Usually I shop at Kroger quite often, who can resist getting one dollar off a gallon? I certainly can't. However, as others do point out, this one lacks cleanliness in comparison to the majority of other Kroger's. I have to agree. This is strange, considering this location is right by West Vining's, which is a very upscale neighborhood. If you shop here at night, just use the self-checkout lanes, as they usually only have one register open. They do have organic items here, however, they are limited. Honestly, you are MUCH better off going to the Publix located off Cumberland Pkwy. [Review #227]

Since when does customer service close at 11:20am? I now have to find another location to do simple business.

no, the Oscar Meyer sliced turkey is on sale, but you're out of the mesquite flavor.

The produced manager helped me! It was perfect. It was sweet and ripe! They really take the time to make sure the customer is satisfied with the products! I had also wanted some chicken breast that unfortunately had sold out, but they substituted the bone in chicken breast for the boneless for the same price! Great deal! We will continue to come to this Publix as long as their attitude of satisfied customers prevails!

It's not a get in and get out type of store, and prices aren't exactly the lowest. However, one visit here will show you why this store is different. I do like the variety of Hispanic, Asian, and even British foods available. You can find a variety of tortillas including zero carb. Although I couldn't find a specific low carb brand that I typically buy here. The variety of sauces are on point too, but could not find the Siracha. The fresh produce is pretty amazing. Picked up some artichokes today which will steam for dinner. The deli and bakery are pretty amazing. You can buy food there and eat onsite for lunch and snacks. Definitely recommend this Publix as a large footprint store with lots of food offerings for your kitchen.

Love this Kroger. I do have one complaint though. I'm usually a nighttime shopper (always in and…read moreout before closing time creeps up of course) and jeeze the ineptitude of *some* of the evening self checkout workers is amazing. This is coming from a previous Kroger front end supervisor, lol. I'm a regular so I will say some of them I recognize do a good job, but wow on multiple occasions in the evening they'll start making their announcements etc. probably around 10:30. I usually don't have that much so I'm quick and easy in-and-out. I'll walk up to self checkout at like 10:45 and then there's a huge line because the genius self checkout worker already started closing down the lanes. Definitely not protocol whatsoever. I'm gonna be completely honest when I say if I was supervising that night I would've given them an earful, lol. Isn't the goal to get the people out? Now that my rant about particular self check out workers is over, I'm very happy that this updated store finally opened. Sooooo much of an improvement compared to the old, tiny one on Delk and Powers Ferry. The speed bumps are a little annoying but other than that parking is great. Huge spots, lots of cart corrals. Gas station is awesome and regularly has a competitive price. The selection here at this store is great. I will also say I think I've seen a general improvement in the front end some recently, I think they might have a newer front end manager or something. Whoever you are, keep up the good work. I think you might still have a couple SCO workers that could use some tips though lol. Overall, solid store.

Came here to grab some quick essentials. From a quick scan through the aisles and produce, I could…read moresee items were well stocked and organized. Check-out was easy since all the registers were up and working. Parking is straightforward as with most Krogers. Would come again if in the area!

Stopped in to try to find a cake for a birthday that I had seen in the caseline at a different…read morelocation. They did not have said cake style in their caseline so I had to go ask about a custom cake. That doesn't bother me so much (it does make it a bit more expensive though) they don't really have a real bakery section at this location, you have to go to the pizza window (which is also the bakery but there's no signage to that effect so you would have to ask someone if you don't know-that what I did) The cake decorator was not there but they took my information and a few days later I got an email. She said she called a few times but I never had a missed call or voicemail. When I tried to call her she could not be located and she stopped responding to emails...so that was not great or particularly easy to handle. I had to follow up a few times and I did get a little nervous it wasn't going to work out but iI finally got the cake decorator on the phone and we went over everything (I do recommend having a call/in person consultation and bringing in some visuals for inspo!!) They were able to do it and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Basically identical to my inspo images (I included both in my photos) . and for only $26. I was floored. I was shocked. I was thrilled! It also tasted so good. Like more substantial than your typical grocery store cake. moist but not too light or spongy. Heavy not heavy to eat. The buttercream also actually tasted like butter cream not marshmallow. I can't wait to get another for my next celebration.

Fresh foods produce is on point. Meat department is monitored for freshness. Nice people who…read moregenuinely want to assist. Let me tell you how this public location is NEVER out of stock. I work in smyrna and tend to stop…read morehere after work sometimes to grab a quick item or two and I'm never disappointed. Twice now have I stopped at this location after work to stock up on groceries before a winter storm and traditionally most grocery stores have empty shelves up and down the aisles, but not this store and I'm so grateful for that. The aisles are always clean, the floors are never dirty and the produce is always fresh. And lastly I have to talk about the tremendous service I received on this particular visit. I was asked by multiple employees if I was finding everything I needed throughout my shopping experience. But what stood out to me the most was when I was going to return my shopping cart, I was met by a young man who sprinted out to me to make sure I didn't have to travel a long way to return the cart, wow. When they say shopping is a pleasure a Publix, they really mean that.

I have been shopping at Publix Highland for nearly 20 years, and until recently it was my go‑to…read moregrocery store. On my last visit, I saw a man walking through the store carrying a dog. I'm a dog lover, but animals -- unless they are legitimate service animals -- do not belong in a grocery store. It's unsanitary, inconsiderate to customers with allergies, and simply not appropriate in a place where food is sold. What bothered me even more was that the store allowed it. It felt as though they chose to accommodate the dog rather than the paying customers who expect a clean, safe shopping environment. After seeing this and realizing nothing was being done, I left my full cart at customer service and walked out. After two decades of loyalty, this was incredibly disappointing. Publix has always been known for high standards, but this experience made me question whether those standards still apply.
