Best pharmacy in the Montgomery area. They are responsive and have the prescriptions I need in stock. Other major pharmacies in the area have had long waits, had to order medication (delaying refills for several days), or sent me to other locations to get common Rx filled. The pharmacy has improved dramatically. But they have a horrible little man whose badge reads "cashier" or "technician" but he acts purely evil. He's rude, goes out of his way to not be helpful and he absolutely does not care about the customers -- who are ill and there for medicine. I understand Kroger makes efforts to hire handicapped and people with function issues, and while I appreciate that, his lack of any positive emotion for customers is painfully, obvious. I know people have different experiences but all the times I have gone to this Krogers I have had a really great one. I really enjoy the workers I have spoken to for help and they have all gone above and beyond to help me find what I'm looking for. Different departments too. I have never used the deli or pharmacy though so I don't know how they rank. The cashiers have all been nice to me too. Thanks Kroger crew. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy in existence. They would win an award for the most incompetent staff if that was a competitive category. The girl at the drive thru window obviously hates her job and conveys the msg quite well that she's not too fond of customers either. She's either completely brain dead or the pharmacy may be missing some inventory. Just go across the street to CVS. you will regret trying to get a simple rx at kroger. Absolute worst pharmacy. Absolute Liars to my face! They knew my mom was a heart patient and was in cardiac arrest. They gave her 2 pills to hold her over until they could Fill her refill. she waited in line to pick it up 2 days later and they said they still didn't get it. The. She asked for them to send it to CVS. After 4 trips, they told her they were too busy then she had them try to send it to Walgreens - we called 2 x and they still never sent it. She is going on 4 days and we will have to admit her to the hospital to get a refilled prescription at 9 pm. they are messing with people's lives and they don't care. read more

I hesitate to write this review as I am still a customer of this pharmacy. I would change pharmacies, but with the way customer service is everywhere, there is no guarantee that anything would change. Bad service is not my only complaint though, it is enough. This pharmacy not only has very rude employees, to watch them work is painful. There is nothing worse than to see an employee move as if they had all the time in the world. Hustle is not in their vocabulary. When you are on the other site of the counter, waiting quite a while, to see somebody shuffle, literally shuffle, after all of that wait, it's abnoxious and the worst way to win over a customer. When you finally get to the window and provide your name and DoB, the most common courtesy is to at least act like you are happy to be of service. Or maybe even slightly apologetic for the wait. Not here. I feel like too many of the clerks here have little regard for any type of customer satisfaction. Not all, but the majority. I can't imagine how desperate someone would have to be to use this pharmacy. I'm a pharmacist myself and I'm embarrassed to say I once worked for Kroger's as such. I don't work retail pharmacy anymore, but wow, their customer service has really gone downhill. It's disgraceful. I hope this isn't typical at other Kroger's but these folks just don't seem to care at all. Absolutely terrible service! Sitting in their drive-thru lane (I've currently been here 35 minutes). About 15 minutes ago, someone did ask what I was there for, then disappeared. I can see inside and there is no line (but there's a heck of one behind us now). I'm here for omeprazole... which is pretty common. Unbelievable. Switching to Walgreens immediately... and would give zero stars, but apparently 1 is the minimum I can give. read more

The Female pharmacist has absolutely horrible manners and and treats you as if you are waisting her time. I would suggest using any pharmacy but this. Called to verify prescriptions 5 times in less than an hour. Assumed they were busy and went in to see nobody in the wait area and none in line. Asked if there phones may not be working and the pharmacist lashed out with "we've been busy with a line out the door". Standing here waiting for prescriptions to be done and watched 3 people stand at the counter for more than five minutes with zero acknowledgement of them being there even though there is a clear line of sight. Sad to see how bad customer service has become. This is why people are loosing there businesses and jobs to online order companies. read more

My wife called to ask the pharmacy a question about a prescription for my son and the tech asked if she was a customer... Does that matter? Ummm everyone is a customer lady! We moved in the early stages of COVID, from West Houston Tx (77077) to Montgomery Tx (77356). While we couldn't find movers, and were under curfew here, but not there, the pharmacy staff at our new Kroger's has by far been the WORST part of our move. Seriously! They are cold, and unhelpful, with attitudes bordering on rude. I have a bipolar child at home that is more pleasant to deal with! This past week I ran out of my diabetes medication, and my doctor doctor sent in an electronic prescription on Wednesday at approximately 11:30am, it was Saturday evening (5:16pm) before I received a message that my prescriptions were ready for pick up. By then I had already been off my meds for 5 days so left immediately to pick up. When I got there I was told it would be $385. What!? I only pay $10 a month for my meds I told the Hispanic woman behind the counter. She just stood there and stared at me. I asked them to check it, as something had to be wrong, but she didnt budge. I explained that my last store had put in coupons: Maybe they hadn't transferred. Her only response was, "What do you want to do? Did you want to get it?" No! I can't afford $400 for a medication. Something is wrong! The other store helps me find coupons, cause I can't pay this. She literally just moved over and took the next person. ZERO HELP and ZERO EMPTHY is what I received from this Montgomery Kroger (20168 Eva Street, Montgomery, TX 77356)! I went to my car in tears, without the medication I had been waiting days for. I then called the other store, and acquired how to find the coupons,and returned. This time I wA assisted by an Asian gentleman whose name tag said "Asst Manager." I gave him my newly acquired (while sitting in car) coupon code, which he confirmed was already in their system {information that would have been helpful when I arrived the first time.} I explained once more I had NEVER paid more than $10, so something was wrong. His response was, "Well, we aren't going to figure this out tonight. Will look at tomorrow." I was the last customer, so WHY he couldn't figure it out that evening, is a mystery to me! Nevertheless, I left without my diabetes meds. Today I waited most of the day for them to call, but receive NO CALL TODAY. Finally, it occurred to me my doctor had electronically ordered my scripts, and the bag had three bottles in it when I went to pick up. He must have ordered it in a 90 day supply. Maybe the coupon was only good for one month at a time. I immediately called and got someone on phone. I explained my assumption and asked if they could check and see if I could get just one month, instead of the three my doctor just have ordered, as I assumed the coupon was only allowing for one. Whomever I was speaking to was apparently not in the mood, cause the first words out of her mouth, after acquiring my DOB was "Your coupon is already in the system! I think it's your insurance!" Okay, then can you drop to one month even if written for three, I asked. Her response, dripping in disdain, was, "it was only written for one month, someone filled it for three. It's only $10 for one month! (And then she hung up)!" Really!? I stood there is tears, trying to get my medication, and begging for help, and they treated me like a child. Honestly! I have met zero pharmacy staff at this Montgomery Kroger's that are pleasant or helpful. A complete opposite of what I was used to with the exceptional group at Briar Forest Kroger's. read more

Never sending another prescription here. Called 6 times throughout the day and they never answered the phone or returned the message I left. Had to call Kroger and get an associate from guest services to transfer me to them to pickup and tell me they wouldn't be able to fill my prescription today. Asked if they could release the prescription for transfer and they agreed, but then proceeded to send the other pharmacy to voicemail when they called to get the prescriptions transferred. Had to call my surgeon's office to have them transfer the prescriptions and completely circumvent the Kroger pharmacy. The worst of it all is this isn't the first time they have done this. read more

drove to the Montgomery location and went to customer service ask the lady how to access my account through the computer she told me to type in my phone number or my Kroger plus card on the website this did not work I called back up there and got a manager Carrie she said she does not know how to work the computer at the customer service desk she said she was not smart enough that was her words and I told her there should be no job that she can't do at this store as a manager this is ridiculous that she cannot work the computer system and she's a manager went through managers training read more
