I ordered three 6piece, tender meals $40.00 OMG the food was cold ... The server sucks couldn't even get refills on our drinks. They were too busy talking in the back and looking at us. This is the first time eating here and this is the last time eating here. . Over priced big time .... I waited 20 minutes inside no customers . How in the world is this place still open? Save yourself some money go eat somewhere else that appreciates your hard earned money.

No food and they're not busy either.

This store is run horribly and is an insult to the popeyes franchise. The staff are preparing for without masks there is never any chicken ready or biscuits or fries, you would think they'd know when to start making more food. Whoever owns this restaurant please check your establishment. And this is when its not busy so there's no excuse

All Hat and no Cattle ... Or in this case Chicken.

In lieu of my usual Chicken Wings, I decided to try Popeye's recently reintroduced Chicken Nuggets tonight. And unfortunately as we say here in Georgia, they were all hat and no Cattle ... or in this case Chicken. Anyway, lots of crunch from lots of fried batter coating very little Chicken. The one bright spot was their accompanying Bayou Buffalo dipping sauce. Granted not enough heat to scald a wet dog, but it did provide a pleasant amount of spice.

As scary as it is - in the midst of this pandemic - people are risking their lives to make ends meet and survive as essential workers. With that said, all the more reason for employees of this location to have some sense of pride in the food they serve as it's other people spending their struggle money INTENTIONALLY to ensure YOU can take care of your needs. "WE" gotta do better

Very slow service at drive thru. Cars leaving left and right. Just the slowest service ever. Do they not care? Ridiculous! Filthy parking lot and window glass at drove through.

Trash. Debris. This is what we see when we go through the drive through.

Don't come here after 8-9pm , they're always "sold out of chicken". Most likely poorly managed, and the employees are rude as well.

We noticed two drinks sitting on the counter and politely asked an employee if there was an order for Faith. She gave us a rude look and bluntly told us no. After waiting another 10 minutes, we decided to ask again, only for the same employee to casually say, "Yeah, those are probably yours. I just forgot." No apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, absolutely nothing. Instead, she told us we could taste the drinks to make sure they were ours. So not only were our drinks sitting there getting cold while we waited unnecessarily, but we were also met with an attitude for simply asking about an order we had already paid for. Mistakes happen, and that's completely understandable, but the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy was unacceptable. A simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience for asking where our drinks were. Extremely disappointing experience. Customer service should not be this difficult.

It is important to note…read morethey have a rotating, seasonal menu, which also means you cannot locate their present menu online nor can you rely on that to decide what you'll have when you're there. I speak from experience as the hanger steak my brother saw online and wanted (which made us pick this restaurant) was not available this particular evening. On to the better stuff: I really liked their welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary sourdough bread was immediately served as well as celebratory champagne for my little brother's birthday. We started with the hush puppies appetizer and the French onion dip, which came with a bag of Zappo's potato chips. For dinner, I ordered the four cheese pasta, which I was informed is made in-house and is leaving the menu very soon. My only complaint was the size of the wine pours. When I inquired, they stated the pour was 6 ounces. The kind surprise was a generous top off when they sensed my disappointment. Their kids' menu -which isn't printed - is a little limited. Kids can pick from grilled cheese, chicken skewers, and a hamburger. One kiddo had a hamburger and my son snacked on their shoestring fries. All other adults ordered burgers and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. One more complimentary surprise showed up near the end of dinner which was a miniature Keylime pie in celebration of my brother's bday. Back home, we have very few restaurants that offer so many complimentary items. That definitely sets this restaurant apart from others. Also, having a small menu means they likely give lots of attention to the entrees they serve. Definitely recommend City Pharmacy!

There are not a lot of choices in Covington so we continue to come back and hope for the best! I will say it's on the pricey side for what you are actually receiving. Small suggestions that the restaurant could do to make it have more ambiance is to clean the bathrooms, sweep up the floor before opening.... There's just definitely a dirty feel and it is not Upscale the way I think the bar and front of house want to present. These little things definitely affect the ambience and it's been noticeable each time we visited.

