because I was holding up the drive thru, also not helpful. it is a shame that my 10 year old son was in the car and had too witness their behavior. Slow, understaffed. Order was served missing items. Had to wait in line to get resolved, missing items was wrong on ticket (not sure who's fault) host made zero attempt to change to wanted item, just retrieved missing items. Could gave refunded & reordered, charged me price difference or had "Customer's always right" approach and provided me what I really wanted. Good just okay. read more

Absolute worst service ever relieved at a Krystle. They were obviously NOT understaffed during my visit, as there was people just wandering around. It took way too long for someone to come take our order, and when they finally did, had to wait about 10 minutes for our food to be brought out, during which time two other customers left because nobody took their orders. After walking out with our food and getting half way to the car, we realized we had the wrong order. We brought it back and they gave it to someone else who came in after us, and we had to wait another 10-15 minutes before we got ours.
