I went in this store at the customer service desk to purchase lottery tickets and was told their customer service desk was closed very rudely. I come to this Kroger whenever I'm in the area. It is pretty close but not the closest Kroger to me. I never have any issues here. They're currently remodeling the store so the parking is a bit hectic as well as the store itself. I like the deli section. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this Kroger. Or did and it's gone? Whatever the case, here's my short review on it. I love Kroger in general. I love being a Plus Member. This Kroger is medium size. It's not huge as Duluth or Stone Mountain but bigger than the Norcross location. I find more items here than my usual spot in Norcross. Every time I come here, the employees are nice. They have more variety in their "healthy" section than others and is better organize. Out of all the self checkout's I've been to, Kroger has the quickest and best ones. I've stopped at this location several times since moving to the area. I've found it clean and mostly well stocked. Their produce is fresh and also well stocked. The handful of times I've needed to ask for assistance the employees have been happy to help and often gone out of their way to do so. I enjoy shopping here. read more

Terrible experience at self check out. It's not busy, just me and 2 other people. I needed a cashier to acknowledge my coupon, and another man needed the cashier to finalize his alcohol purchase. Tayleor was slowly refilling bags but she saw both of us standing there waiting for her. My kid is close to a meltdown. I'm waiting. She sees it and goes to the other man with the alcohol and then slowly refilling bags there. I asked her, can she come over and help me with my coupon. She said she needs to finish refilling her bags. Again it's not busy at all. Now there are just 2 people. It's clear she didn't want to help me. When she finally came she made rude comments to the other person about me rushing her. I truly don't understand what is the issue. I wasn't rushing and it wasn't busy. Doesn't take long to swipe a coupon. Why must you make someone wait. And why me? Then I realized I was the only person of a certain race when this happened. Done with Kroger. Horrific "customer service". I'm attempting to check out at self check out and the one item I'm purchasing does not ring up the sale price. I say excuse me to Andrea who's refilling bags across the aisle. I tell her my item is not ringing up correctly and ask for her assistance. She ignores me and continues to refill another set of bags. I finally asked her to come over and assist me, and she stops and helps 2 other people first. When she finally gets to me she looks at the screen and says which item are you asking about, and I inform her I'm only purchasing one item. She says if that's the way it's ringing up then that's the right price. I told her there were several sale signs in the aisle and she asked me if that's where I got it and I said yes. She repeated that if that's what it's ringing up that's the price. I asked her to go look for herself and she refused. I asked for the manager and she also refused, stating she was the only one working there. It's only 9 PM at night. I have never had a kroger refuse to honor their advertised price, they are normally very good about this kind of thing. I was shocked at her poor attitude, and she made it very clear that she did not want to help me. Then she had the nerve to yell at me on my way out that I had a bad attitude. Unbelievable. Needkess to say i left wothout the item i came for. This is kind of customer service is why I usually go to Publix. I will definitely never go back to this store. read more

When I can't go to my local whole foods store this Kroger is the next best thing for my organic, vegan needs! They are always fully stocked and the sales combined with my kroger plus card save me a whole lotta cheese. I have had to wait in long lines because they wouldn't open up lanes when they were busy, I don't get that?! read more

I've been to this Kroger a few times, which is kinda out of the way for me, but when I'm in the area, I'm glad it's here. Not the largest Kroger I've visited, but it does get the job done, with it's full deli, salad/olive bar and all of the typical sales you expect to find in Kroger. It's a clean store with friendly staff, but there are a few issues I have with this location. One of the few things I didn't like about this location at all is I began to look for the free Friday digital deals (you can download these every Friday either on their app or their website), which practically every Kroger location has a display near the front of the store. Not only did I not see a display where most other Kroger locations have their free Friday displays placed, but the actual product was nowhere to be found in the store. That sucks. Staff at Kroger were nice, asking as I walked by how my day was or if I found everything, which is always a nice touch, but since I used the self pay lane, I had no more customer/staff interaction to know if they were good or bad....generally they seem good. Located on Lawrenceville Highway, the thing I also don't like about this Kroger is their parking lot. Admittedly it's not Kroger's fault since they share space with Walmart and a few other stores, but while getting into the lot can be very easy, getting out is sometimes....most times....tough! There is one red light exit, but it too is sometimes difficult to locate if you haven't been here to know which location it is (trust me, it's not so obvious). Will I be back to this Kroger? Probably, especially if I'm in the area. The complaints I have aren't 100% Kroger specific, so if I'm in need of some quick groceries and I'm close, I'll check them out again. read more

Everything was fine. I just went to get groceries. I went through self check out with ny husband, mind you im pregnant, i don't want to be bothered and this lady wouldn't stop trying to help, i thank her for he gesture but told her we could handle it. She kept coming back to the point that i had to tell her to put my food down that we knew what we were doing and didn't need her help. This Lady said "if you wanted help you could have gone to the other lanes". First you are rude! I want my husband's help and second that nun of your business and third that doesn't make sense, i didn't ask for your help!. I for sure wont be going back here! Do yourself a favor and go to another Kroger if you need a lot of groceries! This store used to be pretty good, but things have been getting worse there. This location seems to never be too busy. Check out has always been fast and available. They have recently gone through renovation and revamp of everything inside. All items are organized differently then before. Much cleaner, nicer, and easy to navigate. If you haven't been since the remodeling, definitely check it out. In the immediate area, the other options are wal-mart, publix, and ingles and I'd say this is your best bet for options, speed, and convenience. read more

