Not a true Thai food lover, so take this review for what it's worth. I told the very nice waiter (I think his name was Tran) that I wasn't keen on Thai food but loved Chinese. After he made a comical face at that, he pointed me in the direction of the most "Chinese-y" Thai food on the menu. I thought that was so nice of him, so I ordered shrimp with sweet and sour sauce. It was delicious! I would go back just for that and/or other dishes in that part of the menu (however I did miss the crispy noodles most Chinese restaurants add to dishes!) The restaurant itself is very nice and cozy. Dark, quiet, clean. I would definitely go back and request Tran's service again. People I know who love Thai food love this place. We visited Krua Thai this evening for dinner while on a trip through Stuart, Florida, and could not possibly have had a better experience. We were greeted warmly by the staff, and welcomed in from the rain. We chose the Seafood Lover special with a small side salad with peanut dressing, plus a Nam Sod Salad with chicken. We had a short but humorous discussion with our server about spice levels (she suggested Zero on a scale of 1 to 10, which turned out perfectly). Moments later, our side salad came out, and we devoured it. The peanut dressing was fabulous ("we make it here" our server proudly said). A few minutes later, we noticed a couple arriving just as the rain started pouring down. One of the staff went out with a golf umbrella and escorted them in. The staffer got wet, but the couple stayed dry! Extremely considerate. The couple greeted the staff warmly and with familiarity. I asked them if they were regulars, and they said yes, and that we were lucky to find the restaurant. We really enjoyed the Nam Sod Salad, which had crisp lettuce and crunchy chicken and peanut chips. Vinegar-based dressing finished it off very nicely. The Seafood Lover platter came out with mussels, calamari, scallops, fish, shrimp, and fresh vegetables including snow peas, broccoli, slivered carrots, and red onion. The seafood was firm and absolutely fresh. The veggies were cooked but still crisp. Wonderful. When we were done, we got a bill for $44.94. I was happy to tip just a bit over 20% to bring our total to $54. Rain had picked up when we were leaving, and the staffer helped my wife out to our car while I made a dash for it. Again, very considerate. It's a shame that we live near Los Angeles, and Krua Thai is in Stuart. Otherwise, we'd be there every week. read more

Been there few times. Sometimes food is really good sometimes not as good. I love Khao Soi which they call Chiang Mai noodles and first time I had it there it was good though they use chicken breast slices instead of drumsticks (big mistake). The other times it was just okay. It is also a bit pricey. Service is usually pretty good and because it's a small place the ambiance is just fine. Suggestions: consistency and use drumsticks for Khao Soi. read more

One cool tropical evening after 8p.m. it was time for my feeding , so I parked to admire the lights and foot traffic when i noticed the cornered KruabThai restaurant, my decision was made to enter and try 3 menu selections; ginger rice soup, spring rolls, and the wontons with side sauce. At a friend's suggestion, this place has made the list of favorite Thai restaurants in this area. The decor gives it a romantic ambiance and the food was delightful. Our Thai iced tea came super quickly and our dinner started with a house salad with the best peanut dressing I've ever had. Our waiter/host was courteous and polite. Best Thai food in town. We ate here with my folks. Had several appetizers. The curry puffs the goyza and spring rolls followed by the Saigon noodles, pineapple friend rice, the Panamax curry and the ginger sauce chicken and vegetables. Everyone ate all their dinner!! Great Thai food with exceptional service. Everyone was so nice and had the biggest smile on their face. You can definitely tell they wanted to please their customers. They had a lot of take out, but there was a good amount of tables with people eating in. Their decor is bright and modern With Thai deco accents. We ordered a fish with tamarind sauce and a beef pad Thai. Both had a side salad with peanut sauce. Excellent flavors for both entrees and salad. The tamarind is sweet and is a nice highlight with the fried fish. The pad thai was good but I definitely liked the fish much better which is perfect bc that was my order. Salad was just as tasty with peanut sauce. You can also choose lemongrass. If you are looking for Thai food in Stuart, check them out. This is the second Thai restaurant I've tried in the area. This area is very pressed for authentic foods, so we were definitely excited to find Krua Thai. We love ordering their Chiangmai noodles (Khao Soi), it's the best one we've found in Florida. You can get the chili oil on the side to determine level of spice also, which is the perfect option. It comes with a salad that has a peanut sauce topping that is the best. This is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The menu features are simply bursting with flavor. But if you love a Lao /Thai blend, come here. The chef is well versed in Lao additional requests. Ask for the Thai Menu, its slightly different. I started with the papaya salad with Lao style salted crab. It was well made and yummy. The Thai sausages were bomb and a must order! My curry dish was exactly how I imagined curry to be when I visited in Thailand last year. To top it off, the service was attentive and knowledgeable, making the dining experience truly exceptional. I left feeling satisfied, impressed, and eager to return being from California. It's hard to find a place that can make Thai/Lao food upon request.
