Another Kroger in my "shopping with mom" rotation. This is a regular store, nothing standout usually except one visit, I stopped for flowers for my dad. The lady was so kind and helpful in the flowers department. She really took care of me, went looking for something I needed that they didn't ordinarily carry. Very helpful read more

Kroger - In the wrong spot but these looked so damn delicious - Drugstores Near Me - Magnolia, Texas

The BEST quality and prices and by far my favorite grocery store. I especially love the floral/garden department. Use your plus card and save a ton on gas too. Shout out to, James in the meat department. He is always so helpful. read more

7.14.23 My hubby and I were on vacation a few years ago on our anniversary and we stopped at a Kroger to buy a cake to celebrate. The cake was delicious! So now every birthday or anniversary we buy this cake from Kroger. It was our 34th anniversary so we stopped at the closest Kroger near our new house and wanted that cake. This location was out of it but they had one that was similar (but not as good). There was a nice selection of cakes and pies. I always love looking at Kroger's flowers selection. They always have a lot of beautiful ones. I would stop here again. read more

Best pharmacy in this area ~ knowledgeable Pharmacists and friendly staff. We moved our prescriptions from CVS!

Why 3 stars? Because it's fine for our neighborhood grocery store. --- --- --- When I say "fine", I mean it works. It's a pretty typical grocery store. Nothing stands out that makes it remarkable. To be honest, I'd probably shop at HEB, but Kroger is just a little bit closer to us. Easily, my biggest pet peeve is that they almost always only have one actual register open. At most, they have two. I'm fine to self check-out when I just have a few items, but I usually have at least 20 things, so it's kind of a huge pain to self check-out. Plus, something usually requires the manager to come over and put in their approval, which kind of defeats the purpose of the "self" checkout. The store itself, is again, fine. I feel like I have a stronger appreciation for Publix now that I've been shopping here. Publix was always just a bit brighter/cleaner and they always had multiple check-out lanes open. read more

My husband just returned from the flower department at Kroger on 1488.05/08/25.The woman working that department couldn't be bothered in helping him with his flower selection for Mother's Day.No personally either. Why work with the public if you don't want to do what you were hired to do?You'll loose business with those kind of employee. read more

The store is nicely located and has a variety of fresh products but the manager Greg was very mean, unprofessional, disrespectful and denied the return of my items stating that is more than 10 days and their policy doesn't allow it. I asked him to show the policy since the receipt doesn't specify any return limitations and he denied again. I asked him to write me a statement and he refused saying that he will not give me any proof of denial of my return than I asked him to talk to his manager and he gave me the number. I called and I solved my problem immediately so apparently is no such policy in place. Stay away from manager Greg!!! read more

It's a small Kroger's compared to the other stores. The layout of it is very different and it could be because it's small. The cashiers were nice. They were short on baggers. They were social distancing with the X in the floor but with the store so small it's hard too. The parking lot is packed. Not enough parking, but easy access to 1488. read more

No checkout lines are ever open only self check out. Sundays are usually busy shopping day and only one line for check out really read more

This place absolutely sucks. The employees are always in a bad mood and make stuff more complicated than what it is. Not only that but the food prices are way over priced compared to the H-E-B down the road. Terrible customer service and bad prices. If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. Never again am I going to this Kroger let alone a Kroger itself. Save your trip and go to the H-E-B. read more

I love this Kroger- very friendly and helpful employees. Great meat department, and the ladies who work at the deli counter are so nice.

To Latonia in the pharmacy department; The sign clearly reads 10::00-6:00 pm as your hours. Your job therefore ends at 6:01(or after your closing duties) it does NOT however end at 5:57 which is when I came through the drive through. Your attitude was over the top and unnecessary. I get that you have other places to be and work sucks but you signed up for the job not me so I don't need your MULTIPLE head shakes and huff and puffs and eye rolling. Getting my medicine for COVid was important. I don't much care why I got the attitude but I suggest you change it or you will never be successful in life. read more

It is very inconvenient to use this Kroger on 1488 now because they allow street vendors to sell political flags with profanity in the parking lot where you enter! I can not take my children here now so this is the last time I will go to this store! I tried to call to let them know but both times i was put on hold and then hung up on when they finally picked up the phone, before I could even say anything. I guess customer feedback doesn't matter so I decided to leave a review to warn other parents who may shop here and don't want their children exposed to profanity! It is a grocery store not political rally! read more

