That said, Paul is a wonderful asset to his community and among the most intelligent people I've ever met in my life. He brings people up and never puts anyone down. He is a fountain of enlightenment and I would recommended his therapy personally as he's made positive tangible impact on my life. He is professional, courteous, empathetic and thoughtful. i was referred to Elisabeth by a psychologist, and did a consultation and felt seen and heard…read moreduring the consult. I went to schedule the first session and filled out all the paperwork beforehand, including a basic history, etc, which requires vulnerability. Five minutes before our session I had no link to join online, which, as someone who likes to have a basic sense of punctuality, was anxiety-inducing; She promptly texted she would send the link at the time of our session when I inquired where the link was. I find this last minute email/delay unnecessary as a new patient and felt off-put, but still open. When I got on the call the person I saw on her website under "About Elisabeth" and the person who was in front of me were markedly different, in appearance. This was enough for me to end the session, as part of therapy is establishing a sense of trust and safety and congruence is paramount to both of those. Elisabeth did not charge me for the session (for which I expressed my gratitude), but I did feel exhausted from all of the work it took to get to session #1 only to feel like I was dealing with false advertising, regardless of intent. I would encourage Elisabeth to update her photos --she said she is light sensitive, but I really don't know what to say about that because this is a professional setting and thusly there needs to be a level of professionalism so that her patients know who they are getting.
