I'm seeing more an more Krogers and since they bought my local Harris-Teeter chain, it's great to be able to earn/use Fuel Points at both. Today's shop was a small case of fizzy water and some snacks for the road. I found everything easily enough. The aisles are wide and the lighting is good. The store is quite clean. I used a self-checkout without any difficulty including entering my VIC card number. Prices are obviously more that Walmart but it is a much improved shopping experience. Store is dirty. Produce is picked over. Trash cans are overflowing and now wipes for the dirty carts.

This place saved us during the recent snow event we got here in Mount Juliet. If you're not ordering groceries via the Kroger app and then doing contactless pickup, you're doing it wrong. No long lines, no crowded aisles and the longest I've waited for grocery's was about 15minutes. Avoid weekend pickups! read more

I regularly shop at Kroger, Providence Market Place, along with Publix for meats, and Walmart for personal care, cleaning and paper products. The store is now much improved since remodeling in 2020. While much cleaner now, no match for Publix' cleanliness Despite what Yelp says, now open daily 6 am - 11 pm. Pluses: * Prices are very good, and near Walmart. * Very good beer and wine selection. Beer all chilled. My go-to store for beer and wine. Person doing the beer and wine stocking told me this is the highest grossing beer and wine store in Middle-Tennessee. I believe it. * Very good cheese selection * Boar's Head in the deli * Large self-checkout area usually without wait * Kroger gas with discounts that begin once you spend more than $100/month in the grocery store * Good floral shop Small Gripes: * To use coupons in self-checkout, you have to wait for the clerk to accept. Waste of time. * I've tried various cuts of steaks several times...flavor just doesn't compare with Publix where I now buy all my meats. Don't know why * Fresh hard rolls missing in the bakery. * Too many sale items require "Must Purchase 5" for best price. Impractical for me. read more

Don't use their grocery delivery service omg! Our order was to arrive between 5-6pm. She began shopping at 4:30. I paid $10 for delivery and was notified that it will be 7pm. I called and was told their scales were down. But nothing I ordered needed to be weighed! I also received a series of real time text updates and our shopper Mallory, seemingly has a difficult time with the shopping. She can't locate items that are definitely in store, she has refunded items that could have been substituted. All around a terrible experience. I hate to give business to Walmart because Walmart is gross, but at least they have their orders ready on time to pick up and don't charge a fee. This was a complete disaster. Guess we will eat dinner at 8:00. Update as I typed this, I got a message that Skyler is shopping for us now. Good lord. read more

Mt. Juliet (TN)/Providence Marketplace Kroger June 24, 2024 9:30 AM Central time I had a very bad experience in customer service where the clerk was rude, unhelpful, and demeaning. I didn't catch her name, but she was the only one on duty. I was trying to get a refund for an overcharge on Vital eggs (Organic, large, 12 count, Pasture raised) because when I shopped on Friday, June 21 at the same store, I was overcharged. I was charged 9.99 which is the cost of the 18 count box, not the 12 count. When she checked the price of my empty box with her scanner, it showed the same incorrect price of 9.99. She went through this whole explanation about why these particular eggs are so expensive, that the hens are allowed to roam free, and that she often buys these same eggs even though they are very expensive. I just shrugged it off, thinking, no refund coming because I had inadvertently bought these very expensive eggs. I decided to go back to the egg section to see if the $9.99 price was at the display, and lo and behold, the price on these eggs was $6.79. When I returned to the service counter, I showed her a photo of the price for the 12 egg carton and a photo of the price for 18 eggs of the same brand, listed as $9.99, making it very obvious that the system had the wrong price. Well now the clerk tells me that the $6.79 is the WIC price, not the price that rings up for customers not using WIC, and that the actual price was $9.99. I had never heard anything so ridiculous, so I had her call her manager. The manager finally told her to just give me the refund, which is what should have happened at the get-go. In the old days, Kroger would refund the entire wrong price, but now it's a fight just to get a refund for the difference. Nuts! read more

This Kroger was remodeled a few years ago and the store is decent with a good selection. However, the customer service is horrible! They are frequently out of carts and no one seems to care. The store can get very messy and you cannot find any help. I only come here to fill in my Aldi order and do not recommend it for everyday shopping! read more

lonnie MR 47 YEARS!!! if you are not going to have managers at the store when you open at 6am then you need to have employees that are actually there to help. i came in and was done shopping at 638am. i had a basket full of groceries and LONNIE aka Mr 47 years, at the self check out refused to ring me out on the regular register. he expected me to ring out a full basket of groceries at self checkout or wait over 20 minutes until 7am when he claimed someone could ring me up. i have been to plenty kroger's across nashville antioch franklin & donelson, shopping at 6am and getting done before 645am. i have NEVER had an issue with the self checkout worker jumping on the regular register to ring me out especially when using card payment. i told him this then he proceeded to throw up that he's worked there 47 years and has never seen me at this kroger before. regardless of the fact-- this was my first and last time ever shopping at this mt juliet kroger (401 s mt juliet rd) again!!! BUT if he has worked there 47 years how are you not able to multitask??? plus the fact there was literally no one else in self checkout. he just didn't want to help me. period. for someone that has been there 47 years i would think he would have way better customer service skills than what i witnessed on the morning of wednesday january 20th. he definitely needs further training or support. again, i will never step foot in this kroger again! beautiful store but horrible experience i never want to go through again. sad. read more