This is literally the worst pharmacy in the area. I came here for my kids covid vaccine & it took 30 mins just for the lady to fill out the paperwork. (This is not us waiting bc they were busy - this was her staring at the computer, trying to fill out our info). Couple of days later, I dropped off a prescription. They said it would be ready in an hour. I said I would be back then next day. Next day - I wait in their drive thru for 40 mins. Only to be told it's not ready & I need to loop around & wait again. Unprofessional & disorganized. read more

I have to say I am downgrading. Kroger's has stopped the Senior discount and did so without any notification. Their prices have gone up since then and they have less product coming in, shelves are often empty and overall, business is down. I find myself comparing prices with competitors and having to go to several stores. I find we are spending less and don't get as many fuel points either. On a positive note, their Pharmacy Staff are the best. read more

I'm sorry.. But I absolutely dread coming in this store.. And so does everyone I know (ok, except 1 and he's a guy that doesn't know any better) Employees act like they hate it here, employees are not knowledgable nor care, shelves are empty, the feel of the store is overall sad, skanky and dismal (where's a knife), On the bright side... There's HEB. read more

So far my past few visits during CoViD-19 I've been pretty impressed at their customer service. Most, if not all, employees were wearing masks at my first visit. My second visit i had originally planned on going to HEB. In Austin we dont have Krogers, so im more famiar with the layout. Turning into the very busy parking lot of HEB i was disappointed to see that maybe 4 ppl were wearing any type of face covering or gloves. 1 was an employee and 1 was getting gas. Being that my family members are medically at risk, I couldn't imagine even walking inside. I went straight back to Kroger's, and even though it was much busier than my first visit, i was relieved to see atleast half of the customers in the parking lot were wearing face coverings and again, once inside, a good portion of employees and customers were wearing face coverings. It isnt the biggest store, so HEB would have had more selection to choose from. But their customer service was great each visit and obviously a more controlled environment to respect others and their concern for the spread of a highly infectious respiratory virus. read more

The customer service at this location is phenomenal! There so many to mention, but the ladies in the deli, Evelyn and Susan are excellent employees, they are efficient and very friendly. Trust me, it's not easy working on a grocery store, I did it for 16 years, but loved it! There are also a few really great customer service people at the front end as well, and their names escape me at the moment, but I will update my post with more names asap. It is a pleasure to shop there, and with great customer service, even better! read more

After shopping here for the last 7 years - I'm done. With all the new self checkouts there are never more than two cashiers working. There usually is someone directing traffic to the self checkouts. Wow, I didn't realize I was on the schedule today. If I am obligated to ring up and bag an entire cart groceries I'd better get a discount for doing someone else's job. I. Don't. Work. Here. Adios, Kroger. Headed down to the new HEB that actually helps their customers. read more

All self-check tonight at 9:15pm, while numerous employees stood around talking, laughing and taking selfies. No manager in sight.

The Bakery Department Manager at this location is amazing! I have been searching everywhere for Saint Patrick's day sprinkles the day before the holiday and as a last resort I figured I would ask if the bakery had any to spare. The manager went above and beyond and separated some of their stash into a container for me to take home. Life saver! read more

This is my go-to store for on my way home. They almost always have what I need. Every time I have been here the manager is walking the store talking to customers and making sure everyone has exactly what they need. He is super friendly and has even given me a few barbecuing recipes. I prefer to pick my steaks from behind the meat counter. The employees in the meat department are always extremely friendly and willing to help and deal with me being picky I have noticed that the front end customer service representatives are not always as friendly during the day as they are at night. The people that work the evening shifts are really helpful. The daytime is not so much. read more

We're new to the area and this is the closest Kroger near us, after my visit I'll be driving further to the H-E-B or another market. This was a mess! The produce area was horrid, the selection of other products is limited, they have no inventory. It's unorganized and just sad looking. I really wanted to like you but not returning. And by all the negative comments, y'all might want to step up your game. read more

I have talked to the managers about applying for a job here and talked to a few workers occasionally. They seemed very condescending and gave me a very bad feeling. I have heard and witnessed how disrespectful the managers are to their employees. The store manager was reported to not be wearing his mask properly during the current quarantine. The store manager also makes me very uncomfortable to be near him. I get a very bad feeling from him. I do not feel safe nor comfortable working here. The quality of food has been okay. Not as terrible as some places can be. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder so the fact that the employees and managers are also disrespectful towards customers makes me very worried about going to shop here as well as talking to the workers. The few kind workers I have met is fortunate. read more

