Monday 7/29/26 , 6:55 pm, went thru drive thru. Ordered (2) #9s with hot peppers and to cut them in half. Seemed to be taking longer than usual as we get the same subs every week. Drove to Conyers 13 miles away. Opened the bag and placed subs on our plates. The 1st sub unwrapped didn't have any bread, What the heck? Just some meat wrapped in lettuce. 2nd sub looked normal in bread. My gf and I were dumb founded, wondering if this was some joke. Knowing we probably wouldn't return. I took pics and planned on going back to JJ's tomorrow. Looked at receipt and saw (2) #9s. Took pic of the receipt, that's when I noticed one sub had UNWICH below the entry. Other sub had had peppers and cut 1/2. Fortunately my gf had a large tortilla shell to put the messy contents in. I order these subs the same way every week, so knowing I ordered correctly. It was the JJ employee that screwed it up. Still planning on going there and complaining. read more

Went through the drive-thru, and the wait was longer than expected. This seems to be due more to the poor location and building/parking layout rather than the staff. However, the sandwich itself was fantastic--made exactly as I ordered it and tasted great. Would go back for the food, but the drive-thru setup could use some improvement. read more

Positives: our sandwiches were made correctly Other things to consider: When I walked in to pick up my order only one of 3 employees were wearing a mask. The one who had a mask wasn't wearing it over his nose. I walked out with my bag of food only to realize 1/2 of my order was missing. When I went back in to ask about it, an employee touched my remaining unwrapped sub with her ungloved hand... In summary I love Jimmy Johns & these sandwiches were yummy but I won't be returning to this location during this COVID crisis. read more

We love Jimmy John's normally but this location and staff are horrible. The front door is locked so we drove around back thinking we'd go through the drive through and saw an entrance in the back of the store. There were 3 staff members working. When we walked in, we were not greeted at all, and while standing in front of the counter reading the menu, listened to the gal working the drive though cussing repetitively even saying "what the fuck is wrong with people". Hopefully the owner of this location reads this and visits this store more frequently because it's bad. read more

Ordered online and 1.5 hours later the food had not arrived. No one answered the phone. Went to location. They were out of French bread. They made the sandwiches and forgot one of the four. This JJ location is the best! Big with lots of light and Windows. The staff is friendly and cheerful. The only thing is from the front side the place looks closed, you have to drive around d the back of the building to park and see that they are in business. read more

This was my go-to restaurant for sandwiches in Covington for years. The last year and a half, employees constantly leave sandwiches off orders, add Mayo when asked to leave off (it's on the receipt as well to leave it off) and time-after-time, close hours early. This last week, my sandwich was left off, I returned for the sandwich, claimed I was just trying to get something free. It's ok Jimmie Johns, I'll go to Goldens Deli from now on. read more

This locations isvery fast and efficient and for them to be 10 mins from my home, I was surprised they still here delivered, and quickly too! Their selection is not exactly the most variable, compared to Subway or Firehouse Subs, but it is a good selection. The only thing I dont like is having to pay for toppings individually. At any other sub shop the toppings are all included in the price, but here therr are only cold subs that are six dollars for a 7 inch meat only sub. I wish Jimmy Johns had hot subs like subway and were better priced for their size. read more

I have been here a couple of times since it opened. I watched with anticipation as this place was going in because I had heard radio ads as well as some "buzz" from people that live out of town. I was super excited to have JJ in Covington! My experiences have been great and they keep getting better. I think there were some opening service hiccups. My first sandwich had to be remade.... but they happily did it and the manager went out of his way to apologize for the mistake. No big deal. Since that time they totally seem to have worked the service out and the sandwiches have always been great!!! My favorite so far is the #16, Club Lulu. Its basically a turkey and bacon club and its delicious even as an "unwich" (which my wife got) which comes without the bread. They slice the meats and veggies in the shop (I asked). Sliced in the store makes a HUGE difference and you can tell its not coming out of a giant bag. I gotta say, I LOVE the drive through and delivery options. Wasnt sure how that was going to work in a sandwich joint.... but it totally does!! The delivery option is awesome. I was totally surprised that they were able to send out a single sub to the office when I was too busy to get out for lunch!!!! When I am in a hurry sandwich shops are usually off the mental list of options because they take sooooo long, but with JJ its totally doable..... and its healthy. If you have never been before, the menu is pretty straight forward. They have a ton of subs and some fixins. No pizza or other stuff a sub shop doesnt have any business trying to throw in the mix. They just focus on doing sandwiches and they are doing them really well!! I will definitely have them in my food rotation. read more

I went through the drive thru today, and sat for a few mins before being able to order, which was expected, as it was around lunch time. I ordered the SLIM #5, in which I was given the Vito, therefore I had to pay the higher price. My sandwich was completely disgusting. I had to make myself eat it because I was just so hungry. The lettuce was awful, in tiny shreds drenched in oil, which I didn't ask for. I also asked for no onion, and there were onions. I wont be returning. I would rather have a sub from somewhere else. Not even worth the 5.98 that I paid for it. read more

So happy to have one in Covington now. As usual, I had the Big John - doesn't disappoint! This is a new location, so everything is clean and nice. The access is from the rear of the building, so when pulling off of the road, drive to the back of the building. There is plenty of parking there. I'll will be back. read more

Food is pretty good. Sandwiches are usually well put together and a nice size. I usually get delivery, which isn't the fastest. But it's mainly because I don't feel like getting out. It is kind of discerning when they are known for their "freaky fast" delivery. But if the food is good I don't mind a little bit of a wait for the convenience of not having to get out. Pretty good prices as well. read more

This JJ's is great! The food is always excellent. I've never been in the store but order from them often, especially when I need a quick lunch. From the time I place my order until the time they arrive it averages 10 minutes. Who can beat that? I can't run out and get food and be back in 10 minutes. read more
