I realized due to horrible weather conditions and traffic I would be a few minutes late. Common courtesy...I called to let the receptionist know. She advised me I would have to reschedule. Mind you it was 2:32 when I made the call..my appointment was 2:30. I let her know at that point I was literally on their road. I arrived at 2:35 and was informed but the office I could not be seen. In their words "that was Dr. Nardi's decision." Mind you, there was 1 patient leaving and when I arrived no one waiting. Needless to say I will be finding another physician after all the days and hours I have spent waiting in that waiting room.

Interviewed Dr. Nardi and was impressed with his philosophy of care. We've been going to him for 8 months and are more than satisfied. Our appointments are never rushed, and our wait times are very short. He or his staff always returns our calls promptly. His office is beautifully decorated and peaceful. He is one of the very few doctors in Gainesville who is not part of a group practice. His office is open M-Th, and on Friday he volunteers at the hospice. As far as I am concerned, we're getting concierge level service!

I'm a nurse, and worked with Dr Odom during his residency. I was so impressed with him, I remember thinking "if Dr Odom opens a practice locally--I'm going to HIM!" Thankfully, that was the case. He's very smart, he listens, and then provides thoughtful, quality healthcare. His Nurse Practitioner, Erin, is wonderful as well. They stay very busy! Book early--they're worth it!!

I was there someone who we thought might be suffering from appendicitis. He kept us in the room for two or three hours while he verified all the test that indeed it was that rather than some of the other problems that can manifest with the same symptoms he prescribed treatment with antibiotics and she is doing very well. I don't just recommend the facility. I recommend this as a very unusual old-school. Very careful very up-to-date on the literature healer that can be a person for anyone in need.

Ramp to the sidewalk leads to steps in both directions. I'm in a wheelchair . Office Staff said yea, no one ever knows how to get in and they don't know why they don't have signs. My daughter used the stairs and found out I needed to go in the street and enter through a side entrance where they have a single wheelchair lift inside. Then we find out although their Website says they accept my insurance, they don't. The receptionist says everyone tells them that they accept this insurance but they do not. Said no one can ever show her where it says that they do, like somehow we all imagine it. Within 30 seconds showed her and yes, says it right there. Not like it would change anything but now maybe they can change it. Still, my insurance no longer accepts my previous doctor and my new doctor can't see me for 3 months. I have multiple sclerosis and need medication and new handicap placard. $220 for a visit plus any tests they need, but I have no choice, I have to see someone. I paid the fee. While waiting to be called back, they let me know they can't fill out a form for placard. Initially it was because they didn't have a form. Then it was because although they have the placard required MD ( as opposed to DO, NP, etc) they are not authorized to fill out the form. By then I gave up. It shouldn't be this hard. When we were leaving, the receptionist pointed at the lift I should use so I didn't have to go in the street around the bank to use the outdoor ramp. Never used one like this before . The ramp was steep and I was nervous about tipping back but my daughter helped me use it. Not any offer of any assistance. This place was empty. A walk in clinic with no one in or out the 30 minutes we were there. I think I know why lol. The receptionist was polite. Just unhelpful. As she was aware of all of these issues, one would think someone would do something to resolve them.

She is very easy to talk to and open to discussing any problems and is even open to the patients feelings and expectations. Her support staff is very helpful and quick, even for someone like me who hates the doctor. So far, she has been very clear and I am on the way to a solution I like. Bear in mind a man is writing this review, so if I am made to feel comfortable both in the exam and intellectually, she must be doing something right.