Nice clean Kroger grocery store. Prices are not quite as good as the Ingles in the next shopping plaza over but the shopping experience at Kroger is certainly better than the awful Walmart right next door. The deli area is the best part of this store but it can be hard to navigate with a shopping cart because of all the bakery department racks scattered all around. I think that Kroger pushes the self check out a bit too much and the wait times at the Kroger pharmacy can, at times, be a bit excessive. read more

Went to a check out lane with about 10 items, and was asked by the cashier (Madina) to go to a free lane. The woman in front of me was almost finished so there was no back-up. I told the cashier that I had already unloaded most of my items. There was then a delay while she figured out why the scanner wasn't working. When it came time to present my Kroger discount card, she told me impatiently how to scan it, and commented that they had had the scanner for a year so there was no reason for me not to know how to use it. I rarely go to that particular Kroger and the number has always been scanned by the cashier. So I looked at her pointedly and said, "Thank you for your patience!" Clearly dealing with people isn't her talent. read more

This location has a very rude lady at the self checkout. I know it might be busy because it is the holiday season but she made me pay $1.49 a pound the $0.99 a pound onions. So she typed the code for the red onions instead of the white ones on sale :/ She was also trying to make me pay $0.75 for a tiny garlic when that was the price for the jumbo garlic. This is the closest Kroger to my house. During the weekdays it's not too busy, but it can get busier on the weekends. The store is nice and clean and well organized. The deli department needs to step up their game. They take forever and are not exactly the friendliest folks in the store. I waited for over 10 minutes for 2 deli meat orders the last time I was there. I actually had to ask someone who appeared like they were working the deli area, "do you work in this department ma'am?" Went into the store tonight and witnessed the manager berating an obviously disabled female customer. What got my attention was her asking politely for help locating a handicapped scooter to which he replied "if you can't get around by yourself, maybe you shouldn't shop here". The customer fell silent and her head dropped, tears filled her eyes as she struggled to continue to stand. I was about to say something as my mother is also disabled. When the customer pointed out that this wasnt her normal store and that the recent renovations are confusing as she thought she came in the front entrance where the carts would normally be and not by the exit as they appeared to be. I was heart broken for this lady, but another employee happened by and on their own helped get her a cart... but of course the jerk of a manager took credit. I could tell she was embarrassed as she quickly left the store with tears streaming down her face. Seems like a standard Kroger. We just moved to the area and this is the closest to us. I will say that the deals here seem to be great (meat sales more frequently than my old Kroger). I even had one problem where I was charged too much and they happily gave me the price that was marked, and a $5 additional discount. I ended up with a 18 lb turkey for $5. I have nothing bad to say except the parking lot is a disaster area for bad drivers and it is hard to get in and out of. read more

I've recently moved to this area and this kroger is already number one my list for grocery shopping. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The store didnt smell bad, and I enjoyed seeing a diverse group of people there. The store was a little confusing when I walked in because the flower area was at the entrance. I wasnt use to that in other krogers I have visited. I definitely will be back to this location. read more

I love the new remodeled store. I was here last night and found everything needed. One thing I needed but could not find was a carry basket. I had to carry all my items by hand through the store. One other thing was a problem with not enough self check out registers available for check out. I thing only three were working. Other that that this is a great store. read more

The store is fine. The problem is at check out. I bring my own bags and even though I tell the person bagging my groceries that they don't all have to fit in those bags they shove everything in there anyway. Once, when I looked up from paying I saw that everything had been crammed into one bag. I told bagger that I didn't want it all in one bag, things got smashed and it was too heavy and he LAUGHED at me. Tonight when I asked the bagger to please not put it all in one bag he shrugged his shoulders and kept putting stuff in. I stop at this store because they carry the protein bars I like; I think shopping at the Publix around the corner for everything else and then making a quick stop for the bars might be worth the trouble. read more

Always a pleasure to shop at this store! Special thanks to Tina ( assistant Manager) for assisting me with purchasing fish after the market had just closed up. She saw me staring at the fish in the display case and walked over and asked me if I needed any help. I told her that I was really rushing to get to the seafood department after work but was unsuccessful that day and I really needed to buy catfish as I promised my daughter in law and son who had just moved back home from Texas I would cook their favorite dish for that night. Tina went back to the freezer and figured out how to weigh and price the fish and wrapped it perfectly so I could purchase it! She saved the night ( and dinner)!!! Soooo... I went there today ;) to get my tide deal!!! I'm a coupon lady and want my deal :). I get to the check out lane and scan my items, this lady is telling me I can only use 2 coupons. I told her I was there yesterday and use 5 to get my 5 items (buy 5 and get $5 off :)), and she's telling me it's a mistake :(... Ma'am, Kroger policy is that we're only allowed to take 2 printed coupons per customer. I said but I was here yesterday????? Anyhow, I go to another Kroger :):):) and guess what??????? They take ALL 5 of my coupons :). So, this Kroger, in tucker, ga, on lawrenceville hwy is NOT following Kroger policy :( it's following its own made up policy :(.... 2 coupons per customer?????!!!