I am appalled at the amount of people who enter this store not wearing masks. The employees play an automated message on the overhead speakers which clearly states that masks are required, but they don't enforce this rule at all. I saw over a dozen inconsiderate people not wearing a mask and the staff simply ignored it. Will never be returning. Shameful. read more

Our review relates to the pharmacy only. Manager and cashiers in the general store are very friendly. As to the pharmacy, we have been clients for many years and as diabetic turn over around $ 8,500 / year. While the staff is very friendly, the pharmacist, Ms. Grace Liu, should work at a funeral parlour. Never a smile, always unfriendly. I had a question a week ago regarding a medication. She insisted I come in, which was totally unnecessary. Bottom line, we switched our pharmacy needs to Walgreens across the street. Lothar Kammerer read more

I don't know if the manager is no loner with this store. However, he was always available and working in the store. You would see him interacting with the customers. Now the customer service has gone down. They're nice but never enough lines open, never enough baggers they push the self check out when you have $200 worth of groceries. read more

The pharmacy clerk was rude on the phone and the pharmacist was worse! She told me that they couldn't fill my prescription refill unless it was 2 days before I run out! That has NEVER been the case at my other Kroger.I was going to switch my prescriptions to Kroger on 1488 because it is now more convenient for me & on my home from work.NEVER will I go there! The pharmacist was extremely rude & talked over me & wouldn't even listen to me.She just tol me that was Kroger's policy.I knew that wasn't true,so I called the other Kroger & they'll have it ready for me at 3:00 today!Do NOT recommend this Pharmacy!I'd give them a 0 rating if I could! read more

This pharmacy never gets prescriptions right. Every month they either have to order the meds that I get every month (so they should already know to order it) or say they will auto fill and dont. This is the 3rd kroger we have tried. I think I will try walgreens. read more

Have been trying now for three weeks to buy some Private Selection salsa of a certain mix. Shelves for this product have been bare for these three weeks although there is space dedicated and labeled for this salsa. Inquiry to a store uniformed employee got basically a "Huh?" She then went to the shelf and looked. Sure enough, she didn't find any salsa of this type. I asked if they had any in the stock room and got a "I dunno". Can't imagine why the manager hasn't sought resupply or, eliminate the shelf space with the label for the product. read more

I went to drop off a prescription and was told by an older female working there that it would take over an hour and a half to fill even though there was literally nobody in line in front of me and only one person sitting down waiting for a prescription. I understand that people call in prescriptions and I'm sure they had other prescriptions to fill but over an hour and a half is ridiculous. Especially when the prescription is for a Medrol dose pack and antibiotics for a severe allergic reaction and cellulitis. You kind of want the medication a little more quickly than that. I asked for my prescriptions back and I will be going just about anywhere else where I'm sure there won't be nearly that long of a wait! read more

This morning between 11-11:30am my car was broken into at this Kroger parking lot. When I alerted the manager, Todd, he told me I needed to call the police which I did. Once the police officer arrived, he, the store mgr & I witnessed the thief on camera stealing items from my car. The store manager never showed empathy or apology for this occurrence nor did he ask for my name and phone number in the remote chance any of my stolen items were recovered. I can only assume crimes are a common occurrence at this location. A few months ago there was a police report of a woman raped in this same parking lot. I will now be shopping at HEB just a few miles down the road where I have experienced much better customer service, higher quality of products, along with a safe/secure parking lot. read more

Friday September 11/2015 at 9pm I bought some sushi rolls in their sushi station. everything I bought was ether cooked or crab meat. After I ate I went to bead, in four hours I start feeling terrible, I threw up and also diarrhea. Every 20 minutes I have diarrhea and high fever. I went to my doctor and they told me, I have very aggressive stomach infection, they gave me some medication and send home. After all day in bead I still feel horrible, and symptoms not going anywhere. Please don't buy sushi from Kroger, because they don't care. When I called and spoke to store manager, he told me this sushi stand not part of Kroger, and they operate by individual owners. I told them I'm not trying to have conflict with them but I want to be sure they al least following safety rules. I don't wish to anyone feel same as me any time soon. I will never shop at Kroger after this episode. read more

I love this Kroger store and main reason I love it is the manager.. I dont know his name but he is fabulous, an old school manager who is " on the floor" watching what is going on and there to help.