Compared to the Kroger in Belle Meade where I usually transact my grocery business, this Kroger has quite a bit more going for it. Its bigger, has much more parking AND a Gas Station right across from it. Of course, I only generally go here when I'm spending time with the better half of the Yelp Couple out in "The Country". The selection is gigantic by comparison. This Kroger is blessed with the "Ethnic foods" aisle while the Belle Meade one lacks this (Mexican Coke anyone?) as well as much more numerous other choices. It DID however lack the Garam Masla we were looking for, which required a visit to the nearby Publix and is the reason it only gets 4 stars. read more

It took the pharmacy 24 hours to fill a prescription. The prescription was supposed to filled the same day as my doctors appointment. Then, I called the next morning (first thing), they said it would be delivered between 2-3pm. It was 3pm and still no prescription. So I called and then told me it would be delivered between 5-5:30pm. The pharmacist SHOULD NOT be allowed to tell you when a prescription will be delivered because it's not even Kroger delivering it. Then, I went to go to store to pick up my prescription thinking it would take time to get ready, but IT WAS AT THE STORE THE WHOLE TIME! read more

I have used this (401 S Mt Juliet Rd Mt Juliet TN) Kroger branch since they opened. I can say the quality of employees has gone down hill, and the current management does not care to fix it. The self-checkout personnel are the worst. Major attitude problems, looking down on customers if they ask for help. The Kroger employees that shop for customers block the aisles with their car-sized boxy special carts. I frequently test employees about the store as to their knowledge of product location. About half have no clue where things are. Frequently, products advertised in their weekly sales are empty every single day. Then the mouthy desk people offer you a raincheck. What good is a rain check when there is no product to purchase? A simple concept that these Kroger employee are incapable of understanding. Finally the cleanliness factor is down to below average. Below average union workers produce below average cleaning. What a shock. read more

Excellent service on the Kroger "click list" service. The young gent who helped us, (Travis?), was prompt, polite and gave us excellent customer service upon our arrival to pick up the groceries we had ordered online. Highly recommend this service. It's free the first couple times you use it, then it's less than $5 to shop online and have the groceries brought to your car. Huge time saver. Great Job Travis! read more

This Kroger is convenient, well managed, and timely. The pharmacy always has any medications I need ready on time or often earlier than expected. There's plenty of selection here and if you see a discrepancy on your receipt customer service will try to fix it. A lot of the employees have worked there for years which makes the environment feel more consistent. read more

The Kroger was fine but the lady in the pharmacy was very rude. She said, "maybe if you got off the phone...etc". Seemed like she was having a bad day and I thought she was very unprofessional. Few other customers in line shook their had and one gentleman said, "she's always like this". From now on I am taking my prescriptions to Publix where the customer service is much better. read more

I have used the Click List service here a few times after we moved from Hermitage to Castalian Springs since my son has lessons right down the road twice a week and the Lebanon store does not offer the service. I usually like to shop myself but working full time and being a mom; sometimes it was just so convenient when I was short on time. We never had an issue with this store until last year. Last year, I received a call from the manager 45 minutes before our scheduled pick-up time and he explained that they were unable to fill the order due to low staffing. I was frustrated since I had placed the order 4 days in advance and the manager didn't offer another time slot or anything. He was nonchalant, like, oh well we can't do it. I took it as a lesson and didn't use this location again. A year later, my son had a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese right down the road so I thought I would give it another shot. Surely things would be better! This was on April 29th, this year. We picked up the groceries and had a few substitutions but that wasn't a big deal and it is almost expected. It was a busy day for them. We get home, 35 minutes away, and I am missing 3 carton of eggs. I called the Click List number on my receipt to the store and the lady that answered said that yes the eggs were there and I could come back and get them. I explained that we live pretty far away and that I would just pick some eggs up at our local store. I then asked if she could just credit the card that I paid with and she told me no. She said that my choices were that I could either come back to the store and pick up the eggs or she would give me a gift card for the amount of the eggs when I come back to the Mt. Juliet location. I then asked to speak to a manager because I think that's just silly. I am not driving over 30 minutes for $5. Then a man picks up the phone and says, "Hey what's going on?". I said, 'excuse me I am trying to get a manager' because I thought perhaps she forwarded me to the wrong person . He apologized and said he thought it was a personal call coming through. I then proceed to give him the short version of what happened and he tells me he is really busy and asks if he can call me back so I agree and give him my info. Two days go by and no phone call. I then called the 1-800 customer service number because I just wanted a refund for what I didn't receive and I assumed that I wasn't going to hear from that manager. The customer service lady told me to hold on that she was contacting the store and then the phone rang and a manager at the Mt. Juliet store was on the phone. It sounded like the same gentleman. I explained again what happened and he apologized and said that he would mail me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. I told him that I would just be happy with getting the refund for the eggs and he insisted that he wanted to rectify the issue. Three weeks go by and I hadn't received a single thing in the mail. At that point I am not going to call the store because I don't expect the truth or a refund of any kind. Four days ago, I emailed customer service explaining what happened and today I get an email stating that they put a credit on my loyalty card for the amount of the eggs. Thank you! That is all that I wanted! I would strongly advise you to use a different location if you are going to use Click List. My family and I used the Hermitage location for a couple of years and we never had an issue. I will NEVER use this store again. EVER. read more

The grocery store itself isn't bad and in fact has an okay health food section. The gas station attached to it is frustrating though - trying to use your Kroger card at the pump is a non-starter. I almost always get the message that I have to see the clerk to use my Kroger card - which I am NOT going to do. Don't go here for gas if you are in a hurry! read more