Tonight we made our way to The Social Goat in Covington, Georgia. Before we even get to the food,…read morethis is the kind of restaurant that has a personality all its own. Goat-themed artwork is scattered throughout the restaurant, including some fun paintings that immediately caught our attention. The atmosphere feels more like a cozy tavern than a traditional taco restaurant, with dark wood, booths, and a comfortable setting that invites you to settle in and stay awhile. One interesting piece of local history is the building itself. We learned that in 1906, this building housed an antique market. Think about that for a moment. If someone was selling antiques here in 1906, some of those "antiques" might have been from the 1800s. More than a century later, the building is still serving visitors, although these days the focus is tacos rather than antiques. Covington itself is worth mentioning. The city has become known as Georgia's Hollywood of the South, with more than 100 movies and television productions filmed here over the years. Fans of The Vampire Diaries and Sweet Magnolias will recognize many locations around town. If you're visiting the area, there is plenty to see before or after dinner. Our server for the evening was Jordan, who provided friendly service throughout the meal. The menu features eleven different taco varieties, which immediately created a dilemma. Narrowing the choices down to just three was not easy. We ultimately chose the Fried Fish Taco, the Philly Taco, and the Sesame Ribeye Taco. The tacos are available as a trio, allowing you to sample three different varieties on one platter. The meal also came with chips, salsa, and queso, making it easy to share and compare flavors. Let's start with the Fried Fish Taco because it ended up being my favorite of the three. The fish itself had excellent flavor and was cooked just right. The taco was topped with a sauce that brought a unique flavor to the experience, and the crunchy slaw added texture that worked beautifully with the fish. Every component contributed something to the overall bite. This was the taco that surprised me the most and ultimately earned the top spot in my personal ranking. The Philly Taco finished a very close second. If you're a fan of Philly cheesesteaks, you'll immediately understand the appeal. Loaded with shaved ribeye, peppers, onions, and cheese, it delivered exactly the flavors I was hoping for. It was rich, satisfying, and packed with flavor. Sometimes simple combinations work for a reason, and this taco proved that point. The Sesame Ribeye Taco was the most unique of the three. The sesame-soy flavor was bold and immediately noticeable. I enjoyed the flavor profile and appreciated that it took the taco in a different direction than what I typically experience. Rather than trying to imitate a traditional taco, it offered something distinct and memorable. Anyone looking for a creative twist on a taco will likely find this one especially interesting. One thing I appreciated about the trio platter was the opportunity to compare very different flavor profiles side by side. The Fried Fish Taco offered a balance of fish, sauce, and crunch. The Philly Taco delivered familiar comfort-food flavors. The Sesame Ribeye Taco brought a bold and unique flavor profile to the table. Each taco had its own personality, which made the comparison part of the fun. The chips were crisp, the salsa was fresh, and the queso provided a nice complement to the tacos. Combined with the trio platter, it was more than enough food for a satisfying meal. The Social Goat manages to be more than just a taco stop. Between the historic building, the goat-themed decor, the welcoming tavern atmosphere, and a menu filled with creative options, it offers an experience that stands out from the typical restaurant visit. If we return, and there is a good chance we will, there are still eight taco varieties left for us to investigate. The Social Goat Tavern 1115 Church Street Covington, GA 30014

This location is The Man Cave. There is outdoor seating if you prefer fresh air. As we walked in we were greeted by Ms. Pat. She was very sweet and attentive. She informed us they have been there a year and invited us to come back for the New Years celebration. The interior is larger than it looks from the outside. There are booth seats that line the wall with maybe 30 small tables that have a chair. The booth seats are red with black tables/chairs. There is a small stage upfront possibly for the band or artist that sings. It's not large enough for a full band. There is another space for the hostess on the other side. The bar area is towards the rear where maybe 6 or 7 can sit. Ms. Pat took our order shortly after being seated. I ordered collards, yams, fried okra and 4 fried whole wings. You get a meat and 2 sides but I was being greedy! . My husband ordered dressing, smoked ribs, yams and cornbread. I enjoyed my lunch. The chicken wings were very small and that's how I like them. No one wants wings on steroids! Fried crispy and golden. Perfectly seasoned! The collards were delicious. Seasoned with smoked turkey. Okra was delicious fried just right. Crispy! The yams were not too sweet just right. My husband ordered the dressing bc Ms. Pat noted it was a favorite amongst the other guests. He wasn't too crazy about it but it was ok. The ribs were not seasoned enough. The sauce covered the meat so you were not able to really taste the "rib" but it was ok. He says he would not order again. The yams were perfect as I stated earlier. We were offered the Peach Cobbler but since we both had yams we declined the cobbler. Overall, we enjoyed it. Will come back and try other items on the menu. It is a very casual setting. If you want to dress up, go for it but the vibe is very casual. They are closed on Monday.
