I visited the Kroger at 6616 FM 1488 and the same clerk, Sharon, who I complained about a few months back was rude again. It doesn't look like anything has changed. I've only seen her twice and both times, it's the same experience. This time was enough. I will never visit this store again. I will give my business to Aldi and HEB since both stores are only half a mile away. I told Scott (MOD) about what happened and he said he would talk to her. When self checking, she was rude. When I spoke to her, she ignored me. Only when I called her name did she rudely respond. I told her it was rude to not respond when a customer is talking to a clerk. I told her I was going to file another complaint against her and she slyly smiled and said, "Go ahead! I have a button!" It was as if she was taunting me. What that tells me is she knows that Scott or no other manager will do anything about her poor attitude. She has no respect for them or customers if she can smugly say that. It is evident that this was never addressed because 100% of the time that I have interacted with her, it's been negative. I would never allow one of my 9 children to speak to me the way she does to customers. If that wasn't all, in her irritation, she shoved the cart back toward me and it ran over my foot. I was at the closest register by her computer station. No customer should ever feel like they can't have a positive experience in an establishment. I told the manager to check their camera footage and see how she was out of line.
Scott seemed surprised that she did that. He also apologized repeatedly for her behavior. He listened and I felt heard. But I will not take physical or verbal abuse from this woman again!
This is my very last time that Kroger will receive a dime from me. I am not a vindictive person but I feel like I should warn all of my friends and post my warning. The general manager is extremely friendly but not even he is enough for me to come back. read more
