I've requested support multiple times, including a case worker, social worker, and a referral to UF SmartDriver, as my father has been becoming angrier and more aggressive. His behavior has directly impacted my mother's care, as he prematurely signed her out of urgent care against medical advice, which nearly cost her life due to his cognitive decline. This lack of support and communication is unacceptable, especially given the gravity of the situation.

I have been treated with kindness and care, and there were even a few times that they went above and beyond for me. The several visits I've had there overall they were quite pleasant from the minute I came in until I left. When you're in pain you feel like the whole world is your enemy and you want someone to understand and treat you with kindness & care and to my surprise I was greeted kindly upon arrival, treated with care for my pain issues, and upon leaving I was greeted warmly. I've have great experiences with Robin, Brandy, Kendall, Nurses Kelly & Jessica, and Dr. Calderin who has left, and even greater experiences with Dr. Valentine. Dr Valentine is absolutely a great doctor with an even greater bedside manner. He actually listens to you and will take good care of you.

Ramp to the sidewalk leads to steps in both directions. I'm in a wheelchair . Office Staff said yea, no one ever knows how to get in and they don't know why they don't have signs. My daughter used the stairs and found out I needed to go in the street and enter through a side entrance where they have a single wheelchair lift inside. Then we find out although their Website says they accept my insurance, they don't. The receptionist says everyone tells them that they accept this insurance but they do not. Said no one can ever show her where it says that they do, like somehow we all imagine it. Within 30 seconds showed her and yes, says it right there. Not like it would change anything but now maybe they can change it. Still, my insurance no longer accepts my previous doctor and my new doctor can't see me for 3 months. I have multiple sclerosis and need medication and new handicap placard. $220 for a visit plus any tests they need, but I have no choice, I have to see someone. I paid the fee. While waiting to be called back, they let me know they can't fill out a form for placard. Initially it was because they didn't have a form. Then it was because although they have the placard required MD ( as opposed to DO, NP, etc) they are not authorized to fill out the form. By then I gave up. It shouldn't be this hard. When we were leaving, the receptionist pointed at the lift I should use so I didn't have to go in the street around the bank to use the outdoor ramp. Never used one like this before . The ramp was steep and I was nervous about tipping back but my daughter helped me use it. Not any offer of any assistance. This place was empty. A walk in clinic with no one in or out the 30 minutes we were there. I think I know why lol. The receptionist was polite. Just unhelpful. As she was aware of all of these issues, one would think someone would do something to resolve them.

Every time I've been here the doctors have been extremely offensive. Their way of communicating is…read moreactually insulting. I saw one doctor for more than a year who never listened to any of my concerns and only focused on my weight as someone who has always been slender my entire life. She would literally focus on me being TWO pounds weight difference in a one month span instead of listening to my concerns. Today I told another doctor in the same office that one of the referrals they had given me was a really bad fit for me and I didn't wish to continue with said referral. The doctor immediately jumped to insisting I was the problem instead of the referral who made it very clear she had no clue what she was doing (she told me she never handled clients for my reason of referral and kept leaving to consult another doctor)... It's been my experience that the doctors of this office are assumptive, judgmental, and aren't fully concerned with the wellbeing of their patients...

I've gone to her vs. my primary care doctor for things like strep throat simply because it's far faster and the care is just as good. There's a couple members of the office staff who are less than impressive (I was incorrectly billed once and when I went in, in person, to speak with them about the error, the girl I spoke to looked at me as if I was speaking Klingon: if you work in medical billing, you should be able to read a medical bill, sorry) however, the medical staff from Dr. Diane Walker and Dr. Husband to the nurses, is superb. Dr. Martin, a physician who used to practice here but left for a primary care practice in Ocala, was also great--I've even considered switching over to him as my own primary care despite that he's now 45 minutes away: he was simply that good.
